"Tch..."
The cloak figure quickly retaliated, his azure blade a blur in front of him as he swung, knocking the straw away from him, a short burst of blue energy turning to smoke before him. As he stepped forward he saw Kalan making his escape. The figure clenched his blade, stepping out of the circle of straw that lay at his feet, the blade pulsating in his hand as if ready to attack.
The figure was calm, walking steadily after the fleeing man, his breath calm and steady as his eyes peered from his hood. With every few steps, the figure would swing his blade, waves of energy leaving the blade in an arc flying towards Kalan. As he reached Kalan's disposed sword, the figure stopped. His empty hand emerging from the long sleeves of his robe, a white glove covering his skin.
He took hold of his blade with both hands, raising it above his head. The blade began to pulsate a blue aura as the metal shone brightly.
"Hyper Schallwelle"
The man spoke in a language unknown to this land, his dialect and accent very strange as he named his attack. His blade burst into a blue covered aura, his eyes shining through his hood the same color. With a mighty swing he brought his sword down, a massive wave of energy leaving the tip. The wave shot through the empty space between the cloaked figure and the fleeing Kalan. The cobblestone below the energy ripped from the ground as the attack flew forward with mighty speed and force.

Saya pulled her hammer from the ground, launching it into the air for another strike as Mirela's spears launched. Without flinching, the spears pierced the young girl, crimson flying through the air as her hammer fell to the ground, planting itself. Saya stummbled back a step to catch her balance as she looked up at the woman. Her blank expression never changed as she stepped forward, staring down at the spears jutting from her body.
"Several wounds....Damage minimal...Vitals at sixty eight percent..."
The girl spoke quietly to herself, assessing the damage to her body. She slowly reached up, her pale hand gripping a green spear lodged through her shoulder. With a turn of her wrist, the spears throughout her body burst and disappeared from her, her blood leaking from her wounds.
"Processing battle situation......Probability of Victory...seventy percent...."
Saya slowly knelt down, retrieving her hammer. A small sigh left the girl as her emerald eyes seemed to stare through Mirela. With a slight turn of her head, Saya gave a small, polite smile.
"Please forgive me miss...but I have to kill you now."

Kalan continued running glancing back at the figure that seemed to be pursuing him though at a slow pace. Seeing him swing his sword as energy started coming out of it Kalan flinched before diving to the side into a nearby alleyway. He leaned against the wall of it as the energy flew past before peeking his head out only to pull it back in as another went by. "Demons, people with glowing swords," he said ruffling his hair. "I feel like I'm serving under Tsuliria again minus the limb replacements." Once the waves stopped he peeked out of the alleyway seeing the figure grip his sword and raise it above his head. With a deep breath he quickly moved into the open moving directly in front of the figure.
"This should be far enough," Kalan said as he held his hand towards the figure. The straw that he had planted started to shake a little before Kalan pulled his hand back. The straw came up from the earth and flew towards the back of the cloaked figure homing on Kalan's location. His planted sword took on a red color as it started vibrating violently the straw flying towards the figure also taking on a red color. While the man spoke the words Kalan crossed his arms in front of him, a small shield of straw forming in front of him as he spread his feet. Hearing his accent he blinked slightly surprised, during his travels he had encountered very few people with accents. However he found his mind wandering and focused back on the fight. The energy slammed into him destroying the shield and sent him flying back down the street. Kalan hit the ground hard and slid a few feet as his straw landed next to him, some of it burnt and parts of it broken. "Ow.....that...hurt a lot more than I thought it would." Though he said that he kept enough focus to keep the straw from stopping. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Argon stared at the newcomer keeping a moderate amount of force on his weapon as he looked at Strength through the darkness of his hood. Argon remained silent as she spoke his head slightly turning as Inae made her way over to the children. "Thinking about it why didn't I just go first," Nala said rubbing her forehead after Inae spoke. "I'm not your sissy...just stand still all this yelling isn't helping. Since Kalan was weak he's probably dead by now anyway." Hearing Inae's earlier command and watching her summon the woman had gained his attention enough to keep him around. Argon glanced back at Strength before jumping away from her before resting his axe on his shoulder. "If you wish to protect those children," Argon said turning his head to Inae, Nala and Miu. "Along with your master than by all means do so. Of course since you're a puppet." A purple aura circled around Argon as his cloaked fluttered a little bit as he lifted his free hand. "You don't interest me," His foot slammed into the ground the purple energy dissipating from his body as the area under him with dark. A circle of darkness moved along the ground until it was in front of Inae. A medium sized black spike burst out of the darkness as it extended towards Inae's chest. "I won't harm the children but you're a threat," He kept his attention on strength. "Make this interesting for me," ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The tavern owner eyebrows narrowed a little as he stared down into one of the holes as he saw something else climb out of it. "Those aren't demons," he mumbled. Hearing this Reaper turned his attention to the hole to see a human shaped thing climb out of it. The tavern owner remained silent as what he assumed were humans continued to climb out of the hole. It wasn't long before a small army of the humans had climbed out and stood among the demons. They stood together in long lines before turning their entire bodies to face Reaper, the demons moving aside as they made their formation. One human stood in the front of all of them and knelt on one leg causing all the people behind them to also kneel. The tavern owner assumed there were well over four-hundred of them there as he counted their rows. He wanted to see what they looked like however the darkness seemed to hide their forms, only showing black silhouettes of the people. "Since you're not forcing them back into the hole and they're not running from you...it's safe to assume those are your creations," The tavern owner said looking back at Reaper. Reaper grinned and gave a small nod before turning to them. "What took you so long! You missed most of the fun parts!" Who the tavern owner assumed was the leader looked up at Reaper though he still couldn't see their features. "Our apologies master....we were hindered by an unfortunate turn of events," The voice that came from the leader was quiet and dignified. Though it was hard to tell he recognized the leader was a woman. Her voice had a sense of maturity about it and she spoke loud enough over the roars of the demon quite easily, causing him to assume she had done so before. "Ah you passed through Yosliv's territory didn't you? I'm surprised he didn't eat some of you," Reaper said chuckling a little. "You're never ending kindness and concern for our well being bring us much joy master," The tavern owner rubbed his chin surprised there was no malice behind those words. "Well since you're here join in the fun. All of you don't need to go since the demons are already there so separate into the main force," "Of course," The people vanished within the darkness, the leader's eyes went up and met the tavern owner for a moment before vanishing. He blinked swearing he saw a small smile for a brief moment. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Miss Vivian this is bothersome" Vilos said. He watched as the sisters walked towards them, a group of five of them stood in front of Vilos and Vivian blocking their path. Vivian sighed and using her thumb forced her sword slightly out of it's sheath before glancing over at Vilos. One of the sister's body leaned forward as their backs opened up. Purple scaly skin burst out of the creature's back as it revealed it's true form. The sister's head stayed attached as it stood on it's hind legs it's body extending far pass a normal human height as the fingers formed into long black nails. Vilos looked up as the sister towered over them the rib cage of it's stomach showing as it let out a loud roar. The creature cracked it's long neck as it's legs went purple and thinned. Three talon like claws formed on it's feet as it's head turned slightly on it's side. "Go through them," Vivian said placing her other hand on the hilt. The sister crawler opened it's out before a black fireball flew out of it's mouth causing the two to roll out of the way. Vivian and Vilos ran forward as the creatures took on their real forms.

