O'Sullivan nodded, "French food isn't all that bad." He smiled remembering it from the War, "Do we need to go by your apartment to change, or do you have your clothes here?" He wasn't sure which he wanted more, to go to dinner first, or to go to her apartment? Ontop of the emotional attraction the pair felt, O'Sullivan and Roxy enjoyed a vary active physical relationship, which he enjoyed almost as much as he enjoyed the emotions that he was feeling towards the girl. So the toss up of a romantic dinner, or a quick tostle at her apartment intrigued him.

"I always have a spare just in case, I know what I wear here isn't appropriate for some places. Society doesn't appreciate me showing off my gams they are still in the Victorian era as you probably know. I also wanted to have us go somewhere that is safe." She said. She didn't know what he wanted exactly. She thought he wanted to go out to dinner.

O'Sullivan nodded, "It's a shame, those are great gams." He laughed lightly as he finished reading the inventory checklist and signed off on it, before tucking it back into the envelope, "I'm just about done here if you want to go get yourself ready. We can leave whenever you're set." he smiled looking forward to their first official date, partially because up to this point O'Sullivan had been peniless. It was only through his employment for O'Connor that he'd made enough money to treat Roxy the way she deserved.

"Unfortuantly the public won't have it, especially the older women." Roxy laughed. "Yes, why don't I get dressed." She said strutting away to get a real dress which the public would approve of. She went into the dressing room and grabbed a pale antique pink dress which was above the knees with a ivory lace overlay. It was pretty and sweet for a dress for something modest. She did feel however that he'd still admire her because it was form fitting yet was formal. Roxy reapplied some lipstick and some perfume before coming back.

O'Sullivan smiled as she walked away. He quickly finished up his paperwork, and walked over to Eugene, "Could you make sure the boss gets this? I've looked them all over and everything's there." He smiled, "Looks like I've got a date." He smiled as Roxy came back. he breathed in her perfume and he smiled at her scent, "Are you ready to go doll?" He asked wondering how the night would play out. Would they have a nice meal and part ways, or would they enjoy eachother's company in the privacy of their own home?

"You must not have been here long, Cicero is a neighborhood in Chicago." She said bluntly casting a doubtful eye at him. She was not sure how he could not have know that, after all it was infamous not but two streets down the already legendary Capone made his residence. Perhaps he was just some low level knee breaker after all, and was merely trying to impress with his tales of being a gun specialist. After all why not Chicago was a city built on lies and deceptions!

He quickly took the folder and placed it beneath the bar along side the register to keep it safe. "you guys don't have too much much fun now." He called after the couple teasingly, before returning to his work. He didn't think they would mind since they were so public with their displays of affection and their relationship in general. Anything goes..he thought as he shook his head the world before the Great War would not recognize the one that was left in the wake of that world shattering conflict and the tragedy of the Spanish influenza that grew out of it. So many had died that those left alive wanted to live it out, as best they could and it would seem old morals be damned.

"I'm not let out much to explore." He said looking down. "Not with England wanting my head." He looked at Shayla. "I am a gunsmith. A brilliant one at that." He gave a weak smile. "Since you know the city better and I need a new jacket. I will make you a custom pistol." He extended his hand. "Do we got a deal?"

"Yes I am ready." She said giving him a seductive look as she indicated she was ready to go. She was looking forward to tonigh's dinner. She was also hoping that some night he'd be up for a night of dancing at a big band Jazz club. Those clubs had a lot of blacks and whites but never usually a gang scene. She walked with him out to the street where they would walk to dinner.

O'Sullivan tossed a look over his shoulder to the bar-keep, "Oh I'll take good care of her, so I will." He smiled and walked off. He knew they were a bit public with their relationship, but Roxy made him feel that comfortable. He took her arm and the two sauntered off into the night. O'Sullivan knew that they would grab dinner, but then what? There were so many options in the Chicago of the 1920s that he was having a hard time deciding what he wanted to do after. Perhaps Roxy would have an idea, she seemed much more intouch with the popular world than he was. He had lost touch with the war and now the Mob... it seemed all he had time for was work.

"I have no need of your services, firearms have never done anyone in my family any good." Her words were edged in venom as she remembered seeing the bullet riddled corpses of her father and brothers. "However if you wish to know the city and get your boss O'Connor to pat you on the head and say 'aren't you a good boy' I could show you where your competition is and where one might procure objects that would otherwise be most difficult or even impossible to come by." She said knowingly as she opened her cigarillo case and placed one of them in her blood red lips. "want one?" She asked as she held it out to the young man.

Eugen Greenly [NPC]
Eugen smirked and looked back to his work. Eugene never had anyone to call his own, he was a street rat and like many others he had volunteered to fight in the Great War, came home to nothing and became a hopeless derelict. The shrinking of the armed forces after the war hurt a lot of guys, and with no one else to help him he had gotten into trouble. That is when O'Connor snagged him before he did anything overly stupid and had him as bar keep in his little gin joint. Sure it was illegal but it beat soup lines and boarding rooms. Eugene never wanted to be part of the 'action' and 'excitement' of the streets, he had seen enough of that in France. Here he was content enough to make enough money to keep a nice apartment and live a 'clean' life, he only wished he too could find someone special maybe then he could have a family, something he had always wanted.

"I don't smoke. Not from working with my dad in the forges." He said. "But if it helps the Irish I'm game." He smiled. "I can do knives if you want." He remembered supplying the Irish during the rebellion. "I was raised to pay for what I can if it helps the Irish." He looked at her. "What can I do to repay you?"

"I doubt you have anything I need or would want. But, for the sake of your pride I will trade service for information. I need to know who ordered a hit about a year ago that took place on the first Sunday in January. Five men were killed one Italian Don and four Irishmen who were in the wrong place at the wrong time, and nothing more. I want to know who ordered it. Find me that and I will alter any garment you wish." This was business, she finally may have found someone to gather information, she was done cat pawing around! Snapping shut her cigarillo case she dropped it back in her purse and began to look for her lighter.

"A shooting from last year." He leaned back and scratched his head. "Would either be an FBI, French, or German group." He looked at her. "I will see what I can dig up. All files are kept beyond my work shop in the basement." He smiled. "Otherwise I can see if I can talk to some friends who are on the police force." He thought a bit more. "You have a name from one of the men?"
