It's hard to say. I really do think that if Light existed and he had a Death Note, the worl would become a better plase for people with good hearts. But still L wasn't a bad person I only wish that he hadn't gone vs Kira. Yet it doesn't make scense does it? If Kira was real would the good people go vs him? Wouldn't the be happy for them and their children. That the can live in a better crime free world? Come to think of it there is no reason to go vs someone who could be a god, especialy if it was Kira. And still Light didn't have to kill thouse people (the detectives) that was wrong. He shouldn't have gone close to L. If he didn't that L couldn't do anything about it. I think that lights first mistake was controling the time of death when the police suspected Kira of beeing a student. Or maybe he shouldn't have killed Lind L Tylor Idk but I guess I'm team Light. But I still like L. eek ok that was loooooong!
