Ayanami Rei First Child OH wait...gay marriage...I dunno about that. I know because I was looking up the age of consent in different states. Then Momi-chan said something about Indiana allowing kids to get married at like 14 or whatever. So I had to look around to prove him wrong. Also New Hampshire DOES allow same sex marriage! sweatdrop the only problem there is how many 13 year olds are 100% sure of their sexuality? (post#146)

Well I think it's stupid for it to be that young. Not to mention I like my girls in their 20s or early 30s. sweatdrop
It was more a statement to say "Look how stupidly absurd this is"

In most places with young marrying age it has to be with parental consent. But at one time it was commonplace for people to marry quite young and sometimes blue laws slip thru the books because it doesn't come up much. #170

exactly, when people couldn't assume a lifespan of 40 the events we use to chronicle life happened alot earlier. Most 13 year olds CAN'T work, but look back it it was commonplace to have been an apprentice since age 9 so you could probably work unsupervised by then. Our views today reflect a society with a lifespan that allows for a longer childhood, which allows us to focus on academics and higher learning. #180

Yep, science has made a lasting impact on society...allowing it to develop since people are around long enough to see the consequences of their actions. #221

In the developed world there are more Auto Immune Diseases then in developing worlds. Many believe its because we're not letting our kids eat dirt and touch things and do nasty stuff. man you're giving me hell in this posting contest lol. we're getting off topic in many of the threads ok back on topic, I rarely use myspace, and for a while I had fun on Facebook. True, we need to find a balance between sterile and health hazard.
At this point we may have bumped the guild up on the search for anime guilds, since traffic has gone up 100% thanks to our endless prattle.
I would recommend Tinerme more if they had a marketplace...it's in it's infancy as a social site so it's still barebones. But it has done well in asia so it may improve. I like being in on the ground level. #242
P.S.- Tinerme is a social site similar to Gaia that has had a couple years in beta in asia. I mentioned it before but idk who actually reads that far back.

I don't need anymore distractions from Gaia, i have a bnad habit of getting addicted to something real bad on the internet. and io neglect everything else. (post#262: Mightyena)

Elzingaiv I know how that can be, I had something important to do online...next thing I know I'm browsing youtube and going, "WTF am I doing?!" #309 I do that all the time lol, mostly when i get caught up reading wikipedia or bulbapedia articles. I can barley even read unless its on a flat screen PC screen and at the font size the pc uses. it hurts so much trying to read a book, i need globs of light, and usually can only read a book in the day time since lamp light isn't enough.
