Petro had been quietly keeping to himself with little fuss. He was content to be in the fringes when it came to unfamiliar groups, so when their teacher appeared, the tikbalang gave him his full, undivided attention. When he heard it was acting class, Tro thought it would involve stage performances and he joined because he missed the festivals back home where he could dance and sing with his Clansmen. But it wasn't such a bad thing that he did sign up because they were going to be taught how to be scary. Petro thought himself a warrior. Just someone formidable and physical. Not necessarily scary.

So as he watched the others take a shot at scaring the imaginary audience, Tro realized he wasn't all too sure what to do. He also noted there seemed to be an order to follow upon hearing Raziel call for someone else's turn. Oh, well, sorry about that... the tikbalang gave Beatrix an apologetic nod from his spot in front of the chair.

Jack damn it, he'd cut in front of a ghoul. Bad form, Tro, bad form. But he was already there so he might as well follow through. While the others chose to yell or scream, Tro scanned the classroom again and spotted West. Yeah, the wrath demon gave a pretty good display earlier. Wordlessly, he marched up to the other boil, and promptly reached down, grabbing the chair's leg and lifting it up with one arm.

With West still in it.

The muscles flexed and contracted but Tro looked like he was hardly exerting any effort in it. Brown eyes fixed themselves at the Imaginary Audience's chair, his free hand gesturing to himself with his thumb, the same hand opening before he clenched it into a tight fist, and finally pointing a finger at invisible target.

Translation: I will crush you.

Riley got up and accidentally bumped into Calder. She promises this is completely an accident.

Oh, my. How clumsy of me. Bumping into you when there is no legitimate reason for me to do so.

Her face lifted innocently.

West was barely back in his seat when he was forced to his feet again. No, wait, he wasn't standing at all. His chair was was hovering in the air and he was being made an example of by some hulking mohawked monster. West said nothing, too surprised by the entire situation to do much more than stare.

When Petro put him back down, he glanced at Calder and shrugged, his eyes wide.

Yeah, that had just happened.

At the appearance of the door in the floor, Calder had been first worried that the entire floor was full of traps and looked down at his hooves as if a door would open and drop him into the dark. When he looked back up, all his worries were forgotten an his mouth slightly opened. A hand, and then another, but it was the slow appearance of a nice set of curvacious horns that made him lean a little more in his seat. Things slowed down a moment as the tips of the horns winded to a thicker length to a firm base, placed upon a crown of blood red. Demon or Monster, Calder didn't care. A nice rack was a nice rack.

Just as the teacher introduced himself, Calder leaned back into his seat, looking more at the teacher's crown than at the chair. The stage lights, though blinding, reflected nicely off the horns. Smiling, he managed to get the basic instructions and watched as West went over to scary the invisible audience. To Calder, he just imagined it was like a ghost who was sitting there, but not seen. When it came to imagination, he certainly did not have a short supply.

Then West went and gave his own spooky display. Calder clapped for him, patting him on the arm for a job well done when he sat down. And then Petro, Calder's Bruteball teammate, came over and picked West up and carried him over to the chair and then back. While West just seemed more surprised, Calder was faintly brushing. Carrying someone meant a lot where he came from, and he couldn't help shake off that feeling that Petro might like West.

A little shocked at that, he rose up only to be bumped again. Nearly stumbling, he looked up when Riley pranced by, pretending she had just been clumsy. Yeah. RRRrriiiggghhhttt.

Frowning, he rose his hand up quickly. "Mr. Hor- Rengath. Riley felt up my kilt!" Then he mentally sent her a message too. Oops. My hand shot up on accident.

Rising up, he walked past the Mindflayer and watched her take a seat. Without his natural form, Calder knew that he could be scary in another way. He tore this book right out of the clan-member that always freaked him out.

Flicking his hair over his shoulders, he walked up to the chair and then stood straight, chin slightly tilted up, and settled his dark, green eyes on the chair. He didn't need to say anything, but he slowly narrowed his eyes at it. A good glare was a kelpie work of art and one he was still mastering, but he put all his effort into it. He felt it spoke for itself to unsettle the ghost audience he had.

When it went on enough to make anyone in said chair feeling very worried, or so Calder felt, he turned back around and headed back to his seat. Kelpies didn't jump out of bushes. They didn't make loud noises or have claws and fangs. They used their appearance and their eyes. He hoped he made his kind proud.

With that, he settled in his seat.

Bul's humble conversation was interrupted by the burst of light behind him and as the demon instructor emerged the boil rolled his eyes. "Jack not another one.." he sighed to himself. Kalovros ran a very Blue vibe towards him and considering this was his second artsy class he wasn't exactly thrilled to have a stiff teaching it. Well, a stiff by his own observation.

'the ones who break the rules'

How shall I go about granting that wish then.. He smirked outwardly to himself and slouched in his seat as he listened. It wasn't until the professor began to speak of learning how to be more scary that the half beast became HIGHLY intrigued. A spikey tail curled in delight and even in the condition he was in, Bul could never ever turn down and opportunity to be intimidating.

All that mattered now was whether he would succeed!

Standing up the monster experienced an unbearable tinge of pain in his injured leg and came crashing into the floor in a heap, wincing. "Fuuuuck... jack damnit.."

