Willow chuckled, "Tiger actually." She corrected Ren, "Byakko if you'd like to be precise about it." She seemed to perk up a little adding that tidbit of information, it was one of the first times she'd actually gotten to give that out.

Willow saw Barth and remembered him from Mad Science 101. He was sleeping behind the desk while Christof taught it! She gave a wave to the sloth demon as he sunk down, not sure if she'd seen it or not.

Willow was at least distracted from the large crowd of students in the room by those talking to her so she didn't have to worry about being too jumpy for the time being, it was amazing what a small distraction could do for her fear of crowds. Willow nodded, "I am." She paused at the second question, "It's been interested so far, I've caught some really fun classes. Like that one Barth help run." she paused, "That's his name right?" She gestured to the sleepy looking Demon. "Otherwise I'm still trying to get use to not getting lost. It's such a large place, nothing like back home."

Oh jack, oh jack, she was lateee, late, oh so very late for the minipet class! Astra had thought she would be on time for this one, but as usual it always took time to get Ryu to move his sorry little minipet but towards the classroom.

That wasn't to say that she hadn't completely forgot about the class of course, but she would of been at least a little less late had he decided to cooperate. Although, considering how he was at the beginning of these classes, he has improved drastically. She didn't need to keep him on a least now!

Entering the classroom and glancing nervously about, she spied Malcom there and hoped he wouldn't notice her late appearance. She did however notice the amount of...red..bushes around.

Not to mention a certain black bakaneko's presence too.

The fairy ghoul sent a glare at Riyo, adverting her gaze if she felt the other was going to look her way. She hadn't forgotten what had happened at the training session, and she was still trying to think of a good way to get back against her.

She was quick to forget about riyo for the moment, as she saw a familiar Undead leviathan in the class too...except, he....she... was looking a little unfamiliar too.

"M...Merope?" She stuttered, approaching the....ghoul.

Merope looked up as Ren called out to her, offering a grin to him and a wave. He was pretty sure he had seen Ren around before, but only in passing.

The undead boil’s ghoul’s grin only grew when she caught sight pf Pepin’s stare. She got a wave too.

Jericho also got a friendly wave. The red dragon was another person Merope had little experience with. Though Merope did know that Jericho could breathe fire -- that could have had something to do with it.

It wasn’t until Astra approached her that Merope snickered. “Hey Astra,” she greeted in her still very masculine voice. It seemed that while Merope changed on the outside, her voice was still very much a ‘he.’ “What’s new with you?”

Merope's wave was enough to snap Pepin out of her freeze. Raising a brow she let hi- her pass by and proceeded to eye her down as she sat. Mental Note. Bother Gameboil later... Looking down at her own chest she frowned feeling nervous and inadequate.

Shaking the thought she turned back to Mitsu. "Vocalepuses are pretty cool, they're great at singing but they can only sing like.. a couple songs. I don't know why. They're pretty fashionable too for minis if that doesn't sound wierd."

Pepin sat down next to Mitsu and Shun and leaned against her hands. "Wonder what all this stuff is for? If we're wrangling dust bunnies again I'm rage quitting.." she huffed softly.

LATE LATE LATE HE WAS LATE Oh Hell's Bells he really needed to pay more attention to his class schedual- WAIT was he supposed to have brought Scruff this time or not? Too late now- boots skidding, Christof practically toppled into the classroom before scrambling for whatever desk he could find.

Given how she had been present for the previous minipet classes, Lizzy decided to sign up for this one as well, after seeing the notice on the notice board. The fact that they did not need to bring along a minipet for minipet training, coupled with the fact that the professor did not state the agenda for the class, caused her to raise an eyebrow, but she liked the class enough to disregard both things and join anyway.

Looking around, she wasn't sure who to go to... So she decided to randomly take a seat, away from the creepy red bushes, and wait for someone to come to her instead.

Westus, he was always good for a little argument. Truthfully, Demi knew his didn't mind the demon boil at all, it was just far too much fun riling him up.

Ever the glutton for punishment, the hellhound continued to talk. "Let me mark my territory in peace." he said with a chuckle and rolled his eyes at the taller boil. "well if you need to learn how to stop punching them, you need one to punch you back. I'd be glad to offer my services to that cause." he smirked back to him in response.

Other than the passive aggression war the demon and himself were having, Mot's entrance into the room was a sight for sore eyes, except it was strange seeing the boil so flustered. "You all right there cowboil?" he asked in concern and gave a wave to the bloke and in turn the Baku that trailed after him. "Ello Xiu!"

"Anytime, kid," West replied, following Lizzy's example and taking a seat. He hadn't seen much of Demi on campus outside of class or he surely would have tried to provoke him into a fistfight already. Good to know he had the hellhound's blessing, however sarcastic it was.

He made a shooing motion with his hands, then dropped his arms to the desk and rested his head against them. "Go. Go away," he muttered into the wood. "Play wit' your little baby friends." Why... so... annoying...

AND EVERYONE PAY ATTENTION PLEASE...!