Mirela silently stared on as Saya met her attack. The fact that she continued standing in the end didn't surprise her too much, though. After all, it wasn't like it had been the first time someone could withstand her attacks without flinching. As Saya spoke, Mirela's grip on her bow tightened. It seemed that she would just have to try harder. Realizing that she didn't really have any time to waste, Mirela took a deep breath, not wanting to give Saya a chance to recover any of her strength back. Hearing Saya's final words, Mirela shook her head a bit.
"I'm the one who should apologize, because I don't plan on dying anytime soon. Understand? There are people that depend on me, I can't let them down."
Without wasting another second, Mirela drew her bow across Love's strings once more, readying another attack. The sound of the viola filled the air once more, only to be followed by the same green energy as before. As the melody carried on, varying in both tempo and dynamics, the energy moved around Saya once more. It separated and formed into a dozen tiny roses, suspended in mid-air. Some kept close to the ground, some stayed high in the air while the others remained in the middle.
As Mirela continued her melody, multiple thorny vines shot out from each rose and connected with one another, forming a shimmering ethereal net around Saya. It was then that half of the roses began shining immensely. Not long after that, two more vines shot out from the six that were shining. However, instead of adding to the net, they quickly fired toward Saya instead. Two were aimed at her ankles, two at her wrists. One moved toward her neck while the remaining vine aimed itself at the head of her hammer.
Mirela had figured that if she could immobilize Saya, she would have a higher chance at victory. Thirty percent was better than nothing, but she still didn't like the odds that much. 'Even if dodges the vines, that net is going to explode if she isn't careful...'
"Sorry, I can't let you get away."
--------------------
"A-Auntie Inae!"
Upon seeing the spike extend to Inae's chest, Miu puffed out her cheeks and reached forward. The child grabbed onto Inae's arms and quickly pulled her back with enough force to take them both down to the ground. Miu made sure to keep Inae down until the spike passed over them. She then glanced up at Nala, only to form her lips into a small pout once her words had finally settled within her mind.
"What do you mean you're not my sissy? Daddy is my daddy, and you came with him, so you're my sissy."
Rolling out from underneath Inae, Miu rose to a stand and adjusted her hat before dusting off her orange dress before finally bringing her attention to Argon. "Hey! Mister Meanie! Leave my Auntie Inae alone! She'll kick your b-oomf!"
Inae removed her hand from Miu's mouth, having gotten up not long after Miu had. "Quiet." She narrowed her eyes a bit, keeping her attention locked onto Argon. "Nala, take Miu a safe distance away from here, but make sure that I'm still able to see you. Even if he said he isn't going to hurt either of you, let's not forget that he isn't the only threat around." She shook her head before walking away from the two and standing a small distance behind Strength. She thought back to Argon's words before folding her arms across her chest, letting out a small chuckle as a sly smirk crossed her lips.
"Me? A threat? Don't waste my time! I'm only a threat to you as long as you continue to be a threat towards me. However, someone as idiotic as you must have a bit of trouble comprehending that, hmm?"
Inae reached up and brushed a bit of her bangs out of her face before lightly taking hold of her chin.
"Strength!"
"M'lady?"
"You heard the man, be sure to make things interesting for him."
"Yes, M'lady."
Strength stood her ground as she brandished her rapier, her eyes locked onto the darkness beneath Argon's hood. The woman stood proud, looking as if she had been determined to succeed. Strength shifted her stance a bit, determination burning within her eyes.
"Should you attack M'lady again, your defeat shall be delivered swiftly and easily. However it seems that she's given you a choice, in which you should be thankful for. Either leave her presence or accept your death. The choice is yours, choose wisely."

The cloaked man rested his blade upon the cobblestone, his breath slightly staggered as he attempted to catch his breath. A small smirk crossed the man's pale face under the shroud of his hood as Kalan flew back, slamming into the ground. As he slowly lifted his blade, it's shimmering metal turning black as he began to step forward.
"You've given a good fight my friend, but it's time i ended th-"
The man was cut short as he gave a small cough, blood splattering on the ground before him. A wince left the man as his hand reached down to grip the straw sword buried in his leg. His cloak clung to his body as the bits of straw jutted from his back, blood staining the fabric.
"Damn it..."
The figure shouldered his blade then leapt high up onto the wall that separated the two.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Saya's vivid eyes slowly closed as Mirela's rose assault closed in on her. Her hand gripped tight on the hilt of her hammer as she slammed a foot into the ground, four giant pillars of stone shooting upwards towering over the girl. Her emerald eyes shot open as the stone tripped the explosions around her, causing her cloak to dance wildly around her. As the vines hit her limbs, she gripped her hammer tighter, the four pillars slamming together, encasing the girl.
The cloaked man landed atop the wall of stone, his breath staggered as his blood exited his body.
"Saya, tactical retreat, we're reporting in."
"Yes sir....retreating..."
The ground began to shake violently as the cloaked figure jumped and vanished into the shadows. The pillar shook wildly before exploding, Saya nowhere to be found. The rubble flew quickly in all directions, breaking through the wall and nearby buildings.

Kalan let out a sigh of relief seeing the man retreat before he leaned against a nearby building and caught his breath. He brought his hand to his head as his felt his vision get blurry for a moment before he shook his head to try and get rid of it. Using that much energy in an already weakened state took more of a toll than he thought. Kalan moved off the wall as he heard a loud explosion in the distance. He started to go in the direction of the explosion worried that might be where Mirela was. He started to run but stopped as a crawler flew past him before slamming into the long large wall. He looked down at the crawler which let out a small roar before going still, a giant hole in the creatures chest. He turned to where the crawler flew from to see a pair of glowing red eyes staring at hm through the darkness of the alley. "Who's there?" Kalan asked allowing a piece of straw to fall into his hand. The figure raised their hand facing their palm towards Kalan before a small stream of red energy hovered in front of Kalan. Kalan blinked before the red stream lit up and exploded sending him flying back into the wall. He grit his teeth as he hit the wall but landed on his feet before meeting eyes with the concealed figure again. "Don't fear...I have no intention of killing you. The figure spoke remaining in the darkness as Kalan drew a straw sword into his right hand. Though he was only going off her voice he assumed she was female. Surprisingly her voice was gentle and she seemed polite for someone trying to blow him up. "Not in your current state, that would be impolite. However I cannot speak the same for Mirela." Kalan felt a chill run up his spine before turning toward the wall remembering the explosion. He turned back to the figure before jumping to the right avoiding a stream of energy that hovered in front of him. The stream detonated before the figure faded back into the darkness her eyes vanishing as well. "We'll meet again Mr. Valadres," the woman said her voice echoing before fading away. Kalan waited until he was sure the woman had left before turning and running towards the explosion hoping to catch up to Mirela. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nala didn't respond to Inae or Miu only crossing her arms as she continued to regret not running off when the opportunity arose. Seeing Inae was going to fight Argon and serve as a temporary distraction Nala walked over and took hold of Miu's arm before pulling her away from the scene. Since there was a good chance Inae was going to die seeing as a child had saved her life moments before, she decided to listen to her request. "Tarot cards sell for quite a lot with the right buyer," Nala mumbled as she continued to lead Miu away. She stopped nearing the alleyway she was hiding in before crossing her arms as she looked at Miu. "I'm not your sissy," Nala said closing her eyes. I have no desire to be involved with such low forms of life." Nala leaned against the wall and closing her eyes crossed her arms . "Unlike the others I don't care for you. So watch yourself." With that said Nala went silent as she waited for Argon to finish hoping to loot what remained and be on her way.