When he set West down, the horse boil gave nod of gratitude, along with a remark of "Thanks for not making a fuss." Honestly, after seeing how the Fitness Club reacted when Lattice accidentally sat down on him, Tro was expecting a punch to the face after they returned to their seats. He didn't know if this disappointed him.

He was also unaware of what lifting someone meant to Calder but had thankfully missed the blush. He did not, however, miss the accusation that Riley would feel him up. A square-root brow quirked as brown eyes blinked towards the direction of the mind flayer. When the kelpie returned from his scare, Tro couldn't help but admit, "Think y're mistaken, Calder. Ain't sounds like something Riley'd do. But y' got a real good glare." Sorry, Calder, Bruteball teammate or no, Petro gave ghouls the benefit of the doubt.

The crash had Petro instinctively getting to his feet, shifting into a stance. Maybe he had been a little... twitchy as of late, having heard of the ongoings during the last field trip. Realizing it was Bul, the tikbalang trotted over to the half-beast, "Oks lang? Err, y' okay there?" he asked, offering a hand.

Willow paused looking at the instructor as he appeared. Squinting a little when the light flashed on. "Interesting...." She mused as she watched him and listened ears perking as he spoke about learning to be more scary.

She squeaked when Bul fell, "Are you okay?" She asked looking a bit worried for the boil before noticing it was her turn. She started heading that way when she suddenly tripped over something spiky. The tiger took a fall and landed on her face "FFF--.... ouch." She pushed herself so she was sitting up rubbing her nose, "Ah ha... ha.... this is embarrassing.."

Her ears fell as she looked over to the teacher. This class wasn't getting off to a good foot. Hopefully the next task would go better.

Bul let out a flustered sigh as he pushed himself off of the ground. At this point he was quite aware of his clumsiness and hoped that everyone else was used to it as well. Bul would rather be known for being a bit of a throw rug rather than just constantly getting the s**t end of life. At least being a throw rug meant you liked to throw down. More or less.

Then Willow went and tripped over his tail- Bul let out a short squeak of pain like someone had punched him in the butt. "YIIIPE- Oh s**t sorry Willow.." he bit his lip.

As Tro approached he brushed himself off and smiled uneasily. "Yea thanks Tro, just a little gimp still is all," he said as if it were no big deal.

Scratching unceremoniously at the back of her head, Lark peered at the acting teacher before a loud snort rose from the ghoul. Scary? Lark could manage that. She could even do it by herself, because Jack knew Ben's face was enough to scare even the most stalwart. That thought threw Lark into a slew of giggles, and on her way to do the task at hand she stumbled into a cat-like ghoul with a mile-long tail.

It went downhill from there.

Tripping on her own feet, Lark backed into a demon-boil with red hair. She might've even stepped on his foot, Lark wasn't sure.

"Aaghh! Nearly went arse over tit, there! Sorry, sorry. Was just thinkin' 'bout me mate and it sent me off into the giggles."

o3o went Mortimer's face when he heard the ghoul's response.

o www o went Mortimer's face when he saw the spiky-haired boil's show of strength.

And then back to o3o he went as the reaper girl with the funny accent tripped over the demon from before. Even "Shu" seemed to have issues.

It sorta made him feel better knowing the upperclassmen weren't all pros at it, as shallow as that seemed. "Is Mortimer, but Mort is short. Whathey say?" Mort whispered to Taryn, referring to her notes.

Tahki scratched the back of her head mirroring Xiu. The zombie boys attention had been drawn else where which hadn't given Tahki enough time to agree with him that yes she wasn't very good at acting. Julians smile caught Tahki's attention though. She hadn't noticed him coming in, mostly because she'd been trying not to be too obvious her self. She gave him a wave.

Before she could say anything else to Xiu or anyone else, the teacher appeared with their instructions. He wanted them to... be scary? Her ears flattened.

Xiu brought her back though. She gave the Baku a small smile.

And she tried to scare her imagary person best she could but all and all she ended looking pretty silly at the end of it. It was a very mild and mediocre attempt and some how along the way she lost her balance and bumped into Muka.

Just when he thought the random stumbling had come to an end, West was backed into by an extremely giggly blonde ghoul. All that laughing. It was unnatural.

"Uh, jus' watch yerself," he muttered, too disturbed by the odd turns this class was taking to retaliate. What had all of that meant? This one talked worse than the tatzel.

Well... Holly failed that lesson didn't she. She'd tried her hardest and sadly got no where. Okay, she didn't really try. There was so much going on in there, mostly people bumping into one another, that she couldn't concentrate. The ghoul hoped that she'd get a chance to redeem herself. While others were still trying, she went and sat a few seats away from West who just had some time in the air. What was that about exactly. Strange....popular one, wasn't he? "So, nice fear display? Have to do better myself next time." Since she was convinced there would defiantly be a next time.

The ghoul looked to Levi and patted one of the chairs next to her. Hopefully they'd get a little catch up time while the rest of the class was finishing the exercise.

Taryn offered her notebook out, revealing to Mort a set of obsessively neat notes. Apparently some pretty terrible things could happen if you and your summon were not the best of friends. After a moment of showing, the ghoul gently pulled he boo back and let it sit in her lap. A lot of her peers were doing a lot better than she had, but she was trying her damndest to ignore it.

"I'm Taryn. It's nice to meet you, Mort." The chimera offered her hand for a nice, solid shake.
