Indeed no answer came from Seth as he lay slumped against the support beam. The Mewtwo staring him down for a moment before approaching and reaching her hand towards him... However, she paused, glancing up as she sensed humans and their Pokemon approaching. Taking several steps back, the Mewtwo's eyes narrowed... then widened in alarm as dark Pokemon appeared. She had never truly encountered this type before, and the fact that she could not sense them nor hear their thoughts, frightened her.

The eyes of the psychic Pokemon were than aglow and the loud moaning of metal echoed through the corridor as a steel bulkhead was ripped from its moorings. The metallic shield placed before the Mewtwo just as the fleet of Pokemon went on the attack.

Nearly panic stricken, "Koshka" huddled behind her protective barrier, knowing that she stood no chance in a fight. The shrieking of claws against the metal making her shudder, and the flames of the fire types blasting against the steel and causing it to glow with heat.

"Leave me alone!" the Mewtwo screamed through telepathy. Wrenching her eyes shut, she fought back in the only way she could think of. Using telekinesis to rip jagged pieces of the super heated metal from her shield and firing them out in a spread at her attackers. The hot shards of shrapnel threatening to rip through anything they came in contact with.

While Absol felt his attack make contact, slicing deeply into the large metal shield that the Mewtwo had mad out of the bulkhead. It had been a good attack, but it didn't hit its mark, though from the looks of it none of the other attacks had either.

This meant it was time for a different approach, if the Mewtwo thought that the metal would protect it for long, it was sourly mistaken.
... Thought it didn't take long for the Shield to be made into a weapon, as Absol found shards of glowing hot metal tear through the air.
Darkened eyes widened in surprise, leaping back quickly, using the best of his training to dodge the flying shards.

~~~~
The best of his training, the best of Umbreon's training, though missions and battle and every order, Umbreon could execute a number of moves and easily dodge a clumsy attack like that.
He was tensed and ready to move on instinct the moment the shards started to fly.
Had it mapped out in his head within an instant, just like always.
He would jump to the side, where he noticed an opening, rebound and get a clear shot at the now exposed Mewtwo,
As for the shards? Well, the shards would simply fly on past and-
... And hit Seth.
Within that split instant Umbreon had the opening to act to react, the entire plan changed then and there.
Within that tiny window there was no doubt in the Pokemon's mind what his move would be.
His ears didn't press back all the way, before they were jolted forward again with a sharp stagger back without so much as a whine as five gleaming shards about as long as his leg hit him full on, two of them tore right through the thick skinned pokemon, while the other three imbedded about half way into his chest, thigh and shoulder.
His eyes widened, instantly feeling the head burn his flesh as the imbedded metal hissed and boiled his skin. Still, he refused to move away from the higher ranked Rocket.
"Bre!" He pokemon coughed and a mouthful of blood splattered onto the floor.
[Floor 2 - Jerome, Alba]
Inigo frowned as he looked where Spook was pointing, almost immediately before the announcement sounded above them. It was hard to see much in the dim emergency lighting, but he could see Alba gripping another pokeball. Well, he might as well do the same, right? "Maybe it's another of the whatever it is downstairs? Rotom or something," he suggested as he pulled out a pokeball and released his Chimecho.
Oriana chimed uncertainly as she appeared, frightened by the strange lighting and why everyone seemed so tense, but the grunt simply patted her head (all of her? Chimecho and Chingling didn't really... you know what it was too complicated, he didn't want to think about it right now.) "I guess we go this way and figure out what's going on, huh?" He suggested with a shrug and a half-smile, and turned to start walking towards where Spook had pointed to, Oriana hovering over and almost physically attached to his shoulder.
[Floor 1 - Frost, KO, Harvard, Rotom]
At the announcement, Claire couldn't help but shift her glance to the elevators. She didn't like them anyway - not that that had anything to do with their current situation - but that was just one more reason not to get in one. The last thing she wanted was to be in an elevator that was possessed by a pokemon. Ugh. "Understood," she said into her dex, and while that lowered her other hand raised with a pokeball. The light from within the sphere morphed into the shape of a tall Typhlosion --
-- who immediately sat down on his behind and looked at Claire with large pink eyes and what could only be described as a pitiful, puppy dog look. "Typhrrooowwnnff?" His ears drooped and he didn't know any of these scary pokemon--
"Luc, defend and Flame Wheel," the agent ordered while pointing to the Rotom, and the affect of her words was immediate. The fire-type shot up, a low, guttural snarl escaping him as the pink flames erupted along the back of his neck, his pale fur bristling. He reared his head back briefly, pink flames flickering between his fangs before he shot a Flame Wheel at the Rotom.
