There's a lot more good that can happen from religion then you may think. Personally I'd say more harm comes from TWISTING Faith or when people have a lack of it. When people lack Faith, it can lead to them think there are no consequences on Earth if you are rich and powerful enough. It leads evil corporations to obtain greater power. Then there's those people who say that despite clear teachings saying that murder is wrong, they preach that it's okay.
Also considering you don't bash religion, I've seen you getting pretty heated sometimes when Momi-chan expresses his beliefs. SOME of which I do actually agree with, although I'll admit there's times he's too hardcore even for me <.<;
What I WILL bash religions for, is when they hurt the people they are sworn to protect.

Tenchi Misaki1 sometimes i think you put too much into faith but too each there own *big huggles* Well my faith has gotten me through tough times. It kept me from killing myself when I was in High School, and it's proven itself to me. I've seen the good that my Faith can do. The greatest commandment of all is LOVE Tenchi, to love God and to Love people. To treat others well and to make the world a better place before we die. That is the TRUE essence of what my religion is all about.

Well that's more what the TRUE believers believe. Unfortunately anyone can claim they follow Jesus, and people take them even more seriously if they go to church. Too many people tend to just cut what they don't like, and then paste in what they do like <.<;
