Calisto looked at what Ivan had managed to do. It saved her time...smirking she and Ivan were escorted as the vehicle with Cap and Jade were being shipped off. The vehicle flew above the city and then went below the city but not to Underworld....a place where prisoners from the purge are taken.

Location: Empire Holding
Jade seemed to be suffering from a major headache as she began to come to. Someone was splashing water on her to get up. Looking she was shackled standing completely nude. She was standing on a platform with a few more victims of the purge as she looked down at the people observing. They began to separate them to begin running test. Jade squinted, she wondered where she was and what happened to Cap.
A few scientist came towards Jade as they examined her. They began to check her heart beat, pulse, eyes, ears, ect. What in the hell were they doing? Jade knew one thing that wherever she was...she highly doubted this would be paradise.

Isa herself was barely aware what had happened to her as she was also brought to splashed with water and now shivering wet because both her body and ears were now soaked she coughed once or twice before blinking and being hauled to her feet, "this cant be good" she whispered a she swayed on the spot feeling a massive head ache throb in her left frontal lobe, she remembered fleeing the giant rhinoceros creature before, but everything else was either a blur or something she would have rather not remembered.
"where am i?" she asked blinking as someone shined a light into her eye, it didn't usually hurt to ask, "you shall see soon enough dearie" the man said and she flinched as someone touched her ears and yipped when another pulled on her tail, "put her in cell 12" she heard and was suddenly gripped by two large men and she was able to struggle only slightly before they pulled her away, placing her in a bared cell where she could still see what was going on.

Cap awoke while being transported through the facility on a gurney. His arms and legs were strapped down and someone was pushing him along from behind. After a few minutes of struggling and trying to break his restraints, he was sedated by a doctor of some sort. The next time he woke up, he was laying on a cot in a jail cell of some sort. The walls were all white, and the only way out appeared to be through a large steel door that would probably have needed a charging rhino strapped with C4 to knock it down. He sat up and massaged his forehead; he had a very bad headache. He tried to stand up but quickly fell back onto the cot again; he was still a little out of it. After a few more minutes Cap was up and looking around his cell. It had a bed, a toilet, a sink, a dresser for clothes that was bolted to the floor and wall. And a bookshelf with a few books on it. Cap knew this wasn't a regular jail cell, compared to some of the cells he'd seen, this was a one bunk Hilton. He noticed a camera in the corner of the room, and looked at it before waving his arms above his head. It seemed that someone was watching him, but why? That was the real question.
About fifteen minutes later a doctor looking man came into the room, along with two guards armed with rifles, to make sure Cap didn't try anything funny. The doctor asked Cap a few questions about his past and Cap promptly told the doctor to go screw himself. The doctor merely smiled at this comment and then one of the guards hit him over the head with the butt of their rifle. Cap shook the blow off and remained where he was. After an hour of the questions, the doctor finally gave up trying to get information out of Cap. Before the door shut, Cap saw the doctor turn and speak to someone, "Maybe you'll have more luck with this one Calisto. He's quite stubborn." Cap sighed and laid back on the cot, massaging his head again, now his headache was even worse.

Calisto had been making rounds around the institution. To some of the prisoners who peaked her interest, she would make a personal visit. She had read up on three prisoners that took to her interest. Someone who could control sound, the other had animated hair and the other one utilized solar energy. Calisto also had a nasty little gift where she could absorb people's abilities...but with the cost of their life. As she left the last room, a corpse that emitted smoke could be seen. It was a husk of the person that used to be.
Her eyes glew with a sort of lust as she made it towards where Cap was being held. She looked at the doctor and after his warning she went straight in. "So I see you're not being responsive with our lovely staff, can you tell me why is that? Participate and your stay here won't be so bad" she added.
Jade continued to observe what they were doing. At first it was painless and she thought nothing of it but then they began to poke and pry at her. Sighing she took it for what it was worth but when they started doing test on her that's when she began to panic. Sometimes it was just a reflex excercise...then sometimes it would test something else. Jade began to feel the pressure as they painfully extracted some of her DNA from her. Her skin began to darken as her eyes began to glow a dark red.
Red began to race across her body as it was a paint on a canvus. Her body mass began to grow at an alarming rate. Officers began to rush to the scene to try and sedate Jade. Jade couldn't control what was going on...it was as if she needed to survive by any means. Pipes began to burst as water was extracted as full force towards some soldiers, piercing them through their bodies as if they were paper. Jade lept into the air sending out hot melting light towards the workers there. Machinery began to explode. It seemed that Jade may have won until she felt a sharp sting in her back and then another and another. She had been tranquilized. She stumbled before blacking out. A team of scientist came to run test once more and keep her sedated, before placing her into a liquid filled chamber for incubation. Jade was now fully submersed to be studied...as her Drago form was still present...they would monitor her transformation back to her original state.

