Hotaru blinked at him. "Oh I don't do well with shopping." She admitted as he closed the distance between them. "Mom does my shopping cause I get distracted." She said.

Kai laughed.
"Well then, I wont let you get distracted. Just take your book home and leave it there."

Hotaru hugged the book to her chest. "But...." She looked like a child whose favorite toy was being threatened. "I don't go anywhere without a book." She finally said her brown eyes wide.

Hotaru blinke. "Oh!" She said understanding what he said. "No no, mom always says I get distracted cause when she sends me to do shopping I always end up in the book store or an art shop instead of getting what I'm supposed to." She admitted with a blush. "I forget what I'm supposed to be doing." She said with a shrug.

Kai laughed and shook his head.
"Well then you still need to leave the book and this time, your going to come with me to get a complete make over, you hair is insane."

Hotaru frowned and took a step back from him. "I like my hair." She defended as she clutched her book tighter.

Hotaru pouted. "I like my hair." She reiterated. "There's nothing wrong with it." She blew some hair out of her face and blushed. "Maybe it needs a trim. But it's just fine otherwise." She pouted.

"Come with me, you can bring your book."
He turned and motioned for her to follow.
"If you do, then ill buy you a few books of your choice."

Hotaru bit her lip. Free books were so enticing, but she liked her hair the way it was. Hotaru chewed her poor lip before groaning and quickly catching up to him. She couldn't resist new books.

Kai smiled at her as they walked and then looked forward.
"Dont worry, they are only going to trim the bangs a bit, so you dont have to keep moving it out of your way."

Hotaru pouted up at him through said bangs. "I like my bangs." She muttered as she opened her book and sighed at the shoe prints and burnt corner. She turned the page and began reading again as she walked with him.

"Well, only a little bit is coming off, so dont worry."
He smiled as he walked into the mall and headed for the barber shop.
