☠ Kira Sakura ☠  “Live for the moment..." ====== ☠ ====== " You are a baby because you cant handle pain. You messed up the metal." She said. She was still sitting up. " Hey, can I borrow your jacket again? The blankets are to thin. " She asked him putting her elbows on the side of his bed. She was smiling. To her it reminded her of when she was little, before her dad killed him self. When ever she did some thing she thought was could she would do this... Her mind wondered into the flash back.
~Flash Back~
Kira was about six years old and she had just finished reading one of the harder books in school and she got her grades back. Showing she was doing everything well. Kira ran into her dads room who was sleeping. She didn't mind, Kira sat on her knees, her elbows propped up against the side of the bed, a huge grin on her child face. " Daddy, daddyy!" She said softly shaking him a bit. He grunted and opened one of his eyes. " Look daddy! I am doing good in school. And.. And I finished the book!" She said exitedly. Her dad looked at her once, his face experssionless. He slapped her across the face and then did it once more. " How many times have I told you not to walk me up when im ******** sleeping?!" His voice boomed over her crying....
End of flashback
" Don't hit me." She whispered. Kira blinked and she shook her head as she slid her arms from the bed, her face went from happy to... Well sad. When was he last time she had a flashback? She couldn't remember. " Oh.." She laughed nervously. " Ignore what I just said." She tried to smile but couldn't. " Never mind I will just use the blanket, I can't keep depending on you." Her voice was distant. She pulled the itchy blanket around her as she laid on her side, her back to the bed. She curled up in a ball.

And you bring my h e a r t to its knees. . .  Raphael O'Connor "Oh hush," he muttered grabbing his coat and about to give it to her when she spaced and started acting weird. He watched her for a second confused as she moved around. He stopped though hearing her words and seeing her sad face. He scowled but it wasn't at her, something else made her like this and it made him mad. Raphael looked at her quietly and crawled onto the floor seeing her asleep as he laid his coat across her body. He looked at her calmly before he laid down next to her on the floor draping his warm, injured arm over her adding to the heat keeping her warm. Yet, he didn't sleep again. He kept looking around anxiously for anyone to come near him or attack. And it's killin’ me when you're away,

☠ Kira Sakura ☠ “Live for the moment..." ====== ☠ ====== Kira had her eyes closed for a moment when she felt him place something on her she opened her eyes but stayed still. Next thing she felt was his body against hers. Kira smiled slightly and turned to face him carefully. " If you insist on sleeping with me and keeping me warm then go back to the bed." She was looking at him now. A smile on her face but in her eyes sadness. Her smile couldn't reach her eyes. " So nothing gets in the banage and gets you infected. Also I will be warmer if your under the blanket." Her voice was low even though there was no reason to be quiet, they were the only ones there. " But you need to sleep. You will heal faster." Despite telling him to move to the bed Kira scooted closer to him. Her head rested under his chin, the warmth of her breath raced across his skin. Her feet barely reaching the top of his.

And you bring my h e a r t to its knees. . . Raphael O'Connor Raph looked at her seeing the frown on her face and shook his head. "Alright, just please, get some rest," he said gently reaching up and pulling down his blanket and pulling it over his and her body keeping her extra warm since it was going to drop extreamly cold again. He opened himself up to her body keeping her warm as he closed his eyes deciding he had to sleep. He finally started sleeping after about an hour feeling restless after only sleeping half the night before waking up again. And it's killin’ me when you're away,

☠ Kira Sakura ☠ “Live for the moment..." ====== ☠ ====== Kira smiled gently. Pretending to be asleep. When she heard his breath become deeper she opened her eyes and looked up at him. Admiring his features up close. Kira brought up up on of her hands moving ever so slightly. She traced his collar bone gently not being able to sleep. She had never really slept with some one holding her. Her finger began to move down past his heart, she paused and then slowly moved her hand to his tattoo. Kira stopped there hoping she didn't wake him. At this point in time she was glad that he was with her.

"Aw, that tickles," he said quietly in a whisper waking up and putting a hand over her hand gently. He opened his eyes slowly looking at her before his eyes closed again laying still. He sighed contently with his breathing deepening again to where he was relaxed but not asleep. He loosened his hand over hers resting it on the ground again. He enjoyed her hand on his warm skin relaxing him and promising him that he wasn't alone. Promising there was more to live for than just what was right. And it's killin’ me when you're away,

Kira was about to pull her hand back when she heard him but his hand was over hers. She blushed lightly. " I am sorry for waking you." her voice was low. " It's just... " She looked up at him. " Nver mind. I'll stay quiet so you can sleep." She said sliding her arm around him. His body was warm and it was getting colder. She closed her eyes. " thank you, again." Her voice sounded tired but she didn't feel tired.