Cap frowned as the woman from earlier walked in, and her mocking tone didn't help things. He sat up and sighed before saying, "How about you let me out of here and then I'll cooperate. You obviously don't want me here for study, or else I'd be on a lab table having DNA drawn and other experiments run. I'm a full Hume, so I shouldn't be in a purge facility. There's been plenty of recorded and studied cases of Humes with powers, so I don't see why you need me." He stood up, stretching his arms above his head and then dropping them lightly to his sides as he stared at the woman, who was a few inches shorter than him. He wondered what happened to Jade, as well as where they were and how they were going to get out of here. One didn't hear nice things about purge facilities. He eyed the woman with interest for a moment then said, "And what about you? Are you a full Hume? What makes you think they won't lock you up in here when they've done it to everyone else? Just because you work for them doesn't mean they won't stab you in the back." He wanted to test where the woman's loyalties were. If she were just a power hungry b***h things might go either way, but if she was a company woman, then chances were she wouldn't help him.

Calisto listened to what Cap had to say. "Yes we do know and most are registered with the City-State to help serve in any form or fashion. But you're not here because you have abilities...you're here because you helped a person of interest to us. Now before you start trying to lie...it won't work with me, I have an ability that I can use called psychometry...I can tell the history of an object that I touch. Last night I touched an object belonging to one of the purge agents you knocked out" she told him. "I knew right away your red haired friend wasn't hume...who do you think sent the agents to the club that night?" she asked him.
"You should really be more loyal to your government after all they do so much good for you..." she let herself trail off. When he asked was she fully hume and what if they stabbed her in the back. "Don't I like hume darling?!?" she asked in a manner that lead to insult Cap. "And I'm no regular agent...I don't work for a company...I work for someone much higher" she said. "Now you can tell me everything you know about that girl...more about you...and you might have a chance in hell of leaving this place alive" she told him.

from her cell Isa had witnessed the events that had gone on with the draco girl from the safety of her cell. Unlike foxes dracos were probably the strongest and most unpredictable beings in the underground, so it was understandable why these scientists would want to study the woman.
After the hell had broken loose and the security had gotten control of the situation Isa now wondered what would happen to the girl, let alone herself, she was a slave, had a number and everything, but it was common practice for the government to take non hume slaves randomly from houses. on the bright side she wouldn't have to go back to that house, on the down side she had no clue what these lab men were planning to do with her. for now she simply found a corner in her cell to curl up and sleep, draping her tail over some of her nude body so she might conserve some heat, why do they always treat us like animals she wondered actually thinking for a moment that her master actually treated his pets better than he did her. sighing to herself she curled up tightly hoping to be at least put out of her misery soon.

Cap rolled his eyes as the woman, Calisto, rattled off the government's spiel about Humes with abilities. He laughed lightly when she said he should be more loyal to his government, saying, "Yeah, and I served for four years in the military for the empire. I'm as loyal as they come, but I have the common sense to know when the government is right and when it's wrong." When she asked if she looked like a Hume, he scoffed and replied, "You look more like a b***h to me. A lapdog. Someone too stupid to know when they're being used. A crony, a stooge, a mook, whatever you call it." He smirked and sat down on his cot again, before answering her last question, "I can tell you all I know. That doesn't mean I will. Because, let's face it, my chances of getting out of here are exactly the same whether I tell you or not." Cap crossed his arms over his chest and stared at the woman in defiance, he didn't care what she did, he wasn't going to give up that easily.

Calisto smiled at Cap's attitude....he was rebellious and she liked it. She approached him and sat on the table looking at him. "Oh no you called me name...c'mon now Cap...that's no way to speak to woman" she said with a little laugh and then stopped then picked back up again. She looked at Cap and sighed. "I don't know why people always want to do this the hard way. Her hair began to dance a little as she talked, she was experimenting with her new found ability. Her hair grew wrapping around Cap as she sat him upwards and his arms and legs pinned down.
"Well one upside to this job...even if I am a lacky or a b***h in your words...." she said trailing and smirking at him. "I get a pick of what powers interest me" she said smirking. She inhaled and released some toxins in the air. It would first make him a little drowzy, then begin to numb him...then make him nauseous. "You'll talk...I have all the time in the world" she said crossing her legs as she made the toxins more potent as the minutes went by.

Four months had passed and Jade had been living a hell since she had arrived at the purge institution. She had been one of the fortunate ones who wasn't killed or shipped off to The Underworld but things still weren't the best. She had met a young girl named Isa and grew a little towards the female. Jade still wondered about Cap...was he released and didn't want to be bothered with her again? Jade sat in front of her food staring at it and looking into the distance. She had to get out of here...unfortunately for her she had a necklace that restrained her power. It was scientifically crafted but magically enchanted. She would attempt to escape...for the thirtieth time since she arrived.

Isa, scrawnier than the day she had been locked away watched Jade as the other woman seemed to loose herself in thoughts again, "dont do it Jade" she whispered, it was interesting the reasoning the scientists had come up with for keeping her here in the cells alive and not among the underworld as she had expected, they had noticed how she had gotten along with the draco project and had decided to keep her as a 'companion' "there is no possible way they would let you escape" she said as she reached for Jade's arm. Four months of all of this, and Isa had little hope that things might change anytime soon, they were still locked in these cells, stripped nude and treated as livestock, even her old masters treatment was starting to sound much better than all these needles and tests they kept running them through, Jade more so than Isa herself.

