"I fear that one day we will see who is the most stubborn..." he said as he started towards the smith station.

"Mind standing by?" he asked. "He can be unpredictable when he gets like this..."

What was coming from the tent was more metal being pounded, but this time it was different. It seemed more destructive in nature. A few none Elmi smiths were fleeing the tent.

"Dam coward!" Dojime shouted. "Stupid fool! His soldiers will never hold a sword again!"

Flint cringed as he blew the tent's entrance aside. "Dojime!"

"What?!" he yelled, tossing a split shield at the entrance. "I won't do it! I won't attack the hard working people of my home land! I will not!" he roared as he broke a sword over one of the anvils and tossed the hilt into a rack of weapons, some falling to the ground in response.

Flint tilted his head to the side as the shield flew passed him and clattered into the camp. "Then don't. Leave," Flint said calmly.

Dojime leaned on one of the many tables set up in the large tent and glared at all the weapons he'd helped fix in silence.

"So how long will it take to reach the beach?" Boris wanted to get this done and return home as soon as they could, so was it smart to go at such a pace?

"You're not the much older than me." Silvius scoffed back his adviser. "You barely pass being old enough to be my father."

Tret stood by, arms crossed as he couldn't ignore his curiosity to this situation. If nothing else, it would be good to observe how Flint interacted with his fellow Sotten. There may come a day where they would have to deal with Dojime without Flint.

As items were being thrown, Tret flinched back and peeked worriedly in to the tent. Hopefully things wouldn't get any worse...

---

"It shouldn't take us more than seven days." Leorine shrugged. "If Sot's weather wants to be favorable anyway. The constant winter weather is not to be trusted though."*

"Syriiat," Issasa repeated with a hint of irritation. "Are you listening to me?"

"Apparently not." Another monk snickered beside her, helping escort the pregnant woman up the mountain.

"Damon, hush." She hissed in reply at him.
"Syriiat?"

((I'll do a time skip for both sides once we wrap up things here on the Light Side.))

"My point exactly." Cain replied with a chuckle.
"Now the challenge is getting you to be as effective as I am when you're at my age."

Vos watched next to Tret silently, examining the two Sottens interact. After a few moments, he blinked twice and slowly leaned over to Tret to speak in a quieter tone.
"Your horrid stories dictate these two are about to make out in an aggressive nature...I suggest we leave before I pick up any more scars..."

--

"Then we must make the most of the light." Barix grunted.
"The less time spent out of the fighting, the better."

"Oh. Good afternoon, Issasa." Astaroth replied, looking back at her from over his left shoulder, his visible eye showing a monotonous expression over anything else.

He then looked to her side to see the Monk accompanying her.
"...Is there something the matter..?"

"Let's get a move on then." Boris nodded and spurred his horse into a light run.

After a few seconds of thinking Dojime started to nod. "Alright... alright FINE..." he said as he left the tent, walking passed Flint and the other two elmi as he made his way to the edge of the camp. "I'm going home..."

Flint stepped aside and let him go. "You know what this means don't you?" he asked as he watched Dojime leave.

"Yes. I will see you all in Sot. The next time we meet we'll be enemies," he said without looking back at them. He stopped and a large chunk of earth started to rise from under him, lifting him off the ground. He started to float away from camp.

Flint sighed as he watched Dojime leave. "I figured it would come to this..." he said to himself.

Silvius gave a light hum in reply to the old man's words, knowing better than to try and argue against his supposed challenge.
Besides, something else caught the young Jun's attention.

"...What is that smith doing?" He asked, nodding in the direction of Dojime as the Earth Elemi flew off on a chunk of earth.

"Oh please." Tret snorted, lightly smacking his hand against Vos' chest. "You act like I told you how to sacrifice children to demonic figures.
As the argument began to escalate, the Electric Elemi took cautious steps back, not daring to even within any sort of range of Dojime's arms.

"Well..." He sighed, watching the man go. "...That went well."

---

"'Good afternoon.'" Issasa echoed with a snort, rolling her eyes at the Jun. "He ignores me, and when I finally do get his attention.." She smirked at her husband anyway.
"You know, if you stopped staring off in to the distance, you might actually hear people when they're speaking to you."

The monk rolled his eyes at Issasa, but held his tongue.
"The others have gathered." Damon answered Astaroth. "Things have... Changed. There are unsettling signs that need to be discussed."

"A conflict of interest." Cain replied, sighing.
"Many of our soldiers hail from where you deem your enemy many of them are loyal to their homes more than you, too." He added, watching the smith leave.
"A task you may wish to undertake is to gain their true alliegance, or this could be commonplace."

"...Think he'll return?"

--

"Perhaps..." Astaroth nodded to Issasa.
"It may also help to not speak against the wind." He added before facing the monk.
"...Perhaps we should speak elsewhere..."

"No I don't think so..." Flint replied. "We will definitely see him again though. We should be count ourselves lucky he's not making a scene of it. If we don't let him go he probably will. I hope no one stops him."

Dojime continued to float on without a word, turning his head only to shoot a glare towards Silvius himself.

((Sorry I'm kinda delaying that time skip, but you know me and causing drama.))

Silvius stared right at Dojime as he passed, his expression and gaze never faltering. He knew where he stood in this war, it wasn't his problem Dojime didn't.