Argon watched the two his head moving slightly back and forth as the two spoke to each other. He rested his axe on his shoulder as Strength spoke to him informing him of his choices. A very slight chuckle escaped from him when she finished speaking before he held his gauntlet hand up, the palm of his hand facing his face. "Very well then," Argon said lowering his arm. A burst of violet energy exploded from his body as he brought his axe off his shoulder as four dark holes started to appear on the ground around him. "I will engage you imitation, however let me press a question onto you. If you have enough free will to make such a decision. He turned the large axe over in his grip holding it backhanded with ease before spreading his feet apart slightly. "You can protect yourself...but can you protect your master as well." Argon made a motion with his hand causing a circle of darkness to appear on one of the buildings before a drill like spike flew at Inae from her left side. Argon rushed forward after throwing out the spike before bringing the axe down diagonally towards Strength shifting his footing so he could easily move into a second strike if necessary. "Let's see how well you can handle yourself puppet." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The ground seemed to rumble as the sound of metal echoed through the street as a large hulking figure made it's way towards Mirela. It's body was covered in darkness but it towered over most of the lower demons, especially the rebirths. The figure moved into the light as it neared Mirela revealing it's appearance as it continued it's way towards her. The figure was in a full suit of armor covering his entire body including his face. The armor was a dull silver and had a strange design on it's front consisting of curved lines that stopped near his breastplate. There was an additional armor attached to his waist that extended out into a separate metal mid sized cloak. He had spikes on his shoulder plates with a large cape attached to his right and left shoulder that fluttered as he came to a stop a few feet from Mirela. He was gripping something in his right hand, and upon closer look he was dragging a transformed crawler by it's skull. He hurled it to the side before a low chuckle came from the iron clad man. "Well look at this a survivor amidst this despair. We can't have that can we?" The armored man slammed his fist into the palm of his hand as he chuckled to himself before making a beckoning motion to Mirela. "Come young lady. Allow me to offer you a permanent escape from this turmoil. Do not fret for I shall send others after you to keep you company. The name Arvis shall be whispered in the underworld. I'll allow you to make the first move as it will be your only one."

Mirela seemed to be a bit relieved that Saya had retreated, but that wasn't enough to calm her nerves. She still didn't know why things were the way they are now, and that bothered her. The woman let out a small sigh of relief, thinking that she had earned herself a break, however that wasn't the case as the sound of the metal reached her ears. As the source of the clanking came into her field of vision, Mirela couldn't help but feel waves of intimidation pulse through her body. Upon hearing his name and his offer, a light chuckle escaped her lips. She had simply grown tired of any further interruptions.
"You know, as much as I appreciate your offer, I'm going to have to decline. You see, I'm not trying to escape this turmoil. I'm trying to stop it. So, unless you're somehow involved with starting it, we have no reason to fight."
Mirela then removed her bow from Love's strings, pointing it in Arvis's direction.
"However... If you really insist on fighting me, be warned that you won't be able to stop me from returning to my loved ones. I've put up with enough interruptions. I may be a patient person, but my patience is beginning to wear thin."
Returning the bow to Love's strings, she stared at her opponent intently, determination burning in her eyes. She didn't want to admit it, but she was starting to feel a bit tired. It had been a long time since she last used her power, so even though she hadn't been fighting for very long compared to what she had experienced before, she had to get used to things again. At the rate that things were going now, she didn't want to completely tire herself out in case things got worse.
"If you're sure that you want to fight me, you make the first move."
--------------------
As Nala pulled Miu away from the fight, her attention failed to wander. Her eyes had become locked onto the fight. She still hadn't quite gotten used to the idea of seeing her 'Auntie' Inae fighting alongside a large chested woman, but she was a bit awestruck by it. That sense of wonder seemed to fade after Nala finished speaking to her. Unfortunately, her words had just gone in one ear and right out the other, so the small child smiled a toothy grin, showing cute little dimples on her rosy little cheeks.
"Huh? Sissy, did you say something~?"
A small giggle left her lips. "Auntie Inae is gonna kick Mister Meanie's butt, so I wanna wait for her~!" Miu turned her gaze back to the direction of the fight in the distance, but a thought kept nagging at her childish mind, causing her nose to wrinkle a bit. "But what about Daddy and Momma? We gotta find 'em, don't we? What if they're hurt?? I don't want 'em hurt! We gotta make sure they're okay!"
She paused just for a moment, only to pound gently on her head while she shook it back and forth repeatedly before finally turning toward Nala and stomping her foot, throwing her arms a small ways behind her back. "What should we do, Sissy? Wait for Auntie Inae or go find Momma and Daddy?"
--------------------
"Strength, don't let him provoke you!"
Inae called out to Strength as her eyes quickly darted to the left just in time to see the spike flying toward her. With a slight chuckle, she hopped back a step, watching as the spike flew right past her, barely grazing her front. "A little close, but I'm still here. Take him down, Strength!" The fortune-teller gently brushed her bangs out of her eyes with a slight scoff before pulling another card from her pouch, keeping her guard up just in case another attack was fired her way.
Strength very swiftly and gracefully moved out of the way of Argon's attack, ducking down and to the right. "Yes, M'lady." Her voice was calm, despite the situation. She then quickly rushed forward, stopping behind Argon while leaving a small space between them. "M'lady's safety and well-being comes far before my own. I serve to protect her and to carry out her desires as long as the reason is noble and fitting. If I had to, I would lay down what little existence I have to fulfill my duty."
She turned on her heel, and with a raised rapier, charged forward towards Argon, keeping her blade steady as she moved. Her eyes narrowed as she focused on her opponent. Her intention was to pierce him to the right of his spine, directly below his ribcage. In her mind, she knew that an attack from behind wouldn't be entirely effective, but she had taken her opponent's weapon into consideration. Even if this didn't finish it, Strength had hoped that she had given herself enough time to maneuver away in case of a counter-attack.
"It won't be long before you become part of the ground M'lady so graciously walks on!"

Loud explosions rang out over the city as the citizens fought to survive the demonic onslaught. The cloaked figures flew the streets of the city, decimating anything that stood in their way. Battle after battle began as the night raged on, the hoards of demons seemingly endless.
In the abandoned building, the three 'heroes' sat, silent as the screams and bangs from outside filled the room. Hikari sat quietly, her eyes closed as she tried to focus on regaining her strength. Deep within her, she could feel it, a small flicker of light, like a flame ready to be snuffed out. She tried everything she could think of to re-ignite that power.
"We can't stay much longer...soon there won't be anyone to save."
Sora stood making her way to a nearby window, the dim light barely illuminating her soft face. Her cold eyes stared down at the streets below, the sea of demons devouring anything in their path the only thing in her view. A small sigh left her lips as she stepped away from the light, leaning against a wall.
"It's no use...I can't use my power...I've tried everything for the past hour."
The two females went silent, Sora's eyes peering through the darkness.
"Idiot...why the hell would someone give you a power you don't even know how to use, then expect you to save the world? It's the biggest joke i've ever heard of...."
Sora lifted off of the wall, her sword flashing for a moment, appearing in the palm of her hand. With a small "tch" she headed for the window, opening it slowly.
"I'm going on ahead, sit here and die for all I care."
Without a word, Sora leapt out of the window, down into the streets below. Her blade shimmered as she slammed it down into the crowd below, sending a wave of demons up into the air. A blue shimmer filled her eyes as her cape flew back behind her, her feet slowly rising off of the ground. With a swift motion, Sora shot up, her blade flashing as she sliced through the air-born demons.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hikari sat silent, giving a glance to Saken every now and then. She didn't know what to say, as if her words had no meaning. Sora was right...how was a girl who couldn't fight adequately suppose to tackle a horde of demons and safe a deity?
