~~ Fox explained what Oikonny had said.
"Oh damn! Like uncle like nephew, apparently. They're both evil, they're both insane, they're both ugly, AND THEY BOTH TAKE SO LONG TO GET RID OF!"
Krystal crossed one arm over her chest, her right hand raised, palm up. "What is this 'bioweapon' he went on about? He said it was a cannon, I think, but not much else.
"I don't know, but I don't want to find out!"
"What about Star Wolf? They came in handy fighting the aparoids."
Fox shook his head. "They bailed out. Lucy, see if there's any sort of strange objects on the outer gravity of the planet. If there is, I reckon it's Oikonny." ~~

Kaimei sighed, taking a step away from the other two as he clendhed one hand before ramming a punch into the wall, a heavy crunch following as the concrete splintered and crunched around his fist. "I don't know what weapon he was talking about, but just the same I doubt it's a good thing for anyone on this planet," he growled. "Already on that, Fox," Lucy said, already starting a scan for an odd readings.

~~ "That's what I'm thinking." Krystal agreed.
"Thank goodness you enherited your father's intelligence, Luce." Fox said, smiling slightly. "Slippy, if you're not doing anything right now-"
"I'll get right to fixing that stabilizer, Fox. Slippy out."
"Okay. So Lucy's scanning, Slippy is fixing the stabilizer, and you and Krystal are down there with that kid, thinking of what to do. I don't get a job?"
"You already did good, Falco. Take a break for a bit."
"Fine by me."
Krystal put her hand on her head, blinking. "Wait....I'm sensing a distress signal....There's a city not far from here...Being attacked."
Fox lowered his wrist, spinning around to look at Krystal. "What?! What's attacking it?"
"I...can't tell. The only brain patterns are very, very faint.."
Fox nodded, pulling out his blaster. "Let's check it out." He jumped off the top of the car, then turned around and extended his hand to Krystal.
"Thanks." Krystal took it, and stepped down from the car. "Although, I really didn't need it."
"What, I can't be polite once and a while?" Fox smirked slightly. ~~

Kaimei cocked his head as he yanked his fist and wrist from the concrete, yanking out a switch as a heavy concrete door rose to reveal a ramp to the surface. He turned as a second door opened, the only sign something was within being twin lights spread far apart. The gunmetal silver-gray and red car drove out with a low hum, the hatch already rising up and back as it slowed to a stop. "Where most companies talked about creating futuristic vehicles... we chose to do more than talk; we built the damn things," he said idly as he leaped into the vehicle. Lucy frowned when she found odd readings that she honestly found disturbing. That can't be right, she thought, running a deep level scan to make certain the scan was correct. "Oh, dear..." she murmured as she stared at the scans; it looked like a massive energy cannon with spires pointed away from the planet. "You aren't going to like this one bit; I picked up one large energy disruption cannon in orbit above that city near your location, Fox... long range scans are picking up two others identical to the first; why there are three, I have no idea... unless the goal isn't destruction...." she said, her voice somewhere between thoughtful and worried.

~~ "Great," said Fox sarcastically when he heard Lucy's report, "Just our luck." He ran down the tunnel(which I'm going to assume they're still in), fast as, well, a fox.
Krystal followed, at the same speed. "The brain patterns are getting stronger. We're going in the right direction." She said.
Fox nodded. "Lucy, pass on that report to Falco for me."
"I heard. This day just keeps getting better and better...." ~~

Kaimei activated a secondary system within the car, letting a smaller pod detach with him inside; the pod was similar to a motorcycle, though the back 'wheel' was actually two placed closely together. He went after Krystal and Fox, thinking what the heck could be going on. "Damn it... that wouldn't be good, especially if that's what he has planned," he muttered. What if those cannons are meant to mutate or change those on the planet's surface, making them effectively mutant soldiers and giving this Oinkonny guy an army seven billion strong, he thought.

~~ "You don't think....Nah."
"What?"
"I dunno. A thought popped into my mind....Maybe Oikonny's using this destruction idea as a distraction. Like, he's trying to lead us away from the real plan."
A moment of silence, except for the beeping mechanics on Falco and Lucy's side, and Kaimei's engine and Krystal and Fox's footsteps on the other side.
"Falco, are you completely certain Peppy didn't suggest that to you?" Krystal asked, amazed.
(No, but he jacked it from Kaimei ;D) ~~

"It is possible the cannons aren't meant to destroy... what if he's trying to recreate an army of some sort?" Lucy said slowly, het tone slightly thoughtful but more disgusted at the idea of mutating or twisting sentient beings into something they were never supposed to be. Kaimei cocked his head as he hit the brakes. "I'll be damned," he muttered; he'd heard the female voice, oddly; he suspected the system in his pod was picking up on whatever frequency Fox and Krystal were using to communicate. Lucy blinked when she heard the deeper voice break in suddenly, intrigued. Could the human they're with somehow be picking up our communications? she thought, interested n the idea.