The Rotom let out a chattering cry as it was struck by Skiron's follow-up Ice Beam. It dipped a short distance in the air before righting itself, just in time for-
-for Countess' Curse to make it droop in the air. "Roh..." The Rotom was starting to look tired.
A Flame Wheel from Luc woke it mostly back up.
Righting itself once more, the Rotom huffed and sent out a Confuse Ray.
((To attack this Rotom again, roll a 4-sided die.
1 = Your Pokemon is confused! It hurts itself in its confusion.
2 = Confused or not, your Pokemon's attack misses.
3 = Confused or not, your Pokemon's attack hits.
4 = If someone rolls this, cue the victory music. This Rotom has been defeated!
Defeated Rotoms will be awarded/distributed at the end of the RP.))
----------
[ Floor -4: Aulus + Rory ]
When both Aulus and Rory ran the opposite way from the mysteriously powered desk fan in front of them, the hum of the blades gradually lessened as the spinning slowed. Once the spinning had stopped completely, the fan began to glow and shift in form until-
A very rejected wild FAN ROTOM appeared!
Not that there was anyone present to see it...
The Rotom-fan frowned sadly. "Roh-toooom..." After sitting there in the empty hall for another moment, it huffed and took to floating after the humans. Well, obviously something had to be more interesting than a possessed desk fan, and by wires this Rotom was going to find out what!
----------
[ Floor -4: Group at the possessed elevator ]
At the rough attempts to forcefully open the elevator doors, the lights for the floor numbers and inside the elevator started flashing and flickering wildly. Then sparks began to pop from behind those lights. Among the madness, the floor buttons inside lit up to form an emote-- a DX rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise. Some seconds of this later, and the doors popped open with another ding and shrill cry as--
A wild ROTOM appeared!
The Pokemon was very displeased at having it's fun ruined, and floating near the hall ceiling, sent a Thundershock down upon Zoroark and Nachtara.
Just before the Mewtwo retaliated, Seth grunted as he started to come to, putting a hand to his head. His vision blurred slightly as he looked just in time to see the spears of metal flying towards him. Dazed and unable to react quickly enough, he made a pathetic attempt to duck. His eyes falling on an Umbreon before him. ... What? He didn't own an Umbreon.
It all happened in a split second. The shards that should have imbedded in his chest and killed him, instead struck the dark type. One of the shards that tore through the Pokemon did manage to slice his upper arm, leaving a deep cut, but for the most part didn't touch him. Hot pain brought Seth back to his senses and he instinctively reached to grasp his wounded arm, biting back a cry of pain.
Other than that, all he could do was stare for several moments at the Umbreon. One he recognized after a moment as Faleen's as it gasped and began regurgitating blood. That Pokemon had saved his life.
(Faleen/Izaya/Rory/Aulus/Possessed Elevator)
Oh! There was Aulus! And Rory! Her heart 'jumped' a little and she took a half step toward the pair... But suddenly, off they were running again, responding to the reports of the angry pokémon.
She had seen him and he was okay. That was a relief, but now; worry for what he and Aulus were running toward.
She was stepped away from the elevator doors, at least, as Faleen's dark type got to work, torn between running after Rory and Aulus and staying so she could witness that Izaya was retrieved from the elevator safely.
"Lasi." She addressed the bat, watching him watching the pair who had gone to deal with the rogue pokémon. "Go. I'll be right there too. Look after them."
He was good. He could help, she was sure. He'd beat her there flying and was disciplined enough, just about, to act sensibly when he needed to.
Lasi didn't really need a reassurance; he was ready to go as soon as he was permitted.
He /liked/ Rory; his trainer smiled good smiles a lot more often since he'd been around, and Aulus had been 'training' her kind of like she trained him and the rest of her team. The bat flew after the pair; he'd do his best.
(Faleen/Izaya/Rotom)
Tam' kept Neph on her belt and, instead, released Ella. If Faleen's Zoroark had any trouble, the red and black Aron was ready to start chewing at the door if she needed to.