"Is this it? You're giving up already?"
Hikari's eyes slowly shut, the figure of the masked man staring down at her within her mind's eye. His hands stayed concealed within his jacket pockets as he stood high above her.
"You know how to use that power, you've done so many times before. All you have to do is call upon it."
"But how...I don't even know the full extent of it all or how it even works."
"You really are a helpless half aren't you? The light is as much a part of you as you are to it."
Hikari's eyes flew open as the figure disappeared.
"...other..half?"

Saken remained silent as Hikari and Sora spoke keeping his eyes closed, trying to ignore the two. However it was difficult to relax with the two of them talking and the screams outside. He opened one eye as Sora jumped out of the window before he rubbed the side of his head. He noticed Hikari looking over at him but remained silent as he started to wonder if the demons would invade the building after seeing Sora leave. If she wanted to run and get herself killed that was no concern of his, there was nothing between the three of them that really bound them together. He looked over at Hikari as she started talking to herself before he stood up and made his way over to the window before looking down into the demons. "How long are you going to talk to yourself?" Saken asked as he rubbed the side of his head. "Instead of standing here worrying about not being able to summon that light of yours you could be punching things." Saken allowed his darkness to surround his body as he watched the demons continue to fill the streets. "If standing around isn't giving you an answer go and relieve some stress, there's enough to beat on out there. That kid will end up getting herself killed facing that horde alone. Not that it really matters as I expected the both of you to die anyway." Saken looked over at Hikari before glaring at her. "Feel free to stay here and think all you want," he said before turning back to the window. "No way am I dying and proving that old hag right," Saken said more to himself then Hikari. "When you figure out your answer I hope it's in the stomach of one of those things." With that Saken jumped out of the window and down into the demons below, his darkness blowing the demons away as he landed. Building light into his fist he slammed it into a carrier's face before kicking it into feeder crushing it in the process. He turned and grabbed a crawlers skull as it leaped at him before slamming it into the ground. He stepped on it's neck with with his foot before building darkness into his hand and blasting it close range. "Annoying little thing." He looked up at Sora as she fought the demons in the air, his attention gathering at the demons around him as he slammed his fist into his palm. "Guess I get the one's on the ground then." Saken ran forward slamming his glowing fist into the demons causing sparks of light to flash as the demons screeched and were torn apart by the bursts. He slammed his knee into a caller stomach before grabbing it's eye and ripping it out of it's back. He moved behind it and wrapped it around the caller's neck. "Now this is what it's all about!" Saken exclaimed throwing the caller into an approaching crawler. He looked up as a handler made it's way towards them and started to look for a way to reach it. However he stopped as three large claws marks flashed over the handler before it split apart into three halves, crashing into the ground below. Saken held his arm up to shield his eyes from the dust as he tried to find the attacker. He caught a dark figure as the dust cleared but couldn't identify it before it faded back into the darkness.
A feeder hopped into a sister crawler corrupting it before it let out a loud screech, Black spots started to appear on the purple skin of the sister crawler before it's black beady eyes flashed red for a moment. The sister flew high into the air with a pair of clear wings with purple edges on it. The sister crawler closed in on Sora as regular sister crawlers drew closer to Hikari. The sister crawlers started spitting balls of hellfire at Sora trying to knock her out of the sky. The corrupted sisters neck swelled before it launched a medium sized ball of black fire at Sora behind the others.
The west wall to the building the three were residing was torn apart as a crawler poked it's head in and looked at Hikari. Digging it's claws into the wall it crawled on the wall until it made it's way towards the ceiling. It started to make it's way towards Hikari, a low growl emitting from it as it got closer. Dust would fall from the ceiling every few steps the creature took. Black saliva started to leak from it's mouth as it grew closer to Hikari. Crawlers started to climb around the building looking for entrances as the main crawler cracked it's neck before leaping at Hikari. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kalan slowed down a bit as he came across the giant hole in the wall. He stopped and looked into the hole to see Mirela on the other side with her violin out. "Oh thank goodness," Kalan said putting his hand over his heart. Mirela was alright at least, though her attention seemed focus on something. He waved from the other side of the hole trying to get Mirela's attention. "Mirela are you alright?!" Kalan started to step into the hole but stopped hearing a large roar. He turned to see what it was only to see a Handler's tongue before he was scooped into it's mouth. Arvis looked up at the carrier as it flew away overhead with a screaming Kalan inside of it into the distance. "You must be willing to welcome the end to have me attack first or perhaps it's fear," Arvis took off a chunk of his armor off only to have it fill back in. He took a step forward before hurling the piece of metal at Mirela's head. "Dodge it if you can peon! Hahahahahah!" No one can dodge my attacks! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Argon axe missed causing it to slam into the ground before he glanced back as Strength spoke to him answering your question. He continued to look back at her in silence before she rushed toward him. Argon turned his body and raised his gauntlet in an arc colliding it with Strength's rapier causing sparks to fly off it as he barely deflected the attack. He jumped away not wanting to leave himself open for a counteract before his eyes glanced back at Inae. Strength was no longer standing in front of her causing him to chuckle from beneath his hood. "Ah look at that, your master is open," Argon quickly rushed forward gripping his axe with both hands before swinging his axe in a wide arc above his head before bringing it straight down towards Inae. A dark hole opened on the wall near the building right behind him but no spike came out.
Nala shook her head as she squeezed the bridge of her nose finding her headache growing at just being near Miu. She closed her eyes as Miu spoke to her trying to resist the urge to stab the little girl in front of her. Nala started to move her hand towards her dagger but stopped as Miu asked her what to do. She looked back towards Inae in silence before she looked back at Miu. "There's no point in trying to find the dead," Nala said crossing her arms. "Stop with this delusion that those two are alive, it pathetic." Nala looked over at Miu before looking back at the horde of demons that continued to assault the town. "Stay here with Inae, I'll bring Kalan and the pig's heads back to prove they're gone." Nala walked out of the alleyway and into the village keeping to the shadows. "I'll take getting eaten over spending one more minute with that annoying girl."

Mirela had kept her attention on Arvis, watching him very carefully. She had been in the mindset to where she knew she couldn't make any mistakes, and was ready to fight, however all of that concentration vanished as a familiar voice reached her ears. "Kalan...?" Mirela turned her attention from Arvis long enough to see Kalan scooped up into a demon's mouth and carried away, causing her face to lose all traces of color. "K-Kalan! Kalan!" Tears quickly filled the woman's eyes, and they threatened to spill over as she bit down onto her lip, causing a light stream of blood to trickle down her chin. Despite how badly she wanted to kill the demon that ate Kalan, she knew that she wouldn't be able to do that without taking care of the situation at hand first. Mirela wiped the blood from her lip and chin before she went to shift her stance back into playing position. However upon seeing a piece of armor fly toward her, Mirela crouched down toward the ground, holding up Love and her bow above her head in an attempt to shield herself, allowing the armor to go right over her head. Rising to a stand, Mirela regained her composure, moving back into playing position. "Is that really all you can do?" She shook her head. "I was expecting something more along the lines of mimicry or inhuman strength... Something like that." A small sigh escaped her lips. "Hell... Even straw is better than that... Whatever it is that just was..." She muttered the last part to herself. "Not very impressive." Mirela drew her bow across Love's strings as she prepared her attack. The melody was fast-paced, but seemed to flow smoothly throughout the chaos. Her bow began to glow a pale green as green energy began to form in the air around her. The energy drifted toward the ground and began to move toward Arvis, and eventually, a large area beneath him was covered with it. As Mirela shifted into a lower key, more energy started to form along the ground, only this time it began to seep through the cracks in the street. Mirela figured that with all of that armor, he wouldn't be able to move very quickly. She wanted to end this fight as quickly as possible in an attempt to conserve her strength, so as Mirela brought the melody to its climax, she tightened her grip on her bow. Around the edges of the circle of energy, thirty spears shot up from the ground, forming a wide cage around Arvis. 'Here we go..' Taking a deep breath, Mirela abruptly brought the melody to a stop and braced herself. All of the energy that had formed seemed to glisten before finally detonating. The explosion started from the outside of the circle and slowly began making its way toward Arvis. It tore up the ground beneath it, tearing deep beneath the surface due to the energy that had seeped into the street. As the energy tore into the ground, the cage of spears failed to detonate. Instead, they broke apart into a gentle storm of petals, slowly drifting to the ground and causing small explosions, mixing in with the main part of her attack. Mirela knew that Arvis had time to get away, and that if her attack even hit, it probably wouldn't do much damage. It didn't bother her much though, considering that the aim of her attack was not to harm, but to create a hole in the ground large and deep enough to give him a hard time climbing out. "Sorry... But I really can't waste any more time."
