Adam blinked as a man appeared before his sensei, his brother, and himself. The child was a tad bewildered as to what he was seeing and before the boy could yell out to him he was being dragged away, "H-Hey!!! Is daddy Ok? Is he alright?" He yelled out to him as he was tugged by his brother off into the distance.

Kurai stood in the middle of training grounds. Her eyes glanced over to see her sensei standing in the area. She was curious as to what he wanted however without a doubt possibly training. However she had hit the peak of her training right? She couldn't learn anything else until she entered the chuunin exams and became a chuunin. Even then. Who knows when that would take place.

Kiyoshi looked at his student with a look of seriousness. "How good is your visualization?" He asked, it was a weird question but a very important one. "How good is your memory? How good are you at recalling details down to the very last insignificant detail." Kiyoshi continued with his barrage of questions.

She thought about it and spoke honestly. "Excellent. I still remember the image of the man who killed me. Short black hair, green eyes like emeralds, no headband, the scared face he held, like he didn't even want to be there... Like he didn't even want to kill. A scar going from his eye down to his neck. Like it was done by a kunai. He had to be barely twenty as well." She answered him still remaining calm as she went over the details demonstrating her memory and recalling details.

Kiyoshi just kind of blinked as she spoke, a simple yes would have sufficed. "I'm going to teach you some of my personal jutsu that is the foundation for my abilities. They of course require almost flawless visualization." He said as he held out his hand and what looked like a ball of chakra formed in his hand. He squeezed it tightly and it expanded to the size of kunai, with a tighter squeeze it expanded to the size of a sword. "This is the basic step, being able to gather and shape your chakra with your mind, just thinking about the most basic structure, the length and the size. Now you try." Kiyoshi said dismissing the blade.

Kurai got the hint and began concentrating on her chakra. She began to copy his movements exactly creating a small ball of chakra. The ball was perhaps smaller than a baseball as she continued to concentrate.

The ball was squeezed by her glove hand slowly. Making it into another object entirely. A kunai of pure chakra began to form in her hand as she squeezed it tighter. Upon fully squeezing the handle like it was a real kunai it became fully formed.

As she began to squeeze it a bit tighter it began to lengthen even more to the size of a sword. Although Kurai wasn't as strong as Kiyoshi she was possibly proving she was indeed a quick learner.

Kiyoshi smiled as he summoned a basic sword to his hand. "The next jutsu is used while holding any weapon or object. By focusing chakra into the object you can increase its properties. Blades will become sharper, clubs will be stronger, staffs will become harder. This is done by understanding the internal structure of things and enhancing them." He said as he focused his chakra into the blade, but it didn't give off an aura or anything. It didn't even look like anything changed about it, at least to the untrained eye. The blade was sharper and stronger, it would take a lot to break the blade.

Kurai listened to him and nodded in understanding. To make note of the difference she summoned a katana forged of chakra. She swiped at the ground with as much might as she could muster and it dug deep within the ground.

Beginning to concentrate more chakra within the chakra weapon she could feel it. She could honestly feel the weapon itself becoming stronger in a strange way. She swiped at the ground once more with the same amount of strength. The swipe dug even deeper within the ground. She looked to her sensei curious of what he was going to teach her next.

Kiyoshi nodded as he held out his hand and a blade appeared in his hand. "This next jutsu I used before I mastered my summoning, using the same properties as the chakra weapons you make a weapon that looks completely realistic down to the molecular level. Though it looks real it is made of chakra, and most of the chakra is used to maintain its shape and form." Kiyoshi said throwing the blade to the ground and it stayed. "When you let go of the chakra weapons from the jutsu eariler they disappear. So this is an added bonus if you need to throw weapons, however." Kiyoshi then stomped on the blade and it broke and faded away. "They aren't very strong, they will survive 2-3 hits before breaking apart." He said giving her an idea of the jutsu.

