Turning to the staircase, she walks to it. "You were the one that was supposed to protect mom. Why weren't you there when she needed you? You could have saved her from dieing." Isabella says as tears start forming in her eyes. "Why did you let her die? That car would have missed her if you saved her. Why didn't you?" As she starts crying, Isabella's gaze goes to the ground. Her mother had been struck by a drunk driver on her way home from the store. It wasn't a long walk but even so Isabella couldn't understand why he hadn't been there to protect her.

 Tsuyoshi ❖ Minori Ryota stared at her stunned " Y-You know?" he asked and looked at Minori who stood at the table with his eyes closed facing the other way. Ryota sighed and walked over to her placing a hand on her shoulder and moved her over to the table " Sit down Isabella." he said as he sat down. He sighed " Isabella the day your mother died I was heartbroken myself." he said " I asked the same question you are now and if I could have I would have helped her but that day I..." he sighed " I was recovering from a previous incident." he said and looked down " I was just recovering trying to heal my wounds and your mother asked me to watch you." he said " If I had known what would happen if I had just felt it I would have tried to save her.' he said " I'm sorry Isabella...I never meant for it to happen...I never wanted you to lose your mother and I certainly never wanted to lose her either....she was my life..I loved her Isabella and I would give anything to have her back but there's nothing I can do now." he said.

Biting the inside of her cheek, Isabella listens to her father as she sits there. After a few moments, she nods her head. Standing, she turns and goes to the stairs. Heading upstairs, she enters her room and shuts the door quietly behind her. Sitting on her bed, she pulls a large stuffed bunny doll to her lap and holds it. She had had the doll ever since she was little and it always reminded her of her mother.

Tsuyoshi ❖ Minori Ryota looked down and shook his head before he looked at Minori " I'll be gone by the time she wakes up tomorrow." he said " Make sure she has a good day at school." he said standing up and going to his room. He was hoping she would never figure it out and ask him about it. When his wife died he knew he would have to take care of Isabella and try to be both her mother and her father but he couldn't be her best friend no matter how much they tired. They clashed and he often had to leave and work and she practically raised herself and no matter how much he tried he could never get close enough. Isabella always gravitated more to her mother than she ever did him and he accepted that. He was glad Minori was here for that reason though Minori was a pervert and to be honest he was a guy so it was in his nature he could be Isabella's best friend and be there for her when Rytoa could not and Ryota knew he could not be there forever and it seemed she was already she was already getting used to Minroi though she was his master he could see a friendship blooming already. He laid down and looked to his left...emptiness. he looked right to see a picture of himself his wife and Isabella when she was just a child. He grabbed the picture and looked at it and sat the words " Together forever.". He missed his wife dearly but he had to make sure Isabella was living a good life. He set the picture down and closed his eyes going to sleep.
Minori went outside and jumped in the tree and laid against the trunk,. Isabella and her father obviously had been through a lot and had much to go through. Minori refused to improve his behavior until the problems they had were resolved and they grew stronger as a family as became from a strong clan and wanted to be around a strong family.

Getting up the next morning, Isabella dresses for school. Dashing downstairs, she grabs her bag and runs out the door. Looking at the watch on her wrist, she groans. "Great I'm going to be late." she mumbles as she runs down the street. Even though she had gotten up earlier then usual but she was going to be late meeting with the music teacher.

 Tsuyoshi ❖ Minori Minori without a word grabbed her and jumped towards the school and landed at the gates once again. He without a word walked into the school and immediately went to close as the teacher instructed him on how to teach the lesson and direct the students as the teacher had some grading he would need to do Minori was in charge of the class for now. Minori actually put her lunch and a note from her father in her backpack along with a picture her father gave him of her mother and him when he was actually a ninja.

Startled, Isabella does and says nothing as they land in front of the school. Taking off for the music room, she smiles at the teacher. "Sorry I'm late." she says. The teacher nods her head before explaining that Isabella was being excused from all her classes for the day to get ready for the school festival that she would be performing at. Nodding, Isabella begins practicing the moment the bell rang. She had several songs that she had to learn but her main piece wasn't going to be the one she sang last night but a song she had to create on her own. That was going to be the hard part.

Tsuyoshi ❖ Minori Minori after class headed to the roof however it was to get fresh air and to relax a little. He sighed " Kids...are so noisy." he said to himself not to mention he had to put up with that same group of girls. He shrugged " Maybe I should go home early again I've finished everything I need to." he said but shivered knowing that if he did there would be a strong chance he would get int so much trouble with Isabella again. He wondered how her classes were going beacuse he hadn't gotten the chance to see her all day.

Sitting on the roof, Isabella looks up at sky and just sits there. Hearing a voice, she turns towards Minori slightly. "Hello Minori." she says to him simply. Her food sat next to her, completely untouched as she hadn't even been able to eat any of it after seeing the note and the picture.

Tsuyoshi ❖ Minori Minori didn't turn to look at her however as he continued to look up at the sky " Good afternoon Ms. Nightroad." he said " So are you going to talk to Ryota?" he asked assuming she read the note Ryota wrote. He yawned " I covered all the basics of algebra...how can they not get it...its so simple." he said " I'd hate to see these kids when they get to physics." he said to himself as he waited for her reply.

"He's my father, how can I not speak to him." she says to him. Falling silent, she stands and leaves her lunch where it is. "I'm not hungry but thank you for making the lunch." she says. Leaving the roof, Isabella heads down the stairs. Seeing Maria, she passes the girl without a word. "Oh not saying anything today Bella?" she asks as she smirks a bit. Turning to look at Maria Isabella takes a breath. Walking to the girl, Isabella pulls her right hand back and punches the girl in the gut. "I'm not in the mood, so learn your place." Isabella says in a cold voice before turning and walking calmly away. Maria stands there, gasping for breath as she looks at Isabella's retreating back.

Tsuyoshi ❖ Minori Minori smiled and watched her walk off as he wasn't hungry either. He went back to class to finish everything for today before he went back to the university. He put everything up before he went home and started to clean and repair the house. Her relationship with her father was a wall at the moment and he couldn't get over the tension in the air and it was throwing him off balance. He was walked on the roof by the time she got home and was using the vacuum. Her father was in his old ninja uniform as it was time Isabella learned everything and she might as well enjoy it beacuse he was still a fool and didn't plan to change no matter how mad she got.

At the end of the school day, Isabella comes home and opens the door. Walking upstairs, she drops her things before going to find her father. Seeing him in an outfit similar to Minori's she just shrugs. "Here, I need you to sign this. Apparently I'm not permitted to punch smartass girls while at school." Isabella says as she places the paper in her hand on the table and goes to the kitchen.

Tsuyoshi ❖ Minori His just threw the paper away " I don't see the problem with that." he said " Anyway Isabella I need to talk to you before I head out..I have some business to attend to back home as it seems I'm also being punished for some odd reason." he said " I think you need to know something about your mother that I'm sure you never noticed...and no I'm not talking about her stash of costumes she has hidden under the floor boards." he said. He looked at her " Minori's taking care of dinner so just sit down alright." he said.

Frowning, Isabella returns to the table and sits down. "Why are you getting into trouble? Don't they know you have a daughter? They can't just take you from me." she says firmly as she stomps her foot a bit.