--------------------
Inae shook her head a bit seeing that Strength's initial attack failed. As Argon ran forward, a slight smirk came upon her lips. Gripping the card in her hand, Inae brought it up before her and spoke very calmly, as if she lacked any trace of fear within her blood. "Tarot 0 - The Fool." As these words left her lips, purple mist began to form from the ground directly in front of her. Within just a few brief moments, a purple figure shot up from the ground, formed completely out of the same mist as a distorted cackle followed. Inae reached forward and gently struck the mist with the card in her hand, causing a bright purple light to emit from the mist, only to fade shortly after. When it faded, in place of the mist was a tall man with long, light blue hair that went down to his lower back with red and green eyes. He was dressed in a purple and black uniform, wearing striped sleeves, a black vest with purple puffy pants and point shoes with bells on the tip. He held out his hands in front of him, causing a large, purple and black striped shield to form that was decorated with hearts, spades, clubs, and diamonds. "Ehehehehehe~!" His voice was shrill and lacked seriousness. His shield had formed just in time to block Argon's attack from harming Inae. As the two collided, purple mist slowly began to stream out from the shield, however it kept its shape. Fool playfully poked his head above the shield and cackled a bit. He stuck his tongue out at Argon, as if he had been teasing him. "You won't be trying that again." A light chuckle escaped Inae's lips as she took a few steps back. To anyone that didn't know her, it would seem that she was getting a bit overconfident. However, to anyone that knew her well, she was just having a bit of fun. Most people take Inae as a very overconfident person. Seeing that Argon's attack had been stalled, Strength quickly tried to assess the situation. She knew that her previous attack had failed because he had deflected her rapier with his gauntlet. She also figured that he would simply deflect her attack once more if she were to try again, but Strength knew that now would be a good time to do it. Strength ran forward once more, rapier at the ready. She quickly drew her rapier up in a small arc before bringing it back down diagonally toward his neck. Even if her attack failed, she knew that there was a good possibility that Inae would remain safe with herself and Fool protecting her.
--------------------
Miu folded her arms with a pout as Nala walked off. "Momma and Daddy gotta be alive. They just gotta be." Glancing back at toward Inae, Miu giggled happily. "Auntie Inae's kickin' butt~!" Thinking that Nala would have trouble looking for Mirela and Kalan, Miu happily hurried off in the direction that Nala had gone off in. "Sissy~! I'll help you look~! They're not dead so they could be anywhere~." The small child smiled happily as she hummed to herself, looking around for places her 'parents' could possibly be. "Momma! Daddy! Where are you~?"

The walls began to crumble around Hikari, the demons slowly closing in on her. Her eyes, empty and stoic, stayed down towards the floor. The words 'Half' repeated over and over in her mind as her body sit limp.
"Just call upon it......"
The words rang out in her mind as the air in the room seemed to be sucked out. Deep within Hikari, a small white flame flickered, it's light surrounded by darkness deep within her soul. The light that dwelled deep within Hikari was slowly dimming out as she felt her body go limp.
"call upon it...."
The flame pulsated as the words echoed through her psyche, the crawler now in the air lunging at the girl. As the other crawlers flooded into the room, time seemed to crawl to a stop around Hikari. Her heart began to pound in her chest as she felt something building up inside her, a burning sensation filling her chest. Her breathing became heavy as the demons inched closer and closer.
Outside, Sora continued her attack, using her shining blade to deflect the shots of hellfire that now filled the sky around her. As she slashed at the last demon she had sent flying, her feet had planted into the now crumbling building before her, her body twisting around as she kicked off, launching herself down into the crawlers below. Sora's lifted her blade parallel to her body, it's shimmering metal beginning to glow as well as her deep blue eyes.
"I didn't think I'd have to do this so soon, but desperate times..."
The tip of Sora's Blade began to shine brightly as a small seal formed around the tip, spinning quickly around it. Sora took a deep breath as she neared the ground.
"First Gate of the Heavens! Tonbogiri!"
As Sora finished the chant, she thrust her blade forward, the spinning seal growing significantly in size. A bright light shot from the seal as a loud click rang out, Sora's "key" piercing the center of the seal just as she hit the ground.
A large blast of smoke filled the area as cracks of corrupted light energy arced through the clouds. Slowly the smoke lifted, revealing shadows within it. The Sisters let out high pitched screeches as a small figure emerged from the smoke.
Sora slowly stepped out of the white smoke, her hat covering her eyes. In her hand, she gripped a large spear, it's blade separated from the hilt by a ring of gold, two small wings resembling that of a dragonfly's on each side.
"Tonbogiri....the legendary spear said to have sliced a dragonfly, just by touching it. How will you fair I wonder?"
The spear crackled with corrupt light as Sora brought her other hand to the hilt, pointing the blade at the Sisters, a small gleam in the girl's eyes.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hikari was now surrounded as the demons closed in on her. Screams shot out as the crawlers piled atop the girl, their claws slashing wherever they could. Hikari's body pulsed as the pain of being devoured washed over her, the daggers that were their claws bore into her skin as she slowly began to flicker.
Hikari's eyes opened as she stood in a world void of anything, just darkness. She had seen this world before, she knew it's meaning as if it were engraved into her mind.
"Is this how you're going to die? Devoured by those things?"
Hikari turned around to see the masked figure once again. His footsteps were silent as he walked slowly towards the girl.
"You have the power to destroy the heavens themselves, yet you choose to be eaten by lowly demons. Perhaps Birth was wrong in choosing you to succeed the true envoy of light."
"You mean my father?"
A small laugh echoed out through the silence as the masked man stopped before the girl.
"Jazz Kobayashi, The Demon of Light, the Angel of Death, Birth's Envoy of Light. The title doesn't really matter, only his actions. If you want to believe you could be such a man's daughter then who am I to stop you? I'm just a piece of your soul after all."
Hikari turned as if to walk away but stopped. Her fists clenched as she took a deep breath before speaking.
"Help me...Help me become stronger..."
A small grin formed on the masked man's face as he let out a small chuckle.
"So...You are calling on me?"
"....Yes"
The darkened world around them slowly began to crumble as the masked man slowly raised his hand to his face, pulling the mask from it.
Beams of light began to shine through the pile of savage crawlers as Hikari's body shined brightly. With a flash, the crawlers were sent flying backwards, disintegrating as the light consumed their body. Hikari emerged, her body shimmering as the light within her now exploded through her.