There were sounds of fighting easily audible in the hallway outside of Cap's cell. It had been four hellish months since he arrived at the facility, at least, that's what it was by Cap's count. Every other day, the doctor would come in and ask him questions, and every time he refused to answer, the guards stepped in and beat him still he stopped fighting. Cap knew it was no use fighting the guards, as they would always wind because of their superior numbers, but that didn't stop him from doing some damage. Cap had lost count of the guards he had sent away with broken bones, black eyes, and dislocated arms, legs and jaws. Every other day this would happen, and the day after that they'd send a healer in and fix him up so they could do it all over again the next day. Calisto had only come in about once a month, each time she seemed more powerful, and more often than not, she would wind up testing her new powers out on Cap. They had put a collar around his neck that inhibited his abilities after he broke through a guard's mind and made him shoot half his colleagues before they gunned him down. The most he could manage now was a small spark when he snapped his fingers, and maybe break through the mind of a gerbil. Cap knocked the two guard to the floor and caught his breath as their friends dragged them away, blood leaking from their noses and mouths. Two more guards came in and Cap sighed, "Come on then, let's get this over with." The two guards immediately started fighting Cap, and he did his best to fight back. After another hour or so of this, Cap fell to the floor, unconscious, bloody and beaten, but still not giving into his captors.

Jade looked over to Isa. The young fox was so pessamistic. Jade wouldn't feed into it though, it didn't matter if they didn't let her. She just needed a chance to get out of this hell. She looked over to Isa and smirked. "Isa...I think I have something I want you to do...in a few minutes...I will be faking an episode....I pray to the heavens that you know a little something about computers because I'm doing to need for you to shut these damn collars off" she told her companion. The halfling had really given this thought. "I can kinda shift into my other form, you know at least darken my skin and have scales appear for them to come and worry and observe me alongside security" she told her. "So...here goes..." she said as she took a "bite" of her food and began to "choke as she fell the floor a few inmates ran towards her and security as well.
Isa wouldn't have long to do this but Jade prayed that the young girl would be able to help. Jade then began to focus as her eyes turned red glowing in and out as her skin was darkening and scales began to appear. More backup was called. This was now the perfect time for Isa to slip away unnoticed and de-program the collars.
Calisto had visited Cap once a month for him to talk and it seemed that she had weakened but whatever he didn't tell she just learned from the items he possessed or touched. "Ivan...you have been most loyal to me the last four months, I no longer look at you as a slave...I can honestly say I almost can see you as an equal" she told him in all honesty. "Tell me how loyal are you to me?...to Empire?" she asked. Through the months subtle and subliminal techniques were used on Ivan to brainwash him to an extent...if he answered her question correctly though, then she would give him his next mission.
It had been four months since Zero had "awoken". He had found a place to stay in The Old City. Much reconstruction was still being done until this day. Zero took everday he lived as a chance to learn something new. He really didn't have "friends" but he did enjoy playing with the kids in the neighborhood. Zero didn't know exactly what the Purge was...but the kids of the neighborhood had told him horrible stories which often gave him nightmares...kinda like scary movies scare children. He sat on a ledge as he looked into the sky. It seemed that it was sundown as he took in the scenery. Zero really did love the nature...everything seemed to know its order. A few sparks of electricity formed in his hand as he made an orb. "Who am I?....where do I come from?" he asked himself. For some reason as of late he began to have more and more questions regarding things.

Isa balked slightly as Jade informed her of her plan, "are you nuts! relying on me of all people!" she tried to argue but it was too late, Jade had already set her plan into motion and Isa was not one to let a friend down, despite the fact that she was scared out of her mind. the guards suddenly swarmed the cell they were in and Isa used her natural abilities to slink her way thought the advancing men and made her way out into the lab, three scientists were still their working on others, they stopped as soon as they saw Isa, wanting to contain her since she was a threat, but she avoided as much as she could. Im running out of time! she thought jumping a medical table to find the large computer that tended to run the entire cell operation, "collars" I don't even have a clue what i am doing! she thought and reached for a button, hitting several in the process before she was tackled by one of the lab men and she let out a slight yip as she fell and tried her best to squirm from the man.

Ivan listened to his master intently, for the last month she had placed him in the cell to keep an eye on the Hume, for reasons unknown to anyone she had come up with suspicions about the man, and he remembered her informing him to watch the blue haired kid, keep a close eye on him. Ivan did not understand it, and he wasn't sure his master had either but he was there to do his duty, treated like a regular lock down Hume only his master was aware of his true breed. "i am loyal to you only Calisto" he replied through the bars in a low voice, he would not be heard by any, "your word comes before the empire"

Calisto smiled as she had heard what Ivan said. It was good that he thought that like that. For some reason...Cap had got her to question the loyalty of Empire but she wouldn't dare betray her employer until proven that she needed to. "That's good to hear Ivan" she told him. "Well...I just have a gut feeling that the tides are about to shift...I want you to stay as attached to the hip to this hume as you can....no matter what" she said as she looked him in his eyes. She pushed something into his cell as she looked at him. "Eat up and enjoy" she told him.
