Elizabeth looked back at the kitchen door once more and then went and walked out the front door. She walked back to the garden and looked at all the beautiful plants there. She sighed and bent down and sat on her knees as she let her hand touch one of the roses. ((Okay))

"So, you and my brother still at ends?" Donovan stepped out of the shadows of the tree, watching Elizabeth intently. She was lucky he had already fed, otherwise things could have repeated themselves. He walked up behind her, looking down at her.

Elizabeth jumped slightly at Donovan's sudden voice. She sneered at his words and she turned her attention away from the flower and to the brother behind her. "He is such a jerk. I wish he would fall over and die. I don't know why my parents agreed to the marriage arrangement." she then looked back down at the rose as she let the petals slid softly against her fingertips, her eyes hold a bit of sadness.

Donovan smirked. "I feel exactly the same way," he said, kneeling down to her side. He could think of a few reasons why her parents would marry her off to Theo. One: He was the crown prince, so that meant lots of money. Two: They were secretly hoping he would drain her dry. Three: They just wanted to get her off their hands. He spoke none of them out loud.

Elizabeth looked over at him from the corner of her eye. "I can tell you fell the same way from the way you two fought the last night." she pulled her hand from the rose, making sure as to not cut her finger on one of the thorns then she stood, ler long gown decreased as she stood and covered her feet once again. She looked up at the sky and stared at the bright moon. It shined in her deep blue eyes, causing them to look like star sapphires. She pulled her gaze from the moon and looked down at Donovan. "Well I am going for a little walk so bye." she then walked away and began her journey around the house.

Donovan grinned and watched her, watching her as intently as he had last night, his complete and full attention on her. He watched as she got to her feet, the moonlight reflecting in her irises. He found himself mesmerized by the glow in her eyes. "Not goodbye," he murmured as he stood up again. "Just, until next time." Then he was gone.

Elizabeth had did a full perimeter check around the large house. It was very beautiful, the most beautiful house she ever seen really. She was now leaning against a tree staring up at the moon and stars. She always loved the night sky. It was so much calmer then a bright sunny day. She wind blew ever so slightly, causing her to shiver and strands of her black hair to flutter across her face and neck. She crossed her arms over her chest and rubbed her arms as to warm herself, as she did not want to return into the home for a coat. She looked over at a window that that had a light coming from it. She still have yet to meet the mother of the twin brothers. She wondered when she would meet their mother.

A young woman stepped out of one of the many doors. She walked out to the garden, her crystal blue eyes scanning the flower beds. Her wavy blond hair was pulled back into a ponytail. She was dressed in a tan sweater and a pair of neat, clean blue jeans. Her skin was pale, but, in this palace, that wasn't exactly rare. She suddenly stiffened and turned around, immediately spotting Elizabeth. She relaxed and smiled warmly. "Well, hello there," she said. Her voice was quiet and sweet.

Elizabeth turned her head to see the beautiful young woman. "Hi." she said back in a low calm voice before she turned her head back to gaze at the stars once more. "The night is so beautiful. Lot better then a hot sunny day." she smiled and looked at the woman again. "It's a little wierd for a human to say that, but I have always been a night person." she finally pushed herself off the tree and stepped closer to the woman. "I'm Elizabeth, and you are?" she asked kindly.

The woman turned her gaze to the starry heavens above and smiled all the more brightly before looking back to Elizabeth. "Indeed it is," she murmured. "I'm Marie," she answered. "Welcome Elizabeth."

"Thanks. So are like related to Theo and Donovan?" she asked curiously. She brushed the stray strands behind her ear with her hand and she let her smile brighten a little more.

Marie smiled warmly and nodded. "Yes, I am," she said. At the mention of Theo and Donovan, her eyes seemed to absolutely glow with pride. If it was possible, her crystal blue irises seemed all the brighter.

Elizabeth giggled slightly at the obvious pride and happiness in her eyes. "So I am guessing you are their mother." she said noting that no other family member could have so much pride and happiness for the twin brothers. She wanted to say something about their anger issues but she bit her tongue instead.

Marie didn't say anything but simply made a motion for Elizabeth to follow her. She turned on her heel and made her way back inside. She didn't check to make sure Elizabeth was following her but kept the same steady pace as she walked through what seemed like a maze of halls. After a few minutes, large paintings hung on the walls of different people in different clothing styles. Finally, she came to a halt before one painting in particular. In this painting, there were four people. One was a young woman, her, sitting in a chair, holding two identical babies. She was wearing a floor-length, long-sleeved red dress, her hair flowing around her shoulders. Behind her, with his hand placed on the back of the chair, stood a man. He had black hair and deep blue eyes. He wore a dark blue top and navy blue pants. But, the most noticeable thing about him were two scars running vertically down the left side of his face. One, the longer, ran parallel to his features, running along beside his eyebrow and eye, reaching from his forehead to his chin. The second ran down, through the middle of his eyebrow, through the middle of his eye and stopped at the corner of his mouth. The scarred eye had lost its color, blindness forcing it to a gray color.

Elizabeth had followed her and was now in a daze at the picture before her. The babies looked so innocent in their mother's arms. Their father looked very handsome, even with the scars on his face. She smiled happily at the photograph. "They look so innocent and small." she said brushing her fingures ever so lightly across the picture and over the baby that had been Theo. "Can I ask you a question?" she asked looking over to the mother of the twins.