The girl rose to her feet as the building began to fall to pieces around her. Hikari's eyes opened, her pupils now shrunk as her eyes filled with light, a small smirk coming over the girl's face. Her hands flashed for a moment as two daggers of light appeared in her hands, the blades curving behind her slender figure. Chains slowly coiled around her sleeves as they attached to the blades, emitting a flash as they reached her shoulders, solidifying around her arms.
Broken soul of the angels, accept your fate and banish the armies of hell. The words seemlessly emerged from her lips as she leapt out of the building, down into the streets below.

(Profiles updated)
Saken kicked a crawler away before he noticed a bright light in the distance causing him to turn. He noticed Sora do some kind of strange thing with that weird weapon of hers before she vanished from view in smoke. He turned fully towards her wondering if she had been eaten. Seeing her move into view answered his question, and seeing her carrying a spear apparently called Tonbogiri made him ruffle his hair. The light around it had a strange feel to it, he could see it was light but something else was there he couldn't identify. He rubbed the side of his head confused to what was going on when he noticed another bright light in the building. He noticed Hikari jump out of the building where the light had come from before his eyes widened. The light coming from her body made his darkness flicker until it started surrounding his body. He clutched his chest seeing the chains wrapped around her sleeves before he found it was getting hard to breath. "Hah....hah...." He grit his teeth and closed his eyes as his darkness tried to consume him. The demons seeing he had stopped started to draw closer to him before leaping at him. Saken opened his eyes before letting out a low growl as darkness surrounded the ground around him. The expanding darkness wrapped around the demon's body with dark lines before pulling them into the still expanding shadow. A dark aura appeared around his body, bits of dark energy hovering around him only to dissipate as it reached the top of his head. "Now they decide to get serious," Saken mumbled as he looked over at Hikari. "Consume....consume that light Saken....devour it!" a strange voiced echoed in his mind. Saken put his hand over his face as black orbs hovered around his body firing darkness at the demons around him that still tried to attack. "Not yet..." Saken said lowering his hand. He flexed his hand before shoving one hand into his pocket, letting his other arm hang at his side. "Now shut up and help me kill these things." More orbs appeared behind Saken as he ran forward into the demons. Handlers flew through the air before they opened their mouths causing more demons to pour out into the streets near the three. Saken watched as a feeder jumped into the handler, causing it's eyes to take on a red color. Demons with weird markings started to fall out of the handler's mouth falling into the crowd below. Crawlers with wings on their backs, sisters with an extra head growing out of their chests. Carriers were spitting out other carriers and feeders while rebirths started to close in on the three. "Keep em coming. I'll just keep breaking them apart!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Arvis remained still as the green light started to surround him, partially because he was surprised Mirela had dodged his attack. He crossed his arms trying to tune out her playing before he moved his hand to his chin. His attacks were unavoidable, dodging them was a feat even he had trouble doing. Though this was only Arvis' opinion, and not actual factual but he refused to believe she had dodged his attack. He was drawn out of his thought as Mirela stopped playing, his attention moving to the spears around him. "When did those-" his words were cut off as everything exploded around him causing him to raise his arm to shield against it. Arvis hulking figure vanished within the dust after the explosion, only a low groan the indication he had taken the attack. When the dust cleared Arvis body was no longer within view, though the hole from the attack was there. "Annoying wench," Arvis fell from the sky before landing on the ground, placing his hand down to steady himself and causing the cobblestone to crack under his weight. "My armor is like a second skin to me! Not only am I indestructible, but I am agile as well! Hahahaah!" Arvis laughed turning his head to the sky before his body fell forward, as he hit the ground face first. His arms spread out as he hit the ground, his laughter fading into confusion as he realized he was in an enormous amount of pain. Crimson poured out of his armor as his hand twitched at the pain flowing through his body. "I-impossible! I am invincible. How could something the color of something as frail as grass break through my armor?! "Color has nothing to do with it, you arrogant fool," A figure appeared next to Arvis' body in a burst of purple energy, their appearance hidden in a red cloak. Judging by their figure and their voice Arvis could tell it was one of his sisters. "You were told not to engage, only observe. We know what Mirela and her sister can do but they require further investigating to note their full potential. The three 'saviors' are no exception either." The figure snapped their fingers causing Arvis to vanished in a burst of purple energy. The figure turned their face, which was hidden by the darkness of the cloak, towards Mirela. "It's a pleasure to meet you Mirela Lovel. Tell Inae I'm looking forward to a personal reading. Though I already know her fortune is quite grim." The figure vanished with a small chuckle before the demons started to close in on the area after hearing the loud explosion.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Argon stumbled back after colliding with the fool's shield before placing his rear foot down quickly regaining his stance. He watched the fool before shaking his head gripping his axe once again as he stared at another one of the summoner's imitations. He glanced back as he noticed Strength was drawing closer to him commending her for her quick reaction. A small chuckle escaped from before he rolled sideways narrowly dodging her attack. He flexed his hand as Strength came within range of his hole, dark energy gathered around it before a large spike started to fire out of it towards her. However the attack was halted as Argon stood fully back up, the attack fading with the hole. He looked into the distance for a moment ignoring the three near him before nodding once. "It appears it is time to depart. Our fight will have to continue another time." Argon placed his axe back on his shoulder as he turned and walked into the distance. "I would leave the area, the demons will gather here soon,"Argon voiced his warning before he faded fully into the red horizon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nala glanced from around the corner of a building as a crawler in it's kid form ran by with her teddy bear turning a corner. A loud scream followed before a green flame exploded from where the little girl had run into. He noticed the little girl's charred body was chucked into the main street, which was enough for Nala to know going this way wasn't an option. She glanced back at Miu, wondering if she could even function as a proper distraction. Her loud voice would just attract trouble to them, but if Miu was alone that would at least give her time to get some distance while they fed on her. While contemplating how to use Miu she noticed a dark figure loom over them. She looked up to see a tall man wearing a hood over his face, with fingerless gloves on his hand, looking down at the two. "Ah it's Miu and Nala," Vilos said looking down at the two. "It seems Mirela and Kalan were wrong. It seems you are alone." It took Nala a moment to recognize this was the man from earlier, when they had met that weird kid. "Are you looking for your parents? Would you like me to assist you? Vilos knelt down looking at Miu seeing she was reaching for a hidden dagger. "Do you want my help?"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Let us shed these hidden forms brothers and sister," The leader of the force spoke as she stood on top of a large staircase. The main force had gathered in a strange unknown location, within a large room lit only by candles which were set randomly around the room. The glowing eyes of the cloaked figure below looked up at the leader. The leader took in a deep breath before exhaling as her quite and dignified voice showed a bit of maturity within it as she spoke again. "Much better," the leader said touching her throat. "How long has the one we once called master ignored our voices, regarded our beliefs as the soliloquy of a madman. How long have we faced oppression under his unjust hierarchy. Though we suffered and endured through endless trials. We remain on the lowest level of underworld echelon. I have listened to your voices and today we shall rise and conquer not only our own desires but that of others. Though our actions will be considered insubordination in the eyes of our enemies, to us it is the beginning of our ambitions!" The leader crossed her arms across her chest as the cloaked figures below her cheered and threw off their cloaks, though their figures remained hidden in darkness. The leader however kept her cloak on as she descended the stairs, stopping at Arvis. Though he was on one knee he still matched the height of their tall leader. Arvis looked up at his leader before he heard a small chuckle come from her. A flash of silver appeared before his eyes before his body went limp, as a round lump rolled into the distance. The curved blade of a scythe showed in the leader's hand though it dissipated shortly afterwards. The others looked down at the headless body of Arvis before the leader raised her arm extending it outwards. "Our day is here. Our brethren stand behind us! Go and achieve our objective!"

