[RAID ORP] Prepare for the Worst

The Lampent managed to shake off the sleeping move. It started to gear up for a new attack when... Yeah, no, it was going down. A soft snore came from the Lampent now snoozing in the sand. "What?! No! Lampent, get up!" The yells of its trainer fell on sleeping ears.

The Samurott, meanwhile, was just not having a good day at all. It shook its head, but the attack from Jabari had done its work. It had also earned Jabari the water type's attention, and Jabari would soon find a Razor Shell attack coming its way.

Becca waved one hand dismissively at Harvard, the other moving to her hip as she looked as aloof and vaguely insulted as possible, despite still being upside-down. "Pffft. Of course it is. And you're right I didn't miss much, the party's just starting," the elite replied with a devious grin, moving her arms to cross loosely over her chest again, though still she didn't so much as lift a finger to help with anything.

The young grunt made a sound of dispair as Lindsay's attack was intercepted and returned with Pin Missile. He'd been pondering asking her to use that instead, but since he hadn't spent much time looking around and acted impulsively, he hadn't sen the other Jolteon.

Lindsay herself was furious as she was stabbed by the incoming needles, her own fur bristling. Still, she wasn't about to back down; not with her adrenaline pumping. "Jolt! Jolteon!" So rarely did she get a chance to loose her rage upon the world like this. Another of her own kind was NOT going to bring her down.

"Alright, Quick Attack, girl," her trainer instructed her. He then turned to the two ghosts he'd sent into battle. Jack was having a great time watching the poor human girl thrown into a second bout of confusion. Then he got a wicked gleam in his eye and readied a Hex attack. Shadow called out in panic.

"No, Jack, not on the trainer!" he cried. "Hex a pokemon!" He had no idea what it would do to a human being.

Jack sulked - he would have liked to see its affect on a human with a status alignment, but turned his attack reluctantly to the Poliwrath that was facing Tatl instead.

And angry, inexperienced little Tatl...she was floating about a bit, trying to look as scary as possible, but failing miserably as only a glowing yellow ball of light could. Water Gun hit her straight on and she sputtered at the attack, faltering. Shadow's shoulders drooped and he called her back. Maybe she hadn't been such a wise choice. He wasn't really sure of any other attacks she knew, either. Best to keep her safe for now.

Duke was sent flying by the Revenge and though he was the strongest of KO's pokemon he still wasn't all that tough, the attack had probably taken off half his health. Not to be deterred however he scrambled upright and shook himself. he commanded. The eevee obeyed without question, giving him another Helping Hand. he grinned to the Samurott, deliberately misnaming it as he powered up and then launched another Volt Tackle. Despite his bravado on top of the last attack he'd made and the Revenge from his opponent, the recoil from this one would probably just about do for Duke.

Viceroy yelped as his adversary slammed into him but did his best to shake off the pain and tried for another Fire Fang. He was feeling distinctly in trouble here, he had the type advantage - Duke had hammered all of those into his head - but that slam had hurt!

Countess tilted her head to the side thoughtfully, hovering where she was for a few moments before reaching a decision and drifting towards the Sceptile, launching a ball of blue flame from her lanterns at it in a Will o Whisp.

Kaiser crackled with static in annoyance at his failure and floated up into the air as far as his natural levitate allowed before trying for another Hydro Pump at the Rapidash.

"Keep up those Sand Attacks!" Tambrey called to Pygi.
It may not be a damaging move, but Tambrey really thought it was probably the bird's most useful move in something like this.
"Lasi! Try Leech Life on that Sceptile!"

"Jabari, look out!" Zacharie exclaimed, "Essex use Confuse Ray on the Polywrath!" The Shuppet spun to face the attacking water type and moved to dodge but still took some of damage. "Jabari, use Night Shade on the Polywrath." Both of the ghost pokemon moved to do as told though Jabari moved just a bit slower than the Gastly. "Oh God." Zacharie dug through his pouch with shaky hands in search of something that would help his Shuppet.

This was lovely. How the heck had these trainers managed to find them? Well, it didn't really matter anymore as now they found themselves in the middle of a battle.

Thus, Nikki wasted no time in joining in the fray. Calling forth her most powerful Pokemon, a large Pidgeot with black coloration.

Darkfeather shrieked his battle cry while his blonde companion pointed at a random enemy Pokemon.

"Take that thing out! Hyper Beam!"

A blazing burst of energy then shot forth from the Pidgeot's beak.

Jerome didn't seem to be in a hurry to anything in his life, or at least, very rarely did.
As the Agent piled out of their cars, Bro and Tremain having to unable themselves from the front of the vehicles after they were thrown forward from the sudden stop.

"Gar Gar!" Bro scoffed, patting his wide belly and floating up next to Jerome as he stepped out into the sad, looking out at the other pokemon battling the trainers.
"Hn, Man, go see F'the driver's alright, help em out." Jerome nudged the Gengar, They looked like they were trying to get all the bags up. He felt bad for them.

"YEA!" Tremain cheered, moving after Bro as they floated over to make sure that they would be okay so close to the battle.

The Jolteon yipped as it was hit by Lindsay's Quick Attack, and struck back with a Quick Attack of its own.