"They made their choices." He replied to Cain once the Earth Elemi passed them. "They will live their decisions - all of them." Without another word, he returned inside his tent for more planning, and brooding..

---

Damon nodded, and gestured to the monastery behind them.
"We are ready to speak."

~*~

A week and a half later...

Bathsheba sighed, gazing out on the horizon. Night had fallen, but the Light didn't fade away. They moved under the cover of darkness, stalking their prey.

In the distance, the dim lights of Junus glowed, unaware of the upcoming attack they would face...

"Ready to scout the area?" Bathsheba asked quietly, looking at the men behind her.

---

Slowly letting out a sigh, Leorine gazed out in to the ocean. She could see the blockade, barely. The ships drifted on the ocean current and winds, just waiting to strike at anything that came.

From the front anyway. Their bellies were exposed, soft...

"Ready men?"

Vos nodded as he looked over to Bathsheba.
"Merely give me a location to mark. The rest is art." he said, before looking back at Tret.
"You got any new ideas for tonight..?"

Cain looked down at the map in the main tent, staring down at Junus.
He reached out with his left and and took hold of a flask containing some form of alcohol. The Proof being heavy enough to light a Fire Elemis ablaze if they came close...Yet oddly enough, Cain's demeanor showed no inebriation.
"...What do you have planned, Astaroth..." he muttered under his breath, as he looked out from the tent, and towards where Junus was.
"There's no way he doesn't suspect this...."

---

Barix just gave a grunt, staring at the ocean.
His eye twitched as he continued to gaze at the water. He failed to tell the others that his skills in swimming...Well...There weren't exactly many lakes in Ortme, or Pyrius...
"The sooner that blockade is splinters, the better...."

"Astaroth!" Darius called out, in quite a frantic scamper towards the Jun.

"Hmm..?" Astaroth turned to look towards his adviser as he was looking down at a map.
"Something to report, Grimm..?"

"I had some of my informants gather intel on eh...CERTAIN aspects of Silvius' strategy." Darius replied, holding onto multiple sheets of paper.

"And..?"

"One informant brought me a plethora of their Propaganda about us. I must say, the artists are quite good....."

"And........?"

"AND I'M NOT ON ANY OF THESE PROPAGANDA SHEETS!" he yelled, the sheets going in every which way.

Astaroth just stared at his Adviser.

"I bet SILVIUS told them not to include me, that puffed-up jackass!"

After one of the sheets landed on Astaroth's helmet visor, he just gave a deep sigh.

Boris eyed the ocean warily, having the same issue with it as the Earth Elemi. "More or less..." He wasn't sure if he'd be needed though and was seriously considering getting out of going on this underwater adventure.

After creating five satchels of the new smoke bomb and giving them to the scouts as ordered days ago Fidel found himself with nothing to do. Not wanting to risk blowing up his tent again he had taken a break from creating new mixtures and instead headed to the city to do a few performances. People needed to be cheered up right now after all. After almost two weeks of this though he was starting to feel lazy and was now looking for someone to give him something to do. "How come I can't find anyone unless something explodes...?" He grumbled as he wondered around the camp.

Flint nodded to the other air Elmi. "Light feet and flight will be our alias. If there are any good earth Elmi in the area the will be able to 'feel' us moving around," he suggested. "One tipped over stone or bad landing and our cover will be blown."
PostPosted: Sun Jan 13, 2013 12:02 pm
Silvius sighed, looking down at the map from the across the table.
"Your lack of faith doesn't help the situation any, Cain." He said through clenched teeth. "For once we have the upper hand. Why question it?"

Tret looked up the sky, frowning. No clouds, no storm.
"Not right now." He answered, but a grin slowly formed on his face. "Give me some time though. I'm sure I'll come up with something."

Bathsheba nodded, slowly letting out a stressed sigh. she didn't feel as prepared as she needed be, but the time to act was now. She silently hoped she wouldn't screw things up.
"We're to scout the area," she said, pointing a finger in the air. "Get a look of the place, find any weak structures in the town. As soon as we find one, we need to come back and report so the main force knows where to attack. Meanwhile you two," she looked back at Vos and Tret, "are to provide cover, and distraction should anything start noticing us."

---

Issasa rolled her eyes at Darius, snatching up the propaganda that had landed on Astaroth's helm. She looked at it quietly, head tilting to the side a bit.
"...Well, you have to admit," she turned the picture so that the Jun could have a better view of it, "the artist has taste."

Leorine nodded, and looked to Boris, frowning a bit.
"If you wish to remain here, and guard our camp, you may. I'd prefer to not board the ships, so you aren't really needed under the water."

A chuckling voice approached from behind Fidel, a hand coming to rest on his shoulder. Damon smiled at the Crimson Elemi and asked, "Having troubles?"

"Because assuming one side is ignorant is ignorance in itself." Cain replied, looking to Silvius.
"A good strategist thinks of ALL scenarios."

"Understood." Vos replied to Bathsheba after nodding to Tret.
"....One question of curiosity." He said to their leader after a pause.
"If we find civilians, what is our plan?"

--

"....But I don't use a flail..." Astaroth muttered as he looked at the posters as well.
"...I know it's obvious I use a Claymore.."