Inae let out an irritated sigh as the battle came to an end. She may have been having fun, but it was an unnecessary fight that should have been avoided. Bringing her attention back and forth between Fool and Strength, she shook her head.
"Tarot 0 - The Fool. Dismiss."
"Aww, that's no fun! I'm not done playing yet! C'mon~! Let me stay out longer! I wanna hav-..."
"Enough of your mouth..."
Inae muttered to herself as she returned Fool's card to her pouch, watching as the summon reverted back into his wisp form before dissipating into the air around them. After Fool vanished, Inae's attention was brought onto Strength, who had seemed to relax a little seeing that her opponent had left the area. For a brief moment, the two locked eyes before a slight chuckle escaped Inae's lips. She then walked over to Strength, their gazes continuing to meet.
"M'lady, it seems that both Miu and Nala have wandered off somewhere..."
Strength bowed her head respectfully to her Mistress, who simply waved her hand showing that there wasn't any need to act too formally since for the most part, they were alone.
"It seems that my purpose has been served. Is it wrong to assume that its time for me to depart?"
"Not yet."
Inae reached her hand forward, only to take Strength's rapier without saying a word. She glanced up at Strength long enough to see a slight look of confusion on her face, however the looked faded as a slight chuckle left Inae's lips.
The tiny woman didn't look as if she was having much trouble holding the rapier, which was a bit surprising for her size. She glanced over it for a few moments, looking at its ornate design before turning her body and making a few quick jabs into the space in front of her.
"M'lady...?"
Inae brought her 'swordplay' to a stop, bringing her attention back to Strength.
"Hm? What is it?"
The small woman handed the rapier back to Strength, who simply cleared her throat before speaking once more.
"If you aren't dismissing me yet, then might I ask what it is you plan on doing?"
Struck by a sudden look of boredom, Inae let out a small sigh. "We're going to find Miu and Nala. After that, I suppose we'll be searching for the idiot and the harlot to appease Miu."
Upon seeing Strength's mouth open slightly, Inae shook her head with yet another small chuckle.
"You'll be protecting me for a little while longer. Before you ask, Strength... I'm feeling fine. Now, come on. Who knows where they're at by now."
With that, Inae began to walk in the direction she thought Miu and Nala had gone in, not even bothering to check over her shoulder to see if Strength was following her or not.
Strength stood in the exact same place Inae had left her in, simply watching her as she walked away. Seeing that they were in fact alone, she let out a gentle, warm sigh before a slight smile crossed onto her lips. Her normal stoic expression seemed have turned into one of admiration.
"...Yes, M'lady."
With that, Strength briskly walked after her Mistress, making sure to keep a set distance between them. Neither of them said a word to each other, and no glances had been passed as they walked.
She could barely make out the proud expression on Inae's face, but even if she hadn't seen it, she would have known that it was there. After all, its the same expression she had seen her wear many times in the past. However instead of returning her stoic look onto her face, Strength kept the same admiring expression on her face as the two of them walked.
'M'lady... I'm honored knowing that I'm able to serve under someone such as yourself.'
--------------------
Almost as soon as Miu had caught up to Nala, she saw that they were being talked to by a strange, unfamiliar man. She had started to question who he was, but all traces of suspicion seemed to leave her expression has he talked about helping them look for Kalan and Mirela.
"Huh?? Really~?? You're gonna help us find Momma and Daddy?? Really? Really?!"
Miu hurried forward as a loud squeal left her mouth. She did the best she could to throw her arms around Vilos, hugging him in a tight manner. Even though she had absolutely no idea who he was, she trusted him. He was going to help them find 'Momma' and 'Daddy', so by default, he must be a good guy.
"Of course we want your help~! Have you seem 'em anywhere?"
Miu took this opportunity to unlatch herself from Vilos.
"C'mon, we should just start lookin'! Sissy, this guy is gonna help us find Momma and Daddy! Let's go~!"
"I don't think so, Miu."
Inae's all too familiar voice easily reached Miu's ears. "Auntie Inae!" She giggled. "Looks like you're done kickin' butt!" Miu's attention had been pulled from Vilos and was now stuck on Inae, who still had Strength faithfully walking behind her.
As the two approached Vilos, Inae folded her arms across her chest. "We're in a bit of a rush if you haven't been able to figure it out. You want to stay around? Make yourself useful. You want to find the idiot and the harlot? So be it. Takes less of the stress off of my shoulders."
Inae glanced back at Strength, whose expression had returned to normal ever since Inae's presence was not the only one around.
"What makes you think you'll even be able to help in the first place?"
--------------------
Mirela had been relieved to see that her fight with Arvis had drawn to a close, even if it ended before it really could have begun. Despite her relief however, an uneasy feeling began to surface as her mind was brought back to the fact that Inae, Miu, and Nala were still out there, defending themselves. Just how long had she taken? Definitely long enough to tire herself out, and long enough for Kalan to be eaten by a demon...
Mirela couldn't help but question the cloaked woman's words long after she departed. Even though she clearly had more important matters to worry about, the woman's message lingered within her mind.
However, Mirela had been dragged out of her thoughts upon seeing that the demons had started to close in on the area around her.
'Damn... I don't really have time to deal with this...'
Despite her better judgment, Mirela put her hopes in Inae. She genuinely believed that she was alright, and would without a doubt keep her eye on the children. Mirela knew that going after that demon to rescue Kalan by herself probably wasn't the smartest thing to do, but it was definitely the most urgent emergency given the situation. Besides, Mirela would rather rescue Kalan as quickly as possible than explain to Miu why her 'Daddy' wasn't with her anymore, only to be 'scolded' for not doing anything to help.
As if erasing the thought from her mind, Mirela took off in the direction that Kalan had been carried away in, holding Love against her as she ran. She cursed herself for losing track of where her case had gone, since without a doubt she remembered the hassle of running around with an instrument outside of its case. Although, she hadn't quite anticipated the fact that she would have to resort to such a thing again.
'Oh, forget about it... I have more important things to worry about right now...'
Narrowing her eyes as she ran, Mirela kept on, planning on making that demon regret it ever even thought about eating Kalan in the first place.
It was just a matter of finding it and staying alive at the same time.

As Hikari sent a dagger flying down into the cobblestone below as she flew through the air. The sound of chains rang out as the dagger slammed into the stone. Hikari pulled back on the chain sending herself flying faster downward, her body spinning around, her feet slamming into a sister's face. The demon exploded under her feet as it's head hit the pavement, Hikari's dagger flying back to her palm.
Her light filled eyes pierced the darkness of night as she bolted off into the crowd, her daggers meeting the torsos of the sister crawlers surrounding the building. Hikari's daggers flew from her hands as her foot buried into the street, sending her body spinning, the chains slamming into multiple demons, dragging them along. A click rang out through the screams as Hikari's second foot hit the ground, stopping her body, her arms outstretched to her sides, multiple demons wrapped among the links of the chain.
"Chain detonation"
Hikari's arms flew across her chest, her fingers snapping on each hand as she felt a tug on each chain, sending explosions of light down each chain before a massive explosion flew from her daggers.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sora lunged forward, Tonbogiri in hand, into the sister crawlers before her, hell fire on each side of her as they began to counter attack. Slamming her spear into the ground, she vaulted forward, her tiny foot slamming into the corrupt sister, retrieving her sacred spear behind her. Shimmers of light shone across the demons as Sora gracefully spun the spear in the air, it's sharp blade slicing the beings in half.