The grunt was considering who else could possibly be useful from three of the four inactive pokémon left on her belt when, suddenly, there was a Rotom.
She almost fell back at the site of it.
Ghost... Electric... There the thing was. The thing that had controlled the elevator. It could /possess/ electrical objects. It could /use/ electricity. It was floating there and looking angry and... Oh frak! She felt an involuntary yelp leave her as the thing shot a Thundershock at the nearby pokémon.
Ella frowned. That wasn't a command. Her trainer was being weird, just staring at the electric thingy. It was not proper to attack without a command, but neither was it proper to allow one's trainer to come to harm through inaction. Was such a thing a risk? This was a dilemma. With a huff, the little steel type decided that, yes, the situation merited acting without instruction.
A moment later, she directed a Mud Slap at the offending ghost-thing.
(Rory/Aulus/Seth/Angry Mewtwo and Pokémon battling it)
Lasi arrived just in time to find himself wheeling and dodging his way through shards of metal, sensing and hearing it tearing through the air and, he thought, other pokémon as he climbed as fast as he could to get out of the way of the metal. He found himself flinching as he tucked his wings in, then up and down, feeling the projectiles pass all too close.
A Mewtwo-thing. Arceus; he had no idea how to fight that! A genetic, eerie, creation. Not even a clone in the sense that his new friend Octavia was... He didn't understand it, but Mewtwos... They never felt quite right to him.
The pink bat kept and ear and an eye out for Rory, Aulus and their pokémon as he steadied himself and tried his luck with a Wing Attack toward the rogue pokémon's position.
[Floor 1 - Frost, KO, Rotom (also Aulus)]
Luc had his orders now, and he was not going to stand down until that Rotom was defeated or until he was ordered to, and since Claire remained silent, he knew it was the former. With another snarl, he readied a second Flame Wheel, only to yelp in surprise at the Confuse Ray, causing his attack to misfire and speed off harmlessly to one side. Well, harmlessly to the Rotom, anyway.
While Luc was busy being confused, Claire raised her dex again, this time to type out a message to Aulus. 'Where are you?' She didn't bother to ask if he was alright, because chances were he was more than likely fine.
[Tech floor, Claire, Harvard, Mewtwo, Rejected Fan Rotom]
Aulus reacted to the flying shards by flinging himself flat before his brain had fully registered what was going on. A piece of shrapnel clipped his shoulder but with adrenaline racing through his body he barely noticed. Tortie managed to evade the attack so far as he could tell but a roar of pain announced the fact that Char had not been so lucky. Flicking himself back onto his feet he quickly assessed the damage; a chunk in the fire type's shoulder and two in his left leg....
s**t, and that was Faleen's Umbreon coughing blood and he didn't have any healing items on him. Leave them alone, it said, whilst trying to kill them?... Maybe it would be an idea to give it a chance, but he was damned if he was letting his guard down.
"Tortie, Char, keep back and help Umbreon guard the elite!" Wounded as Char was it would be better to keep him back a bit in any case, and even injured he was a lot tougher than the man on the floor, as was Tortie. He felt guilty for using his friends as a shield for a man he didn't actually like but he knew thepair could take it. It hoped they could take it. s**t when had this day started to go so badly-?
-And then his dex bleeped.
It was not a normal bleep, it was a 'message from Claire' bleep. Did that mean she was okay, or that she was in trouble? And now there was a Rotom on the scene as well. Oh great. Just great. Really sodding perfect. Swearing under his breath Aulus grabbed three more pokeballs from his belt, releasing a Pidgot, a Spinarak and a thoroughly weird Serperior. "Paul, Disable the Mewtwo, Red be ready to defend with Whirlwind if it's needed, and Discord... just go get that Rotom!" Getting even that much obedience out of the snake would be a miracle.
With this done he risked taking out his dex to read Claire's message. No indication she was hurt; good. His quick reply was; [Tec flor, Mewtwo!!] Having told Claire this his brain registered that he should tell somebody else. A couple of key presses pulled up Harvard, not a moment too soon probably. "Agent Aulus, tech floor near West elevators. Hostile pokemon located, it's a Mewtwo. Demands to be left alone, whilst flinging sodding shrapnel at us! Elite Seth is down, request backup!"
Tortie didn't like being told not to attack right away but she stepped in front of Seth anyway as her trainer contacted the other humans, her teeth bared and hackles raised. she snarled at the psychic type.