Kurai began to concentrate upon her chakra watching Kiyoshi perform his jutsu. She was somewhat curious of the usefulness of this jutsu until Kiyoshi explained a little bit more about it.

She continued concentrating upon her chakra while holding out her hand. She was looking at it intently. She knew the weapon she wanted to make was going to require a little bit more chakra.

When she felt something manifest she grabbed ahold of the handle. A katana began to form and she stabbed it into the ground. She looked to Kiyoshi curious at to what was next.

Kiyoshi smiled as he summoned four blades now. He held two of them while the other 2 floating next to him as like being held by some invisible force. "This is the next step the Advance Creation. You are able to summon up to four weapons at once, and two of them have the power to levitate near you and strike with your mind. Though they won't be as fast as yourself wielding them, they can be very handy" He said explaining this jutsu.

Ayane watched as Kiyoshi summoned two blades and the other two were floating in the air. She found this jutsu to be very useful as she began to already plan ways to utilize this jutsu.

She closed her eyes as she felt the need to concentrate a bit before even attempting this jutsu. This technique would require knowledge upon everything she has learned so far... wouldn't it?

Her thoughts were focusing on the fact that weapons would become not an additional limb. But an extension of her arm. She would be more proficient in blade wielding as long as she followed Kiyoshi's training.

She had to become a better weapon wielder. She just had to. Not only to better protect herself. But the one that she cared for... and the ones that Ayane cared for. She'd protect them all. And she would get Shukaku back at all costs.

Concentrating on her chakra slowly making it rise she began to feel the same way as she did with the scrolls. She ran chakra through her entire body at an accelerated rate. The chakra almost felt liberating as it flowed through her body like this.

She held out her hand focusing her chakra into that hand. At first it was merely chakra that began to take shape within her hand. Then the chakra began to take physical shape.

Kurai stabbed the katana into the ground and focused a little bit more. She went through the same process a second time. First forming a weapon from chakra. Then making it physically take shape.

She stabbed the second katana into the ground and felt as if she was getting closer to perfecting this. She stood up and held both of her arms out. Concentrating chakra into both of her hands this time.

She was doing two things at once this time so it was taking a little be more effort. The katanas upon the ground... she felt weird at first however the feeling passed as she could actually feel them.

As the feeling continued of the extension of her arms chakra was slowly forming into katanas. Although they weren't all the way formed yet it was at this point Kiyoshi may understand Kurai was a special student.

Very talented indeed. As the chakra formed into katanas she concentrated further. This made the katanas in her hands physically form into weapons. She opened her eyes feeling the jutsu.

She wielded the blades efficiently as the katanas in the ground began to shake. Little by little they began to raise from the ground until Kurai smiled under her mask. The katanas flew into the air and began to float in the air and she looked at Kiyoshi still waiting for more if there was any. Suddenly she felt the need to move on to the next section of her training as she inherited the knowledge from her clone. She was now a chuunin.

Kurai went a little bit further in her training as she summoned her great sword and decided to train a bit more. She used what sand jutsu she did know and summoned sand weights upon her body.

The weights would equal to the weight of her great sword. She stabbed her great sword into the ground to get herself used to the weight first. She knew this would honestly be a challenge.

She began to take a few steps at first getting used to the weight of it. She closed her eyes concentrating only upon the weight of what she was carrying. Still walking around she sped up only slightly.

After a few more minutes she managed to speed up a bit more. Going into a moderate paced walk. It was somewhat stunning that she was accelerating at this quick of a rate.

She began to continue that pace of walk and felt the burn of her muscles. They were starting to tear and grow stronger. The stronger she became the more devastating of a foe she would become.

She continued at the pace still until she felt the need to pick it up. The fast walk turned into a slow jog as she was increasing her training. Making it highly efficient she turned it into a quicker jog.

Finally she ended this portion of her training by moving around in a full sprint. After a minute of full sprinting a normal person would have been sweating like a pig with this kind of weight upon their body. After the second minute she stopped and began to stretch.