"Pathetic"
Sora spun, stabbing the spear to her side into a lunging crawler's face, it's scream filling her ears as it's two halfs flew on either side of her. Sora continued fending off the sisters as her spear crackled with corrupt light, it's shimmering blade sparking as it pierced each demon.
Sora's piercing, shimmering eyes, turned to gaze at the corrupt sister.
"Bring it on"

The demons were thrown about as the onslaught continued from the three, until they all eventually backed away as they watched their brethren burn.. Saken turned to look at the backed away demons as he held a rifter up by it's face before releasing a burst of darkness exploding it's skull. He tossed it aside before he noticed the demons move to the side as a young boy walked forward facing the three. He didn't look older then fifteen and his skin was dark green with a black markings on his exposed left arm. Other than his beady black eyes, and the red spikes poking out of his cheeks, he looked mostly human. He wore a brown shirt with cut sleeves on it's left arm, and a long one on the right. The young boy wore black pants that cut off at his ankles, and he wore a brown shoe on his left foot, and a red one on his right. The demons slowly moved away from the three as the young boy cracked his neck. Saken's orb shot a beam of darkness that went through the boy creating a hole in his chest. "Don't have time for this," he mumbled lowering his hand. The boy fell to his knees shortly after before falling face first on the ground. Saken started to walk forward but stopped as the hole in the boy slowly close before he slowly stood back up. Black smoke rose off his body as the wound fully closed before his attention landed back on the three. "Brothers," the boy spoke. Two young boys, clad in the same clothing, landed on one side of the boy, while a rebirth and another young boy landed on the other side. "Little brothers, protect your heart," the rebirth spoke revealing it's arm blade. The little brother rebirth's eyes widened before two of them ran at Sora as two rifters started making their way towards her. The regular rebirth ran at Saken as the last two little brothers ran at Hikari. The little brother's back twitched as two curved blades grew out of their backs and swung from side to side over their heads. The first little brother made a horizontal swipe to slice Hikari in half with the left curved blade, while one of the two rifters turned and made it's way towards Hikari. The other little brother slashed diagonally at Sora with it's right blade as the rifter entered it's rift and started slashing rapidly as it made it's way towards Sora. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Vilos almost tensed when Miu hugged him and raised his arms as he looked down at the energetic little girl. When she responded to his question and backed away he lowered his arms before nodding as a response. His attention was drawn away from Miu as Inae caught up to them with Strength not too far behind. He adjusted his hood as she spoke to him remaining silent as she spoke before asking him how he could assist. He took note that her rude nature matched what he had been informed of when he was near Miss Vivian "Inae Lovel and the eight of the major arcana Strength. Of course you probably served as number eleven at one point." Vilos said lowering his hands from his hood. Vilos adjusted his gloves as his head moved to look at Miu and Nala. "It seems you're taken care of. I will take my leave." Vilos turned his back to the group before moving to walk away, he stopped however and pointed in a direction. "My orders were to watch Mirela and Kalan so I knew their locations. However dealing with rude people is troublesome so I will leave the finding to you. I will inform you that there are shadows in that direction so avoid going that way. I hope your reunion is a happy one, especially with Kalan circumstance." Vilos vanished into the darkness before Nala pulled her hood back over her head. "There's no point finding those two anyway," Nala said moving her hands into her sleeves. "Delusional dreams of simple minded fools," Nala shook her head before going silent, looking around assuming Vilos had had cleared a path just to reach that area. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The handler that ate Kalan had flown almost halfway through the city, approaching the north end before it came to a stop. The handler let out a low grunt before opening it's mouth allowing demons to fall out of it's mouth onto the ground below before it continued flying forward. A bright light appeared to the right of the handler causing it to turn it's massive head to look at it. The light slammed into the handler's face causing it to crash into a nearby building before exploding with a loud roar. Kalan screamed before he hit the ground face first, only to have the handler's bear land on him shortly after. He quickly stood up and spit out the beard hair before brushing it off him and turning towards where the handler crashed. "What was that all about?" Kalan questioned looking down at his clothing. He was covered in a weird green gunk that made him shiver as he tried to shake some of it off. He looked into the gathered dust from the building before he noticed a tall figure standing in it. He summoned his straw assuming it was a demon only to lower his hand as the figure walked out of the dust. The man brushed dirt off his clothing before placing a fedora on his head adjusting it shortly after. Kalan's eyes widened as he fully dismissed his straw and stood up. "Luck!" Hearing his name the man looked over at the source before his eyes widened and he pointed at him with his gloved hand. "Kalan?" Kalan smiled at Luck but it faded as Luck let out a sigh and opened his pocket watch. "Figures I run into you. Couldn't be someone that can at least serve as a worthwhile distraction," Luck turned and walked away from Kalan, but Kalan followed after walking alongside him. "Good to see you're still the same," he said narrowing his eyes at him. "Why are you here?" "I slammed into one of the handlers and it knocked me off course. Now go away I have a job to do." Kalan watched as Luck continued to stare at his pocket watch, lifting his head to look around every now and then. "Maybe I can help," Kalan said crossing his arms. "What your job?" "I'm here to find Birth. With all these demons around, probably thanks to Reaper I don't have time to waste. If you want to help go find a babe to keep me company after I'm finished. actually find two." Kalan's eye twitched but what he heard from Luck made him stop from retaliating. He was looking for Birth...so did that mean she was still alive? He didn't want to tell Luck he had seen her die but if he didn't know then he wanted to at least let him down gently. "Luck-" Kalan was cut off as Luck tapped his pocket watch. "Blasted thing...her energy keeps appearing and disappearing," Kalan went silent and walked alongside Luck, deciding that he may lead to some answers. He hoped he was wrong about Birth. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A caller walked around the corner of the building and into the street before it's eye turned and locked onto the person drawing closer to it. The eye narrowed as it noticed Mirela before the caller let out a loud screech before it started running at Mirela, continuing to screech. A handler appeared shortly after and flew overhead, before making it's way to Mirela. It opened it's mouth causing demons to pour out of it into the street. The large army of demons started running at Mirela before three rebirths appeared behind her blocking her exit. The demons started to close in on Mirela as the handler grew closer opening it's mouth again. Whispers started to fill the streets as red words started to appear in front of Mirela. The sentences formed from the words were unintelligible and seemed to be written in another language. A giant red beam of energy exploded forward as the lettering finished destroying all the demons in the street in one big explosion. Another beam incinerated the rebirths behind her. A giant smoldering trail on both sides of her the only evidence of their existence. The words appeared around the handler before an explosion of red consumed it destroying the handler shortly after. "Good to see you're safe." The voice appeared from above Mirela, as a slim figure hovered from the sky and landed a few feet in front of her. She was wearing a purple cloak that hid most of her body, except the black short healed boots she wore. "You'll have to forgive me for keeping my cloak on. We shouldn't meet eyes yet." The woman's voice was gentle and she made sure to stay at a safe distance in case Mirela chose to speak with her power. "My name is Yasia Nevasi Vorminaki. I have some questions to ask you." Yasia looked around before letting her gloved hands fall out of her long sleeves. "I apologize but I'll have to stay near you while searching for my answers. If you resist I'll have to negotiate with violence, and I'd like to avoid fighting you. You have family to return to after all." Yasia stepped to the side stepping out of Mirela's way before going silent. "Please lead the way,"
