"sort of?" he was kinda confused, but hey, who was he to say when she should give her gift. It had always been like that and all. He was now ready to get some of the food, for he was kinda hungry, but as a clone he guarded the gifts and stuff. The clone then looked back at rini.

Luna looked at Hya and then back at Yun, who's mood had suddenly turned depressing and very angry. Luna took the hand of her new hubsand in her own and whispered. "Yun, it is not your fault, not in the least bit. There are evil people in this world, and good, and those who have not chosen their path. You are one of the good, who protect the world from evil, but even saviors need a break sometime. We will talk about this later, not now, enjoy the party." She kissed Yun on the cheek and looked at Hya, she was still glowing with happiness from the previous ceremony. She gave him a big hug and stepped back saying "Well i dont know about you two, but Im getting a drink, this is my party after all." She bowed and walked over to the bar getting a wine glass filled with red wine imported from her old home and walked over to the window where the plant was and the clone of Hya and the young Rini.

As she stepped towards the young genin she said "Well its good to see that my maid of honor showed up for the party." She leaned down and gave Rini a huge hug when something sharp cut through Rini's sleeve and cut her hand. As Luna bled she took a strand of ribbon from her hair and put it around the cut and healed it using her chakra. "There all better, you know you dont need your kunai here Rini-chan, we have plenty of protection here. I dont know if your old enough to drink yet, but you have to try the wine, its tastes amazing."

Rini did not hear Luna's comment about the wine, face pale and eyes slightly wider than normal in an expression of shock and horror. She had felt the snap and heard the tear of paper and cloth -- had seen the bit of blood from the scratch across Luna's hand. It was not a kunai, she thought with deepening horror. Rini had known that this place was secure and had not brought any of her kunai with her. The only thing up her sleeve was --

The genin's heart sank as she shifted away from her teacher and the offered taste of wine, growing even paler -- if that was possible. "I -- I --" She did not know what to say. Her words failed her. Swallowing thickly and feeling tears starting to form, Rini bowed quickly. "I'msorrysensei!" she blurted before turning and bolting away -- weaving through the crowd -- and dashing out of the building. This could not be happening. This could not be happening!

As she raced with all the shinobi speed she could muster, Rini pulled the gift from her sleeve and groaned. The loop of wood had snapped, tearing through the wrapping and no doubt breaking the webbing as well. There was a slight stain of blood on the sharp tip of the broken wood -- where it had scratched Luna. Why why why did everything have to go so wrong?!

Tears clouding her vision, Rini ran as fast as she could away from the cheerful sounds of festivities behind her.

"Thanks you Luna." the real saotome said, and then continued to talk to Yun. The clone then looked at lune."would you like me to assist her, or would you just like me to stay here and let you handle it?"He was kinda worried, because it was not a kunai she had, ti was Luna and Yun's wedding gift.

Yun smiled as his wife comforted him. He then watch the events with Rini occur and then hears Sao. He nods.

"Go to her, Sao."

the real saotome leaves to go after Rini. the clone stays next to Luna.

Melody ran to the church she was so late but she stoped at the entrance of the building. She knew she wouldn't fit in there she had no right to go she haden't talked to luna or yun in so long. She took a deep breathe and opened the doors trying to stay hiden in the shadows as she smiled and luna and yun from the shadows.

She looked at Yun and the clone of Hya, trying to remain calm but tears somewhat filling her own eyes as she quickly tried to wipe them away. "Yun, w-what have I done?" She turned to run after Rini but saw that Saotome had run after her as well, for the first time she did not know what to do. Suddenly through the crowd she saw the familiar face of Melody, her adopted sister, and walked over to the young girl "M-Melody, is that really you? It is so good to see you!" She gave the girl a large hug and then created a clone saying to it "Go after Rini and Sao, but stay hidden." The clone nodded and ran out the door.

Yun, as well, created a clone and ordered it to follow the others. He then walked over and smiled at Melody. He rubbed the top of her head.

"Its been a while. We were wondering where you ran off to."

Melody was shocked as luna huged her. She didn't know what to say she looked at luna trying to to cry she looked so pretty. She smiled at her and stated "Luna-sama you look beatiful." She looked at yun and didn't know what to say so she just decided to say "Hi Yun."

Melody was shocked as luna huged her. She didn't know what to say she looked at luna trying to to cry she looked so pretty. She smiled at her and stated "Luna-sama you look beatiful." She looked at yun and didn't know what to say so she just decided to say "Hi Yun."

Melody smiled at the young girl and said "How have you been? Im sorry it has been such a long since i visited, I have taken on a new medic student and am training her at the Bravenheart dojo past the forests of the mist."

Melody smiled and stated "Ive been fine luna-sama, its all right you haven't visted I can tell you have been busy." "Im sorry I haven't visted you I figured you where busy or away on a mission so I thought I should wait and not disterb you." She huged luna and told her "I missed you big sister." "So when do I get to met your student?" she asked curriously.

Melody smiled and stated "Ive been fine luna-sama, its all right you haven't visted I can tell you have been busy." "Im sorry I haven't visted you I figured you where busy or away on a mission so I thought I should wait and not disterb you." She huged luna and told her "I missed you big sister." "So when do I get to met your student?" she asked curriously.

Luna looked at the door her student had just run out of "God only knows when she will come back. I think I upset her somehow, but I dont know what I did, not even my Byakugan can see into the soul of a human heart." She looked down at Melody "So, have you gone on any difficult missions as of late?"

Melody smiled and told her big sister "No, I haven't Ive been trying to make friends or at least find a guy to become my friend maybe alittle more but..." melody scratched the back of her head nervously "So far its not going anywhere on the friend or guys friend level." She sighed alittle bit trying to still smile.

It took all of Rini's self control to ignore the somewhat sharp looks and hushed, scornful whispers as she walked back into the large room. She was well aware that her . . . exit had not been very lady-like -- almost border-lining an insult in some eyes -- and her current garb was not exactly wedding-worthy either. She did not care, though, and ignored them as she made her way toward Luna. She was done caring.

"Sensei?" she greeted Luna when she finally located her, casting a curious glance at the other girl she was talking to before focusing back on her teacher.
