"I remember telling someone long ago that I would become a member of Akatsuki. Didn't think it would happen this soon, though." He gave Lars a smile before fiddling with his glove on the table. 'Don't try and hit it off with these people. You're their comrade, not their friend.' "Don't worry about who I'm friends with." To the other man in the room, it would probably seem like he was talking to himself. Of course, anyone who knew of Brink's existance would know otherwise.

Lars smiled to Haku, removing some of the bangs from in front of his eyes, shifting them aside as his eyes brightened in a bright blue hue. "Yes, yes I am, and you must be Haku Ikeza," he said with a nod, knowing that was true, for sure. Lars could sense a hidden presence within Haku's sword, so as Haku spoke, he wasn't talking to himself, he wasn't crazy. "Pardon me though for asking this but, how do you know of me?...Kleine, right?" Lars answered his own question as he leaned back in his chair. "I'm simply apart of Akatsuki to help him...nothing more, my path remains beside his, always has been always will be," he sighed as he remembered that he had to place his own daughter in a cell like a prisoner, "being apart of the Akatsuki isn't a medal...more of another cross to bear upon this path we both walk," Lars felt dirty, he didn't hate the Akatsuki, but after what he had done to Nakamuro, it hurt him on the inside.

The Rinnegan was a legendary bloodline, and going up against it single-handedly was tricky business. He'd experimented with his power a bit, which was a good trade for having to run. "So...what happened with my dad? He just ran off with that Rinnegan kid. After that...I didn't hear about anything else." In reality...Lucifer envied the Rinnegan. He'd tried so hard to attain power, used so many different means. but in the end, he was so easily defeated by a single user of that eye. It was...infuriating that he still paled in comparison to that eye after all of his work.

It struck him that Amegakure would be the most likely place to hit. If he was correct, they looked at Jinchuriki in a friendly way there so many had most likely taken refuge there. "Amegakure seems like a prime target. However, Kleine is already there, so it would be meaningless for us all to go. I, on the other hand, have to retrieve my partner." Suddenly, a simple clone appeared beside Haku and exited the hideout. 'What a hastle this is all going to become...'

He took both Takahashi and Haku's hand and gave them a soft and gently kiss, chuckling, "my dear Haku and Takahashi, I shall return shortly, see ya," he winked, grinned and then left like a boss.