As she began to stretch the weight began to slow her down once more. She knew that she was almost through it. Stretching slowly she began to test her muscle's strength.

She went over to her great sword after her stretches. Her muscles were getting sore at this moment… to anyone else they would probably call it a day at this point. But not Kurai… She was starting to actually feel alive for once in her new life.

She grabbed the great sword and struggled lifting it at this moment. The reason behind this was the great sword weighed enough but with the sand weights upon her body it was like carrying one as well as wielding one. Slowly but surely she managed to pull it from the ground and rested it upon her shoulder.

She began to swing it her great sword slowly. Focusing more on being able to control the weight of the great sword and weights rather than simply rushing through it like a wild boar. Although no sweat formed on her body she would be sweating like a madman as of right now if she could.

After a while the swings became easier and easier. She used her Taijutsu to focus the strikes as well. Something Kiyoshi may notice and be somewhat impressed hopefully. The final test arrived and she released the weights from her body and began to swing. The strikes were insanely devastating as she launched a strike at a tree. The tree fell with ease to the large great sword. Satisfied with her training she sealed the weapon into her tattoo and looked to her sensei.

Kurai hit her training head on yet again after she was handed a katana. She stabbed the katana into the ground and smiled under her mask. She used hand signs for this jutsu and quickly activated it. Her body sunk into the ground and she was actually able to move under it. She surfaced above ground after a couple of minutes. That jutsu she performed was actually pretty fun to her.

Kurai began to raise her chakra for the next justu as she began hand signs. This was going to be a long day and she knew it. Using the jutsu a clone was created from the earth and she goofed off with it for a bit before releasing the jutsu.

Kurai started on the next set of hand signs finding this jutsu actually pretty useful. She began to think on how to use it properly until the jutsu was activated. She plunged her fingers into the ground pulling up a part of the earth. The piece of earth formed into a shield that was three inches thick and five feet in radius.

Kurai tossed the shield down and began to concentrate on her chakra. She would use this one on Kiyoshi and perhaps he might laugh about it. She used the jutsu and then placed her hands upon the ground. Kiyoshi may find himself moving back several feet because of the jutsu. Kurai chuckled a bit as she stood up.

As soon as Kiyoshi may have said something about it he wouldn’t be able to find Kurai. She had already used the next jutsu as he was being pushed back by the conveyor belt of earth. After a minute she stood up and her camouflage disappeared. She had made herself look like a boulder.

Kurai used the earlier jutsu on Kiyoshi because she knew she would need room for this next one. Upon fully reaching the chakra output require she used hand signs. With the jutsu being activated she slammed her hands onto the ground hard causing six inch spikes to cover a twenty five foot radius around her.

Kurai focused and used a set of hand signs while concentrating. Upon the extent of her concentration she utilized the jutsu and placed her hand upon the ground. She could feel the presence of multiple animals walking around but no people. Kiyoshi was the only one there with her apparently.

Kurai stood up already working on her chakra output. She matched the hand signs to what Kiyoshi had shown her and then concentrated even further. Upon using the jutsu the ground rose quickly underneath her. She was at the center of the mound as it rose to ten feet.

Kurai jumped down from the mound and began to focus on the mound. Using hand signs and utilizing chakra she used the jutus flawlessly. An opening appeared into the mound and she stepped inside of it. The mound was somewhat cramped inside however it contained a bed of earth as well as a chair.

Kurai wrote on a note and then began using hand signs. She pushed the note into the ground and used the jutsu. The note quickly travelled to Kiyoshi and rose above the ground for him to read. ‘Do you think I earned my rank?’ It would ask if he read it.

Grabbing some dirt she placed it upon her shoulder and began using hand signs for this next jutsu. This jutsu seemed odd to her as she activated it however. The dirt upon her shoulder formed into rope and shot its way into the mound wrapping around the chair.

