Thank god I had drugs to numb the pain entirely.

Although intentionally I really wanted to wince at the scene that played in my head, I let out a loud chuckle before completely being overwhelmed and dropping my head on his chest. "You're lucky Celty was there, other wise you'd be dead." I mumbled in a deadpanned voice.
"Stupid idiot. Never gonna learn are you?" I asked in a hoarse tone.