{{Its okay~!}} "Its okay, I don't mind. It feels good," he admitted quietly shifting a little so it wasn't putting so much strain on his aching body. He sighed and rested his head on one of his arms falling into sleep again finally needed sleep. He relaxed again breathing deep and evenly. His mind was relaxed with her by him even if he could tell she was stressed about something. Still, her being near helped him. Just as much as he'd kept her safe or helped her, she made it up by saving his life. And it's killin’ me when you're away,

☠ Kira Sakura ☠ “Live for the moment..." ====== ☠ ====== Kira kept her eyes closed but her hearing more alert just incase. They seemed to have bought their story. If they did help then then they could destroy as well. Make faulty products or something. Kira didn't say anything else, she just listened to his breathing. It having a calming affect on her. Her body started to relax more the warmer she got. Kira moved her head so her face was almost covered by his neck, her lips almost touching his skin. She let a deep slow breath. Staying awake seemed impossible. She opened her eyes once only to blink them shut. Kira was about to fall asleep when her reoccuring night mare came. She opened her eyes instantly and slipped out from his grasp the cold slowly creeping onto her. She went quietly to go sit across from him. Kira sat with her knees up looking at him. If she got close to him what would happen? Would he disappear just like every one else?

When she left her side though trying to relax the best he could, but when he went to wrap his arm around her, she wasn't there. He opened his eyes and slowly sat up feeling stiff making him grunt a little bit as he sat up. He looked at her quietly with confusion in his eyes. He yawned and rubbed the sleep from his eyes watching her. "Kira? What's wrong?" he asked quietly looking at her softly seeing her knees up at her chest. He could tell she was nervous about something and he didn't know what. All he knew was that he was worried. And it's killin’ me when you're away,

☠ Kira Sakura ☠ “Live for the moment..." ====== ☠ ====== Kira Looked up at him and smiled a little as he asked what was wrong. " Nothing... Just a nightmare." She said simply. " Past things is all." She looked at down and then crawled over to him. " Hold me again..." She said quietly. She wouldn't tell him what was actually bothering her. The things that were on her mind. Things could change and she didn't need that. It added onto things like stress. " I keep seeing my past..." She said with a sigh. " Like earlier.."

And you bring my h e a r t to its knees. . . Raphael O'Connor Raph looked over at her quietly and frowned. He opened himself up to her and held her against his strong body rocking her softly just trying to sooth her. He kissed her head gently listening to her speak and he sighed hating the idea. "What happened?" he asked gently knowing all to well what it was like to have something haunting him. His shoulder burned and was killing him when ever he slept reminding him of his pain and the fear of what it felt like being sick with the venom leaving him feverish. He shook that memory from his head as his body ached along with the rest of him to be thinking of that. And it's killin’ me when you're away,

Kira looked up at him when he kissed her head. She satyed silkebt for awhile letting him rock her back and forth. She smiled a little bit. " The only thing I do dream is when I was seven or eight. The only thing that ever sticks to me really.." Kira kept staring at him. " He lit the place on fire... Including him self. The screams ans shrieks coming from him..." Kira closed her eyes and shook her head. " I really shouldn't care about some one who didn't care about me right.... But I can't help it..." She said looking back down. " The reason I don't like having partners is because... I think if I get close to some one they will go away to.." She looked at him then to the side.

He was tired, sore, but he would stay up and hold her as long as she needed it. He was a guardian, not just a fighter. He look over at the door hearing a loud noise that sounded like something slamming and he picked his head up for a second and then wrapped himself around her more being more protective. He kissed her forehead gently rubbing her shoulder. And it's killin’ me when you're away,

☠ Kira Sakura ☠ “Live for the moment..." ====== ☠ ====== Kira jumped at the noise and flinched when he kissed her forehead. " You don't know that. Things happen, people change..." She said raising her self up a little bit. Kira sighed as she looked down. " And don't say you know cause you dont. Not unless you know the future..." His words had comforted her. It was nice to hear something like. It was like music to her ears. " Are the kisses really needed?' She wasn't complaing, just curious. He could have calmed her with out kissing her.