The chattering in the class was ignored by the minipet training professor; his gaze shifted between the classroom door and the watch on his wrist. The moment the time changed from 10:59 to 11:00, he hopped off the desk to close the door - this time, no latecomers allowed. Besides, he had a pretty full class already.

"Welcome back to class... I hope your break was good," He scanned through the faces of the students; some looked familiar, while others looked... New. It was a good sign, seeing how it meant that there must be a good mix of Snots and Knobs. That or Knobs who did not attend his previous classes, "You must be wondering why the notice I put up did not ask for you to bring along your minipets... The answer is right there-"

He gestured to the red bushes lining the only 'land' path with a hand, "Those are minipets... Feisty minipets." He made sure to place empathize on the word 'feisty'.

"However, they're great to practice this little thing I like to call 'intimidation' on," He continued, leaning against his desk, "As you know, everything in Halloween is made up of FEAR - you are made up of FEAR and minipets are made up of FEAR... The difference is the amount of FEAR you are made of. Minipets have much lesser FEAR than you do - thus, what they can do is limited."

He walked over to one of the red bushes, picking it up. Immediately, the bush started to wiggle and a long tail, together with the head and limbs of a Creepin Shrubbery, popped out, revealing an angry, flailing minipet.

"Remember - you are the one holding more FEAR," He explained calmly, as if he wasn't holding onto a minipet trying to claw his eyes out, "What I need you to do, is to pick up one of the bushes. When the minipet reveals itself, stare right into its eyes; no matter how much it is moving, do not let it go. Feel the FEAR flowing through your body, and project the thought that you are bigger, stronger, scarier than it." He was demonstrating it as he explained, and soon, the minipet settled down in his hands.

"If you do it right, the minipet will realize that you - not it - are the leader of the 'pack' and will be more inclined to listen to you. Some of you might find it easier than others," He continued, putting the minipet down on his desk, where its limbs and tail were tucked back into its bush-body, so that only the head was peeking out, "For example, the Knobs, with their larger FEAR pool, as well as those of you who have great self-confidence. Students who fail to tame this minipet usually doubt their own ability to be scary, or possess other forms of self-doubt... If that describes you, I need you to really focus and go all out. Go on, try it and see how it goes."

Well that seemed simple enough. Rubbing his chin, the dragon went to fetch one of the red bushes and waited for one of the minis to appear. After some waiting, a little face appeared through the leaves. Staring down at the mini, Jericho gave a snarl to try and see if he could scare or intimidate it into submission. He thought of bringing fire into the mix too, but he didn't want to accidentally burn the bush down.

The little critter let out a little 'meep!' and ducked back and away.

Well that was easy.

"Yes, Barth. I err, right, Mad Science. I'm also err, running for President. Student-Council wise. I had a booth. ...For a short period of time," he said to Willow. "And yes," he answerd Bea, "I've always rather liked minipets. Affectionate, low maintenance."

Professor Malcolm gave their directions, and Barth couldn't help but be a little wary.

Grab it? As in..pick it up? Barth was less concerned with the claws...minipets could get aggressive, admittedly, but that was alright. Most minipets were on the...angry side. At least the ones he'd encountered. He found them endearing any way.

The problem was the bushes looked so...heavy.

He crouched, lifting it just a smidge, or at least pretending to sort of lift it. It proved to be enough of a bother that the minipet appeared with a lot of yowling and a lot of claws.

Intimidating. Project Fear.

"Stop it," Barth hissed.

It stopped.

Intimidation. That was something the Reaper could do.. usually at least. Lately he had been a little off his game, but when it came to minis, he had little doubt that he could dominate them. In any case, this went along with what he had told Mitsu before. As he thought, this would turn out to do good for her after all.

Shun glanced over to her, then carried one of the bushes back to where he sat. With a sort of grimace, he waited patiently for the mini to show itself.

When the creature showed up, he just stared right at it, giving the smaller critter one of his glares. The mini's eyes widened, and looked something akin to a hallowdeer in headlights.

"Get your tail out of your tailhole Westus, don't forget you were once at this level too." he said with a scoff, he didn't expect grumpy to act like such a damn demon elitist ever since after the summer break. guess it just ran in demon blood. As for the offer to punch him out, it wasn't at all a joke. He need a slice of humble pie in the dog's opinion.

If anything Damien was sure he could fit his boot in the pink haired boil's big mouth.

The task that the professor was one that the green eared mutt knew he needed to learn and master quickly. he quickly bounded up to one of the darker hued bushes and gave it a shake and watched as the critter came out to stare at him.

It was only right for him to glare back at it and let the growl rumble in his throat. and it yawned at him. let the eye twitching begin.

It was a bush. Sure it might bite and claw a bit, but he was so used to Jackdammit trying to rip his face off that he was starting to think of that stuff like expressions of love. Roch snorted, heading for the nearest bush to pick it up and look in its eyes. The little monster seemed to think of biting, but Roch grinned back at it, a bit dangerously.

For some reason its ears fell back and it looked up at him, blinking cutely.

"Hey, this lil guy's actually kinda cute," Roch said happily.
