Dark vs. Light

I sighed in relief. Before, I was not sure if he was light or dark.
Hearing he was a dark, I sat down and and relaxed a bit.
"Um, okay then.", I said. Then I laughed. "So what brings you to the boundry?"

I shrugged, unsure of the answer myself. "This was where the energy of the world told me I was needed to be. When I am tired, and unneeded, I return to the darkness from which I was formed. When I am needed, I surface there. So here I am."  

[gandygirl]

"Oh?", I asked. "And why are you needed here?"

I shrug nonchalantly. "Yeah, I suppose so...." I looked at Knight, a perplexed expression on my face. "So you help those in need...? Would you help a Light just as quickly...? Or do titles not bother you?"  

[gandygirl]

I felt my heart beat quicken and my breathe knock out. I looked at Yuima.
"I- I-", I stammered. "I can help you", I said hopefully. I couldn't believe I had said that, but I knew what I could do. My real question would be if she and I would be alive in the end.

I looked up at each of them. "Though I have been created through a ritual of dark magic in the shadowlands, my purpose I was embedded with drives me to see that all are equal in their pursuit of their desires. Light or Dark matters not where the heart has its wants." I leaned back against a tree, and looked up at the sky. "As for my purpose here, I don't know. Maybe it has to do with one of you."

"All I kno is that a lot has happened in the past 24 hours and I have no idea why ur here. I don't think either of us needs ur help.", I said. I knew how to handle this situation and I knew I would be fine on my own.

"Help me with what....?" I ask, my voice somewhat shocked at the sudden show of emotion in Yoko's voice. Why was 'I can help you.' a hard sentence to say? I sigh, waiting for an answer.

I did not know for sure if they were the ones in need of help, or ever what they would need. But I was here for a reason, and could not rest until that reason was met. "Tell me a little about yourselves. it might help me discover what you truly desire."  

[gandygirl]

I knew I should not be doing this, but it was for a friend. I felt like i had to do it. "Well," I said. "I can help you become permanently light. But it isn't very safe."

"Permanently Light....?" My voice shook in excitement, looking at Knight. "I want...... the world to be not so divided. People like me find it hard to live in a world like this.... We can't truly feel at home in either place..." I sigh, my voice having gone all sad.  

[gandygirl]

"You have a choice. I can give you an upgrade in ur power instead if you like so you can turn light whenever and come back whenever. Or you be permanent. But either way, there is danger,", I said.  

[neodrac54]

"I can't give up on the dark... as much as I can't stay away from the light...." I sigh, before shrugging as if nothing mattered. "And as for danger... I'd accept it as it comes..."  

[gandygirl]

"Then make ur choice. Permanent? Or the ability to change for as long as you want?", I asked Yuima.

"The ability to change.... Just tell me what I need to do Yoko." I could hear the subdued hope in my voice, and knew my eyes probably had that fiery determination shining in them as they always did.