~~ Fox and Krystal continued running.
"Was that Armor-Boy?" asked Falco.
"If you mean Kaimei, then yes." replied Krystal.
"Yeah, well....I'm going to go check up on Slippy. Make sure he hasn't fallen off and killed himself, y'know?"
"All right." said Fox. He knew Falco didn't trust Kaimei. He wasn't too hot about teaming with the shifter either. Which was reasonable; they'd just met him, and really the only assurance they'd gotten he was good was Krystal's claims. ~~

Lucy frowned as she picked up something heading toward Fox and Krystal at a high rate of speed. "Something's approaching..." she started to warn when she heard a loud and discordant crunch of steel crumpling. Kaimei noticed an odd form charging from a side tunnel and accelerated a bit in time to whip his rear end around in an attempt to slow the massive creature, which looked like some twisted cross between the monster the male survivor had become between the first and second Resident Evil movies and a gorilla; unfortunately for him, his attempt didn't do anything but make it smirk. "Keep going.... I'll slow this thing down if nothing else," he said as he saw the other two moments before the creature rammed into the pod in a metallic crunch, flipping the pod in a couple of barrel rolls before crashing into the wall hard; the layered cover spiderwebbing but not shattering. Lucy winced at the sound of the crumpling metal before she tried patching into the surveillance system. She gasped softly when she saw the creature before she noticed the crumpled land racer pod. The shifter was in that pod, and it looks mangled, she thought, worried for him though she knew Fox and Falco distrusted him at best and outright disliked him at worst. Krystal seems to get along with him well enough, she thought as the covering suddenly slammed off the top of the pod to reveal the shifter, who looked a little dazed to her.

~~ Krystal and Fox stopped, turning around to face the creature. HHowever, when Kaimei told them to keep moving, they nodded and resumed running. Soon, they made it out into the sunlight.
Fox came to a halt, staring back into the tunnel. The noises were still audible to them. "Shouldn't we help him?" He asked. Falco might not trust Kaimei at all, but Fox was at least grateful the shifter helped Krystal. And in any case, he wasn't one to just stand by while people suffered.
"He'll be fine. His brain patterns are still strong. But the two I'm sensing right now are weakening. Let's go!" Krystal grabbed his wrist and the two kept going. At least...I hope he'll be fine. ~~

Kaimei glared at the creature, rising to his feet. The creature growled, then charged at the same time as he darted toward it, his kick barely fazing the creature. He ducked and rolled under its legs as it slammed meaty fists into the floor, raising a small shockwave that splintered concrete for a few feet around it. He twisted as the creature spun, its backhanded blow sending him backward as the tri-bladed weapon altered into a sheild that looked similar to a trident's head for several seconds, effectively blocking the blow though it sent him skidding backward along the floor for several feet. He flipped to his feet as the creature charged, leaping upward as it slammed both hands down again as before, though this time he left a bleeding gash on the back of its right shoulder blade as he twisted in mid flip, the spinning blade catching skin and muscle effectively before he kicked out at the small of its back, sending it hard to the floor on its chin with a crunch; he flipped at the last moment, landing on his feet in a very vulpine stance that looked almost graceful on him.

~~ Krystal and Fox reached the city-- or, what used to be a city. Now it looked like a bomb hit: Some buildings were completely demolished, some with only half of it still standing, while others only had broken windows or a large hole in it's wall.
Krystal followed the brain pattern signals, coming to a pile of rubble, which might have once been a building. "Fox, watch my back."
Fox nodded. He stood next to Krystal, glancing around, ears alert, blaster at the ready.
She digged through the heap, pushing aside chunks of metal and stone.
(Hmmm...What should she find? I've been winging it, honestly x3) ~~

Kaimei grimaced as he stood, dodging aside as the creature charged again, this time leaving a gash along its ribs on the left side with a spinning slice. He leaped back from its return blow and noticed a misshapen scar on the back of its hand, rising up the arm into the dark and oily fur on its arm. "Damn it... Kai," he said sadly, realizing this berserk beast had once been one of his close friends. His eyes narrowed as a low feral growl escaped him as he shifted to the vulpine fox form, the armor strangely expanding to fit the more muscular form as the tri-bladed weapon's blades extended, curving backward slightly like sword blades as they spun with a low humming whine. A hand moved weakly under the rubble, pushing at one of the stones, unaware that help was there. The brunette girl's dark green eyes were dazed and her dark brown hair had come out of its high ponytail on the back of her head, though it was now matted with blood.

~~ Krystal pushed stones away, revealing the girl. She gently pulled her out of the rubble. "Fox, I found someone." said the vixen, before speaking to the girl. "Are you all right?" ~~
