"Saotome Saotoshi. This is my home." He looked at the young shinobi. He was kinda puzzled as to why the shinobi was at his doorstep.

"Is there something i can help you with?"

Sonic smiled slighty as the man asked."I want to become a jounin,but as of now I'm only a academy student.I heard rumors of you being a great shinobi so I came seeking a teacher to guide me through my training so that one day I may surpass you and reach my goal."

"Please step back to my dojo. I shall test you to see if you are worthy of my training. More than likely, you shall become my pupil, and that it shall be. So please, follow me"

Saotome had led the child to the dojo in the back of the house, where his dojo is. the boy was seeking training, and wanting to surpass me. But to be honest, that might not happen, maybe, which would make Saotome proud."If you have the skills, i shall make you my pupil. Now i have one question for you. What are your special qualites, what do you specialize in?"

When Saotome returned to the dojo -- this time with a young boy -- Rini glanced over curiously from where she was stretching. Her chakra coils had settled down some, and she could almost feel them starting to slowly replenish, though they would not return to proper levels until she had a good long rest. Another pupil? For a moment, Rini felt slightly jealous, but she quickly shook that emotion away. Most jounin instructors taught teams of three, from what she heard, so why should Saotome not take on another student? Besides, Rini should not care if he did so. She already had two teachers, Saotome making three while her other two were on their honeymoon. Still . . .

Rini studied the boy through the corners of her eyes as she moved toward one of the practice targets. He could not be any older than seven years old and he was already seeking out a teacher like Saotome? When she was his age she was just starting the Academy -- not looking to graduate. Another pang of jealousy struck Rini as she looked away and focused on the target, drawing kunai from her leg pouch. If that boy was some sort of genius, she might have to hurt something -- preferably him, though she probably would not go that far. The threw a kunai, watching as it embedded itself deeply in the heart of the target. She had worked and studied for years to get where she was and was not about to let some kid half her age show her up.

Retaining a calm outward appearance, Rini continued practicing with her kunai and shuriken. Her chakra reserves might have been low, but that was not going to keep her from practicing other skills.

Sonic followed the man inside his dojo and waiting for the so called test of his.As he asked him the question he took a few seconds to ponder the question until he finially took a deep breath in preperation to answer the question."I guss I specialize in everything but I know nothing at the same time."

Rini's right eye twitched as she moved to collect her kunai from the target, having to fight to keep herself from lighting into the boy. That did not prevent her from mentally ranting, however. After all, what kind of answer was that? If you know nothing, then you can't know what your specialty is. You could be absolutely useless at medical jutsu, for all you know. Besides, if you specialize in everything, then you're great at nothing -- a jack of all trades. That would go against the very definition of a specialty -- a focus area -- something you're extremely good at. It is something you devote the majority of your time and energy to perfecting. Rini was gaining a specialty in medical jutsu, though she was also working with ninjutsu and would soon be learning sword-work from Yun.

She successfully kept down a sneer of distaste as she returned to her position and began throwing kunai once more. The boy was right about one thing. He knew nothing.

"If you know nothing, then i shall teach you more than nothing, i shall teach you something. My test is this for you...."He then walked to the end of the dojo and opened up a drawer. In it was a piece of paper. He then gave it to the boy."This is Chakera Paper. It will tell me your chakera element. When we know this, we shall start."He handed the piece of paper to the child. He was wondering if he would be able to learn from him or not.

He looked over to Rini. She was praticing, but watching and judging the boy from afar."Rini, i want you to meet one of your future commerades. He will also be with us when we train."He wasnt going to expect Rini to just agree right away.

As Sonics hands touched the paper small black marks began to form under his fingers.Sonic began to smile as he clearly took after the evil in his father.With out warning the paper began to tear in very sharp lines until there were no more then shreds on the ground and in his hand."Hmm so when it first started it looked like Katon,but in the end with the tears and all I take it that my element is Fuuton."Sonic began to think back to what he had heard about his father and slowly realized he didn't have the same elements, which made him feel slightly down.This was his chance to surpass his father,with a more useful element in battle.

((Sorry it took me awhile to post.It was my moms birthday Friday so I didn't have time after school and football before dinner to post and Saturday I was at the gym like all day))

Nodding, Rini retrieved her kunai and padded over to Saotome's side in time to witness what happened to Sonic's paper. Immediately, her eyes narrowed slightly and the corners of her mouth twitched downward. Six or seven years old, and he was already focusing two chakra elements? Using medical chakra was one thing, but making a piece of chakra paper react in two distinct elemental ways was totally different. From what she had read, most people started with just one element and then it took years for them to master a second at the same level, but this boy . . . he just had to be special.

