blin bowed his head as he pulled the trunk back onto his shoulder "alright i will be there soon." he then took the telaporter to aria

Relieved that Traven was now gone, the Casino Head quickly slid up behind Kyralae and said, "Welcome to the Casino, you are probably wondering why it is so empty." He shifted around the bar and poured himself a sherry. The head seemed to know that she would be a good candidate so continued. "The Great clan race cleared this place out with betters so we decided to get some remodeling done in the Bar and main floor. We have just finished the main floor and now my assistant and half the staff quit when they one bets on that Cadwallander fellow... 100000 to one odds too..."

Kyralae glanced sideways at the newcomer. .. how borring.. he must work here... heh.. I can't believe he'd talk about work in a bar.. "What fun is a bar without people afterall." She spoke after a small silence. "So tell me, is it always like this? One would expect a casino to be more.." She rolled wrist slightly as she thought of the word. ".. Lively..."

"Well normally its bustling with all types of people rich and poor. Lately though everything has been... well you can tell..." The head took a sip of his sherry. "the name's Creig by the way, I'm the Head Casino Manager."

".. What a plain name." She frowned. "Plain names lack oriniality and are pointless.."

"You think Creig is a plain name?" he said a little downcast, "Well it is a lot better than what it was before I started working here... Guy..."

"Wow, you're parents must not have loved you very much if they named you 'Guy'." She giggled sarcaticly under her voice for a moment before she turned back to him. ".. And my name is Kyralae.. seeming as I'm sure that's what you hoped to gain from this whole conversation."

"Kyralae, nice name, and you are right it is one of the things I was wondering." Kreig said thinking Judging by her mannerisms... she might eb just the person I am looking for... "So why, may I ask, did you come into our.. currently less than fine establishment today?"

"Eh? I was bored.. and these places are usually entertaining..." She laughed. "Nothing is funnier then a stupid drunk after all!" Kyralae took another sip of her drink, suspecting that he was trying for something.

"I'm not trying anything if that is what you are thinking." he said almost knowledgable of her thoughts. "But I am considering you for a possible position here. If you want it, as my assistant..."

"Explain to me why I would want that." Her voice was thick with sarcasm as she spoke.

"Well first of all the pay is reasonably good, enough to live in a Mansion and still be earning money. Mind you the mansions are paid for by the Hunter Clan. Any changes you would like to see around here would be completely in your power to do, that includes hiring and firing anybody below you, which wuold be everyone not part of the Hunter Clan and me. Money is really no object here, as long as we break even every year Desta is happy. Heaven knows she gets enough money off the advertisements on the side of the Fly...err... Aria..." He said in a slightly elegant tone until the end where he stumbled.

"Listen, I don't need.. nor do I want a house or money, so, your reasons don't really mean anything to me. I also don't want to be affiliated with a clan." She sighed and rubbed her brow in frustration. "Working isn't really my thing, so unless you have a good reason for me to work under you, you're wasting your time."

"We are only affiliated via sponsorship and as a hub and messege center for the Hunter Clan, we are actually not technically part of the hunter clan although we do work for them." He paused, "Now, let me ask you this, what is it you want most? Hope? Family? Adventure? Power? Just to survive? All these things and more are available to you here with the possible exception of family, mind you we do have an adoption center on the second floor." Crieg was desperate now, he needed a new assistant and this was his best chance. "Working here isn't that bad, just need to hire some new staff and they do most of the real work, we have an automatic accounting system so there is no need for paper work and in the end you are just supervising the workers. And really you wouldn't be so much as an assistant as a partner..." He took another breath, "Also it means you get a chance at something no other person in Byako will get a chance to do, a complete redesign of an establishment such as this, I will aid you in anyway in that respect."