Concentrating on this next jutsu she used one from earlier. Focusing on her chakra yet again she knew she had to maintain complete focus for this to work at all. Sighing softly the concentration of her chakra took top priority in all honesty.

Still concentrating on her chakra she began to use hand signs slowly. She had already done the first portion of this jutsu however she didn’t want to mess up. After all her whole goal was to be a pure prodigy.

She used the jutsu and slowly pressed her hands into the ground. Crouching down her fingers dug into the earth focusing on her chakra output within the ground. She could feel her chakra pouring into the earth as she focused on it.

Others might find it odd to be able to feel their chakra pouring through the earth. However, Kurai was different, She loved it in all honestly. The feeling of being one with the earth was wonderful to her.

Kurai felt as if she had done enough concentrating and decided it was time for her to use the jutsu. Pouring more of her chakra within the ground she focused on it making it rise up from the ground. Six inch spikes covered the earth in a twenty five foot radius yet again.

Using a single hand sign after that the spikes shot up into the air. They soared through the air until eventually gravity pulled them back down. Kurai remained in the same position as they fell into the exact same spot as they were.

Kurai released the jutsu causing all the spikes to mold back into the earth. She smiled underneath her mask as she was hitting the jutsu that Kiyoshi wanted her to learn head on. Possibly making him proud that she was his student.

She knelt down and grabbed some of the dirt from the earth and held it within her hand. She began to concentrate her chakra within the dirt and found this to be somewhat difficult. The problem was her chakra had to combine the dirt into a solid chunk first.

She became slightly frustrated as she wasn’t quite able to clump all the dirt together like she wanted to. This was going to be a very slow process. However she did notice that some of the dirt was clumping together.

It was in multiple clumps however it was a start wasn’t it? That was the whole point of training was to slowly but surely learn something. At least in her opinion that’s what the point of it was.

Eventually the clumps began to form into a larger one. She smiled as she held onto one solid clump and began to manipulate it with her chakra. The first thing she did was squeeze the clump a bit and a handle was made.

The handle was about the size of a katana’s handle. She was creating a challenge for herself as she was making the earth sword large than what it should be. With the chakra manipulating the earth within her hand it slowly grew to the size of a large katana.

Upon using this jutsu Kurai knew it would end up looking dead like a normal earth clone jutsu. However the difference with this one was it was made of lava and would possibly burn whoever touched it. A very effective clone in all honesty.

With this jutsu she’d have to concentrate upon the earth itself as well. The clone was going to emerge from the earth… Who knew in all honesty how deep in the earth the magma was.

She bit her lip as this jutsu was going to be somewhat of a disaster if it didn’t work quick enough. She began to think it over as she was thinking of the depth at which the magma may be. If the clone couldn’t be created quickly she honestly didn’t see a use for it at all.

She wasn’t about to tell Kiyoshi that however. But yet again… she was going to give the jutsu a chance. If it could be used quickly and efficiently then she was going to use it. That was the end of that in her mind.

Placing her hand upon the ground she began to concentrate on it. Seeing how loose the soil was to better enable the use of this jutsu. Without a second thought she stood up and began using hand signs for the jutsu.

She raised her chakra output and then slowly began to use hand signs. She began to use hand signs at a quicker rate until she utilized the jutsu. It took barely two seconds for a clone to emerge from the ground. It looked exactly like a doton clone jutsu however she knew the secret of it.

Kurai waved goodbye to her clone as she did indeed find the jutsu useful. She would use it in combat if the situation called for a little bit more of a punch. The clone bowed like an actor upon a stage causing Kurai to giggle as she released the jutsu.

This next jutsu was honestly a bit confusing to Kurai. This was a jutsu that wasn’t invented during her time which was confusing her some what. As she was listening to Kiyoshi explain the jutsu he mentioned the word ‘cannon’ more than once.

What the hell was a cannon? The curiosity of what this word was overwhelming her. Soon she blocked out everything for the sake of her training and continued to listen to her sensei.

