A Knight to Remember

Kou looked at the two swimsuits with a bit of thought and contemplation, looking back and forth between the two for a moment before deciding. "I think that the black one would be better." He shared his opinion with Minako. "It would make your eyes stand out."

He was glad that she'd decided to take him shopping after all.

Usagi laughed nervously and rubbed the back of her head, a huge goofy but embarassed grin on her face. "Ha-hai! Arigatou," she said, bowing her head slightly. After a few moments, she looked up with a determined look set across her face as she once again began her furious assault on the game controls. ((Solar-chan is going to take over Motoki for now. Anyone else want to, feel free!))

"Usagi-chan... please don't break the machine!" the young man said as he appeared behind the blonde. He didn't think he could afford to replace the machine and he definitely knew that the blonde couldn't.

"KUSO!!" Usagi exclaimed again, hanging her head in shame as the words "Game Over" flashed on the screen once again. The teen had tried to follow the other girl's advice and yet, in true Usagi-fashion, she was unsuccessful. Motoki braced himself for the flood of tears he assumed would follow the crushing defeat.

However, the tears never came.

"Gomen ne, Motoki-onii-san! I'll try to be nicer to the machine next time," she said apologetically.

"Ah, it's fine Usagi-chan."

Aisu smiled at the girl. "Hey, wanna play again, only this time I'll help you with that boss?"

Minako's cheeks began to turn red, as she began to smile cheerfully. She quickly placed the other swimsuit back on the shelf, as she turned to head for the checkout. Though when she went to turn the strap of her bag caught on the clothing rack. She quickly began to panick, as it began to fall. She was able to keep it from falling over, as an embarrased look formed on her face. She carefully held her hands out towards it, as she took a couple step backward just incase it began to fall over again. A shocked look then formed on her face, as she noticed she had bumped into something. Moments later a loud crashing noise could be heard throughout the store, as she nervously looked over her shoulder to see that she had bumped into a t-shirt display and knocked it over instead.

"Whoops." She said in an embarrased toned, as she scratched the back of her head nervously. She then quickly began to pick up everything she had managed to knock over.

A lifetime of martial arts training kept the look of embaressment off of Kou's face but it took every bit of discipline that he had. Without comment or expression, he assisted Minako in restoring the display to proper order before putting his arm around her waist and guiding her to the checkout under the scrutinizing eyes of everyone present.

He placed the swimtrunks then took her bikini and added it to his bill. "Call it a gift." He told her, one arm still around her waist. Either he'd forgotten it was there or liked holding onto her. Or both.

"But you already paid for lunch, I could atleast help to pay for a little bit." She protested, as began to fidget with the strap on her bag. Making sure it wouldn't be able to snag on anything on their way out of the store. She still felt bad about knocking over that display, not to mention nearly taking down a clothing rack with it.

"I want to." Kou smiled then let go of Minako's waist and pulled out his wallet to pay for the items. It would be the first thing that he got her and he hoped that it wouldn't be the last. He rested his hands over hers and looked into her eyes. "Please."

With Kou at the store with Minako and Aisu at the arcade with Usagi, a shadow decided to send out youma for some fun and exitement.

The first youma, a multi-armed creature with green skin, stands in the middle of the street and reaches its arms out to grab Minako. People scream and run from the streets.

Closer to the arcade, another youma pops out. This one, red skinned, crashes into the window of the arcade.

Lastly, the third youma, a purpled skinned, razer armed monster, appears closer to Suiseki.

((Please give me feedback on how knight powers should be handled. Please let me know what you think. Also, can either one of the senshi happen to be near the park where the third youma just showed up? Thank you.

Here's my thoughts for the moment. It is along the lines of senshi powers feeling/being weakened, roughly to a tenth of normal, which is why the knights are needed in the first place. But I'm not sure how the group wants to handle knight powers becoming useable/awakened. I can simply pick something but I'd rather have some ideas from others before we impliment anything.))

Minako tried to avoid his gaze, but soon sighed as a defeated look formed on her face.

"Fine, you win, but only this once got it?" She said, as she couldn't help but grin. She then quickly made her way outside, as she playfully ran down the sidewalk a little ways from the store. She soon froze though when she heard screams. She slowly glance over her shoulder, and saw just in time a strange creature with mulitple arms reaching towards her. She quickly side stepped out of the way, and slammed her foot down a little to hard as the heel of her shoe broke off. She ended up stumbling a couple steps, as her bag flew out of her arms and was stuck under a nearby parked car. She quickly glanced back towards the youma, with a panicked look formed on her face.

"This isn't good." She said to herself, before quickly making her way towards the parked car. If only she could get her transformation pen, she could transform and defeat this youma. Though how could she when it was stuck in her purse under a car. Today just couldn't get any worse.

Kou smiled at Minako's mock defeat then paid for the items before leaving the store with her, holding hands. When she moved to avoid the youma, he looked back to see what was going on. Something inside of him knew that he'd protect his date no matter what it took. He wouldn't fail her.

"Stay away from her."

He stepped between the youma and Minako, only vaguely aware of her attempt to reach her purse. He quickly moved to attack the youma, drawing on all his training, and quickly found that he was only able to hold his own. Any mistake that he made would likely prove to be a very bad thing for him.

Minako looked over her shoulder to see that Kou was fighting the youma. She had to help him, but her only way of helping him was just out of reach. She quickly scrambled to the otherside of the car in hopes that it would be easier to reach there, but it was still out of reach. She then hit the car in frustration, as she then rolled over onto her side and tried to reach it with her foot. She was able to just barely snag the strap of her purse, and drag it towards her. When it was close enough she quickly opened it, and began to dig through it. She was able to find it buried at the bottom, and quickly pulled out it.

"Venus Crystal Power Transform!" She shouted, as she transformed into Sailor Venus. She quickly jumped ontop of the car "Love and Beauty Shock!" She shouted before kissing her fingertips as she blew a kiss. A golden colored heart appeared, before she moved her arm out infront of her, causing it to form a chain of hearts. It then quickly made its way towards the youma.

It was fortunate for Kou that he'd finally slipped up and was knocked out of the way by the youma. Unfortunately, he landed headfirst into a nearby car and blacked out for a couple of seconds. He'd held the youma off for a few minutes, which had bought Minako the time that she needed.

His conciousness slowly returned as his mind and body sought to protect Minako from whatever it was. It wasn't compulsion or duty but something else entirely.