Rini's jaw tightened ever so slightly. Saotome had called her over to meet him, so she could not be overly rude to the boy. That would probably disappoint her current teacher. "I am Rini Chikongou, medic in training," she ground out tonelessly, not quite looking directly at him. "I look forward to working with you."

Sonic turned his head slightly as he looked over the girl speaking.His smile slowly vanished from his face as his lips began to part letting words out under his breath with out him noticing what was happening.When he finally grasped what he was doing he bowed slightly and held out his left hand in a somewhat friendly manner."Sonic Silver bounty hunter on the rise to the top." He then turned back to Saotome giving him an unimpressed look after looking over the girl.

"I am very suprised at the results of the chakera paper. Looks like i am going to be teaching you some Wind Jutsu. good thing i know a great deal of it. It is up to you to tell me when you are ready to start your training, as for i will be training two of you."He was very interested in the child.

He looked at Rini, and noticed her introduction. He was very happy that she was trying to get to know ther child. I mean, once he had one more student, he would have his very own squad. he always wanted this.

Rini's lips tightened. So he would be training with her after all. Joy. Her eyes narrowed slightly at the unimpressed expression on the boy's face. What had not impressed him? Her? Who was he to judge anything about her? She had not known the boy for too long, but she had already come to a conclusion. She despised the brat. Flattening her features, she turned her attention to Saotome and met his gaze. "If you don't need me for anything, sensei, I'll be working on my senbon throwing."

She turned on her heel and strode back toward the targets, replacing the kunai in her hand with a small box of senbon needles. Senbon were a lot more difficult to throw than kunai or shuriken, but they were much more precise when gotten right. When mastered and paired with her medical knowledge, they would make Rini deadly from a distance. Pressure points were marvelous things.

Still, though, Rini's mind roiled with frustration and annoyance. A small voice questioned the purpose and wisdom behind the emotions. Why was she so annoyed? What was there to be annoyed about? Maybe the boy came from a hard-core shinobi family that taught them at an early age. Rini had not decided to become a shinobi until after she lost her father and brother, when she was about Sonic's age. If he had started training earlier, then of course he would be able to--

Such anger. Or is it fear? Rini's step faltered as the voice from her dream cut into her thoughts. She froze, heart skipping a beat. Yes. Fear. What is it you fear? The genin swallowed thickly, staring straight ahead -- arms limp at her sides. It's not real, she told herself. It's not real. It was just a dream. Just your imagination. There's nothing there. Nothing there.

((lol, it's nothing against you, Ice. I'm just rolling with how Rini, currently, would view the events. >_< She's been going through a bit of an identity crisis, determined to change and get stronger and all that. For her to see someone Sonic's age doing that . . . . rubs her the wrong way . . . oh, and fyi, she doesn't have a demon or anything. The voice thing going on is the first stages of her starting to go insane enough to become a Jashinist . . .))

Sonic turned to watch the girl walk off as he took out a deck of cards.He then began to shuffle them spinning them high into the air as if he was juggling 52 cards at the same time.With out notice the cards landed right back in sonics left hand as he slid his right hand over the deck multiple times so fast it almost made it look like the 52 cards flew out at about the same time.The cards spun around the girl so they didn't hit her as they each stuck into the target she was using.Right in the middle was the Ace of Diamonds like it was placed there for all to envy.Sonic then turned back to Saotome as he smiled."If you wouldn't mind can we start with fuuton jutsu.Even the basic level will benifit me greatly.You see I am great with my hands,and cards."

((Ok ha feel free to cut my left eye if you want ha.The card thing is part of my clan.I have the same hand speed as jounin level shinobi and I have a lot of cards and dice with me.He is a pro gambler and likes to play with his cards,but plz don't damage the cards I don't want to rp getting my cards.))

Neo walks, and finally sees this great house. He is awed by its presence, as he walks inside. He reads the note, and calls "Saotome?!"

He waits for someone to answer, but is too shy to call once again. He sits in front of the house, and there he waits a long while. He takes out a small notebook he always carries around. Usually if he is tested to spy. This time he uses it for poetry to difine the house in his writings. He starts writing while he waits, and looks at the benevolence around.