She began to think of what a cannon was until he saw that she didn’t quite understand. He then went into a somewhat detail lacking explanation. His explanation was it shoots a ball out and she found that ever so helpful

She copied his hand signs and eventually memorized them. Still the thought of what a cannon was, was tearing into her mind. Once more blocking all thoughts out she memorized the hand signs.

She used the jutsu once her chakra output was right. What occurred was mud began to form above ground in the shape of a dragons head. She watched curiously as the dragons head launched a large ball of mud at a tree. The mud ball tore through the tree making it fall over.

She felt ecstatic as she finally learned what a cannon was and what it could do. Smiling underneath her mask she looked over to Kiyoshi to see his expression. She was confused for a second as his face was blank.

Kiyoshi reminded her of her former sensei when she was actually alive. Never pleased with anything she did. Feeling the desire to get appreciation she moved forward in her training yet again.

She began to focus on her chakra pouring it into the earth. This technique didn’t require her to pour chakra into the earth however she felt as if it would make this jutsu easier. After all anything that would aid a shinobi greatly they would use no matter who they were.

She got a sense of how the earth was… The properties of it and how soft or hard it was in areas underground. Knowing is half the battle. Or at least that was something that was preached in her village when she was alive.

She began to use hand signs slowly mastering yet another jutsu. As she used the hand signs she began to concentrate on her chakra output. Slowly increasing it until the jutsu was good to use.

Once the jutsu was good to use she utilized it and felt her body slowly bury into the ground. This somewhat disturbed her at first. She liked the feeling of being one with the earth but not literally. She quickly thought of a place and she quickly appeared next to Kiyoshi above ground.

It took her a couple of moments to realize what exactly that jutsu was for. It was an escape method that was extremely fast. It was similar to other techniques of different natures. She realized the name of it was Shunshin no jutsu.

That jutsu was used in many different ways with many different elements. The one common factor was the fact it required only a single hand sign and utilized extreme speed. Most of them an escape method. An occasional were transportation methods as well.

Moving onto the next jutsu she wasn’t quite sure how to control it. She didn’t want to even accidently hurt Kiyoshi. Even though that it may not be possible for her.

She glanced over at Kiyoshi and decided that it wasn’t possible for her to harm him. Not at her current level. If she did it would be a pure accident more than likely. Although… if she tried hard enough she may impress him.

Using hand signs she hit another jutsu head on as she increased her chakra output. Slowly but surely mastering the hand signs until she memorized it fully. Her chakra reached the correct point as well and she sighed under her mask.

She used the jutsu and she felt another connection to something. She could literally feel the earth below her feet. She realized how this jutsu is used and felt relieved. Dozens of spears shot out from the earth around her defensively at first but then it began to go in one direction towards an opponent almost.

She stopped using the jutsu and then concentrated on her chakra. She grabbed a spear and pulled it from the ground. With a mighty throw it flew from her hand into yet another tree.

She giggled under her mask slightly as she was loving the feeling of being this strong yet again. Although she wasn’t that strong she still felt it. No reason to pop that thought right?

Turning back to her training she wasn’t able to move the spears back within the earth as the jutsu was ended. A smile came across her face yet again as she’d have to use this next jutsu to aid her. She was going to do exactly that as well.

Thinking about this jutsu there was a problem though. This jutsu required an object to be hit to cause an explosion. With that she felt somewhat idiotic as she came up with a solution rather quickly.

She crouched down slightly using hand signs for this next jutsu. She felt as if she wasn’t fast enough in her training so she needed to pick up the pace. With that her chakra sky rocketed.

Using the jutsu she disappeared and a boulder replaced her body. She appeared in the distance and threw a senbon at the boulder. Once the senbon connected with the boulder it exploded causing the spears to crumble back upon the earth.

At first Kurai was worried about shrapnel from the spears but luckily there was none. That’d be a big pain in the a** if there was so she began to think tactically with that jutsu. She would have to use that jutsu at the last second as a failsafe of sorts.
