On a night like any other, a lone wolf wandered aimlessly through the forest. He hadn't eaten for days and his stomach gives the occasional growl to remind him. He looked up through the branches to catch a glimpse of the moon; the moon that is always there, always watching over him.
This wolf once had a pack, one of his very own, but things went horribly, horribly wrong. He had always been a greedy wolf, and he couldn't help that, he was a wolf after-all! But he was greedy even for a wolf. Entirely so, that the rest of his pack grew tired of his gluttony and lack of sharing. It came to the point of a small-scale revolution. Two of the more respected males took it upon themselves to rid the pack of this horrid leader. They succeeded without much struggle, as no one would stand up for him and his tyrannous rule. So he was torn and scratched up and left on his own: no pack, no den, nothing.
Here he was now, with only the moon as company. Sometimes in his growing insanity, he would speak to her as if she were his mate. He'd exchange a yip or two and imagine he heard responses. This, along with many other unappealing habits kept the other animals away from him. He was even so skinny that the oter predators didn't want to eat him. So his life went along rather easily, except for that one scarce supply: food.
He crept through the under-brush, looking for food, just as he had all day. He figured he'd have to find something sooner or later. But all day, everything was already mid-dart by the time he spotted it. Everything, that is, except for this unlucky creature.
A fawn lay, curled into a nest of grass, fast asleep. It didn't even stand a chance. The wolf pounced and wrapped his jaws around its skinny little neck before it had a chance to wake up. But the wolf was not in the clear yet. There were parents to avoid, and while none could be seen at the moment, he knew they wouldn't be far off. As quickly as he could, the wolf ran, fawn dragging along beside him, limp and dead. He ran until his pads were sore, and still kept running. He didn't stop until he reached a rocky hill at the edge of the forest. Here, he could see the moon in all of her ethereal beauty. Here, he settled down and ate his catch. It was the most delicious meal he could remember, perhaps only because during his unfortunate fast, he had forgotten what meat tasted like. Chomping down on the meat in a frenzy, the wolf looked insane, and did not calm until not a morsel was left. He drew his blood-drenched muzzle back from the bones that now lay bare. He looked at the moon, upturned his nose and howled mournfully that there was none-left. [ Link ]

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. He, like his father, definitely likes the ladies and will obviously treat them better than he does males. In fact, he tends to butt heads with males, every one except his father so far. He is more of the dark, arrogant type, and isn't quite polite but often still manages to get the better of the females. He also becomes rather competitive really easily and has a dominant personality.
