hmm that is right, but its not connecting me... is that port forwarded on your router/computer/firewall/anything else your comps internet runs through?

I think it would be on my router if anything. I could go hook my laptop up to the modem downstairs and host the server on that.

if the laptop has any security on it enabled at all. jsut disable it. other than that i have no idea why it wouldn't be working now.