Char too stepped in front of the fallen human, though he moved more slowly than his companion. Dropping down onto all fours he spread out his wings, trying to give some cover to the stricken Umbreon as well. he rumbled to the vaguely familiar pokemon,
With contemptuous huff Red flared her wings, ready to try to drive back anything else the enemy threw at them. Hiding between her legs (because a bird on his side was less scary than that thing!) Paul tried to disable one of the Mewtwo's moves.
And Discord... Discord chuckled and coiled himself into a knot. glaring errors in your strategy!> He couldn't resist a good pun! Uncurling again and grinning broadly the strange Serperior launched a Glare attack on the Rotom.
------------
[Claire, KO, Shadow, Rotom]
Frost shielded his eyes from the blast of wyrd energy the ghost sent out. Blinking and shaking his head he made a quick gesture to Skiron, ordering a repeat of the previous attack.
Skiron blinked at his master, trying to focus on him but he seemed to swim in and out of focus. Confusion. He couldn't quite... what was he supposed to? Oh, Ice Beam. Turning rather woozily the ice type tried to blast the enemy pokemon out of the air but managed to miss entirely.
Frost's lips pursed into a thin line, and his fingers hovered over the next pokeball on his belt. Was it time to add somebody else to the fray?...
------------
[Claire, Frost, Shadow, Rotom]
"Ugh," KO shuddered, he hated attacks like that. "Countess! Will o Whisp!" Another reliable way to chip a foe's HP down.
It would have been effective if the fireball the ghost launched from her lantern manged to connect in any case. KO glanced between the pair of white-uniformed Agents; had all of them really just missed? That was pretty embarrassing.
Rory reacted to the shrapnel by ducking as the metal started flying but not quick enough. He felt the edge of one of the jagged pieces of metal graze his left cheek while another embedded itself in his right shoulder. Ignoring the pain for the moment, he looked to check on his pokemon as he caught a glimpse of a winged pink pokemon coming towards them. Jace had managed to escape with a cut on his left arm while Pinkie seemed to be struggling to stay upright due to multiple cuts on her front legs.
When he heard the mention from the agent about a Rotom, Rory called to Jace and Lasi. "Lasi, back up Pinkie! Jace, get after the Rotom!"
Pinkie tried to keep tears back as she stared at the Mewtwo. She caught sight of the bat pokemon near her and called to him,
Meanwhile Jace ran after the Serperior and sent an Ember attack towards the Rotom.
[Tech Floor/Floor 2]
With her shield now gone, the Mewtwo materialized a psychic barrier around herself. Feeling hostile intents from every direction, she was overwhelmed and scared. Wide eyes darting back and forth between humans and Pokemon alike.
So distracted was she that she didn't anticipate the Wing Attack, which struck the barrier and caused her to cringe, backing up several paces. The Disable also managing to weaken and then completely deteriorate her Barrier.
Eyes went wide again and she continued to back up.
"No! I don't want to die!" She could feel the murderous intent oozing from at least one person's mind on this floor. But that was also the reason she was trying to escape in the first place. These humans had used her and were now trying to kill her.
"I hate you! I hate you all!" Her voice sounding akin to a small child. The Mewtwo then turned around and darted back to the elevator shaft, its doors twisted and inoperable. Pausing to hover inside the shaft, she faced the Rockets again and reached above her head. They would then hear the groaning of metal again above them as the psychic type pulled apart pieces of the ceiling and allowed it to fall. Trying to buy herself some time to escape.
Seth looked up from the Umbreon to see several Pokemon now in front of him. This spurred him to reach again for his own Pokeballs and was about to release them until the ceiling started coming down. s**t. Clumsily pushing himself to his feet, the elite stumbled and made a leap out of the way of some falling debris.
With that done, the Mewtwo speedily flew up the shaft, coming in contact with an elevator that was going down. The car would then be forced upward at a much more rapid rate until she reached the second floor and burst through the doors there. Any Rockets in the area would see a grey and blue form speed past them as she frantically tried to find a way out.
[Floor -1]
After the base wide emergency went off Xander had made his way to the first below ground floor, coming from the floor above, to check if there were any intruders there. It would not be very good for Team Rocket if there were any trainers, Galactics or League members were where the equipment, pokemon and the prisoners were stored. It was also important to know if the emergency exit had been compromised.
At the moment he was opening up another storage room to check inside, Zack and Conrad behind him and ready to spread out in the room to help with their better sense of smell.
Asch hadn't been back 2 minutes before the alarm went off. Quickly securing the vehicle he had taken, the agent was soon running out of the garage. Tyke, who was perched on his shoulder, was now hanging on for dear life as his master ran through the halls. The red head keeping an ear turned to the intercom on his Rocket Dex.
While dashing through the halls, Asch noticed an open door to one of the storage rooms. With a frown, he came to a hault and carefully approached. Keeping his back up against the wall he carefully peered inside, catching sight of another agent and his Pokemon inside.
"Hey!" he called out in a hushed tone at Xander, just in case the other Rocket was pursuing an intruder.
Already Zack and Conrad had moved off to the left and right respectively and Xander had just started to check the middle when he heard Asch. He turned halfway to see the redhead and gave a nod in greeting. "See anyone before you came here?" He asked, keeping his voice low. "I haven't seen any intruders yet but then there are many places to hide if any are on this floor." Just after saying that he looked back around the storage room briefly.
Seeing as the coast seemed to be clear, Asch relaxed a little and walked into the room, taking a moment to look around.
"Nothing," he replied. The halls had been mostly empty on this floor. Everyone most have gone scurrying to their posts for the most part. He then nodded absently in agreement to the other agent's deduction. There was indeed a lot of places to hide here.
Tyke just blinked in confusion and hopped off of Asch's shoulder to start looking around himself.
[Tech floor/ Mewtwo]
For the next thirty seconds, Umbreon had to fight just to stay standing, Blood was finally starting to seep out of his wounds, dripping down his black fur and off of the long metal shards sticking out of him, while a steady stream of blood fell from his open, panting maw.
It was funny... the longer he stood there, the less pain he was feeling.. or really, the less he was feeling of much of anything.
The dark type's eyelids drooped slightly, and slowly be became less and less aware of what was going on around him.
colored shapes moved around him, by him and Seth... who was starting to move.
Umbreon chanced a glance over at the Elite, He was okay... good.
As if knowing his job of protecting the higher rank was done, Umbreon's front legs gave out, dropping his whole weight onto his chest, letting his back legs follow.
"Bre-"
Ah... well, there wasn't any use fighting it anymore he guessed, now that he was on the ground, he knew... he wasn't going to be getting up.
He watched the team, watched the pokemon, the other Rockets, the pool of blood growing,around him as he shivered.
What he wouldn't give to feel Faleen's hand on his ears right about now...
The Mewtwo was leaving, in an uproar, Everyone was scrambling for some reason, Seth had gotten up, and gotten out of the way.
Trying to pull his head up to look at the crumbling noise, Umbreon then fell still, eyes wide for a moment as he saw the damage get even worse, long pipes erupting from the breaking structure right over his head.
He could almost feel Faleen's hand on his head, feel her absently petting him. He laid beside her while she worked, or read, listening to her mutter or hum to herself for hours. The dark type knew that he could live like that forever, for her, for their job. He would always be there for her to rely on...
The pipe began to slide down, part of the base cracked, the metal screaming is it burst against other metal pipes and concrete on its way down from the ceiling.
His eyelids drooped again, his ears twitching up slightly, knowing he couldn't move to get out of the way.
The thick, heavy pipe collapsed with a clang, bringing chunks down around it.
His thoughts, never left his master.
~~~~~~~~

Absol barked, leaping back to avoid falling building, ignoring the Mewtwo who was now fleeing.
He had smelled blood in the air, a lot of it. What he had not noticed, was Umbreon was laying in it, a lot of it. At least he hadn't noticed until it was too late.

Absol leapt and dodged the falling rubble, keeping himself from getting hurt until finally things settled down, just enough for him to dash over and get to Umbreon.

The white maned pokemon clambered over the rock, but jerked to a stop at the scene before him.
A pipe, about four inches wide, reaching up to the ceiling where it had broken off from was laying onto of Umbreon... no... it was imbedded into him right between his shoulders and out his chest.
Blood from under the ringed pokemon was caking his once black fur. his body was twisted, his eyes were still open half way, but he wasn't looking at anything, the stern look he always held in his eyes was gone, they were dull now, cold.
Absol just stood there, his eyes wide as he stared down at his team mate. Knowing... as much as he didn't want to think it could happen, That Umbreon was dead.