The Poliwrath was caught off-guard by Jack. Righting itself and setting its sights on the new opponent, it sent Bubblebeam back at Jack.

The second Volt Tackle from Duke did the trick, and the water Pokemon, though valiantly trying to hang in there to spite the insult, finally went down. "Samurott! No!" The trainer quickly called it back. "Go, Pelipper! Give that rat a Wing Attack!" The large bird was all to eager to comply.

The Sceptile yelled in pain when it failed to dodge Viceroy a second time. It's arm was caught, so it used the other arm to strike back, this time with X-Scissor. It cringed as Countess inflicted a burn status, but was too preoccupied with Viceroy to do much else about it.

The Rapidash this time dodged the attack from Kaiser and struck back with Fire Blast, but wait. What was this? The horse wobbled and toppled over, the effect of Countess' earlier Curse combined with the water attacks taking it out. The attack itself may have gone awry in direction because of this.

"Rapidash, return! Go, Shiftry. Go, Biscuit!" The Shiftry was immediately ordered to use Razor Wind, and it began whipping up a wind to aim at Countess. As for Biscuit, it was... another Rapidash! Huh. "Biscuit! Use Take Down on that stupid Rotom!"

It seemed the Sceptile had become the new pinata in Samurott's place, but it couldn't do anything about Lasi right then. But its trainer could! A new Grovyle joined the opposition in the fray, and sent a wave of Leaf Blade back at Lasi.

The Poliwrath was stubborn. It was a little woozy, but it quickly shook off the attempt at confusion from Essex. It turned and jumped to hit Essex with Doubleslap. Jabari, being further back, was spared being hit.

"Go! Eevee!" The Eevee had barely had time to make a sound before his trainer's poor placement decision landed it right in the way for Darkfeather's attack. Well... shoot. "Uh.. uh... Emboar! Go!" This one had better luck, and it attacked back with Flamethrower.

At the cargo vehicle, the drivers from both vehicles and two others were working get the cargo loaded back onto the truck.

The driver from the personnel truck smiled at the arrival of Tremain and Bro. "Perfect! Think you can help us get some of this back on top and strapped in?"

"Essex, use Hypnosis on the Poliwrath!" Zacharie called, wringing his hands together nervously. "...Come on, you guys can do this." He murmured, mostly to himself, as he looked out on the fighting anxiously. "Jabari, if you can use Will-o-Wisp on the Shiftry." Jabari gave a quick glance back at his trainer as if yo say, 'Duh, of COURSE I can do that.' before moving off to do as he was told. Essex seemed to be slowed down a bit, but he was still fighting pretty enthusiastically. "Please be careful out there." He chewed on his bottom lip, ignoring the copper tang that filled his mouth. It just seemed that they were getting nowhere and dammit why hadn't he trained harder before all of this?!

There was certainly a pleased smirk on Nikki's face as Darkfeather felled a pathetic little Eevee in one swoop.

"Well done, Darkfeather," she told her bird, who swelled with pride. Though this only lasted a moment, his eyes narrowing as an Emboar was released. Lifting a wing in an attempt to shield himself, he was hit with the full force of a Flamethrower. The Pidgeot clacking his beak angrily as he had to step back and recharged from his Hyper Beam.

Nikki though didn't waste any time in releasing a second Pokemon. This one being a Dark Charizard that she had worked hard to control during her time in Johto.

"Yuushi, Earthquake!" The fire lizard roared and slammed its foot on the ground in an earth shaking attack towards its fellow fire type.  

[Gwennythe]

The Grovyle's Leaf Blade wasn't too bad against Lasi, but it still stung a lot and made the bat distracted for a moment.
"Keep your attention on that Sceptile, Lasi! Hit it with a Wing Attack!" Tambrey called, then redirected Pygi's attention.
"Pygi! Fly, there!" Tambrey pointed at the Grovyle.

Growling deep in her chest Tortie shook ice off her fur and aimed another Night Slash at the Dusclops. As that attack hit home Red dived down at the Ghost type in a powerful Fly attack.

Phaethon bellowed in anger and pain as the serpent wrapped in up with Wring Out and retaliated with Flare Blitz. Char shot another Flamethrower into the mix, and wasn't especially particular about which one of the two he hit.

Looking for a new target Discord picked out the Poliwrath and blasted it with Mega Drain while Paul repeated the tactic of hiding behind his ally and using Disable on the same target.

Aulus meanwhile flexed his shoulders and started to circled around towards the trainers themselves, spinning his staff over his hand with practiced ease. "Haven't you lot had enough yet?" he snapped in whiplash tones. "If I were you I'd put my tail between my legs and run, while everything's still attached,"

Duke kept upright after his Volt Tackle but the Pelipper's wing attack finished him, and KO recalled him to his pokeball with a little snarl of anger and frustration. "Regent! Help Viceroy now!"

The eevee bobbed a quick nod to this and powered his large friend with Helping Hand. Emboldened by the support of two friends the golden Arcanine roared and bit into the Sceptile with another Fire Fang.

Sensing a pokemon winding up to attack her Countess turned to face the Shiftry and launched another Will o Whisp.

Kaiser had just been feeling pleased with himself about helping to take out the Rapidash when another of them appeared and promptly slammed into him. Rumbling and making whirring mechanical noises of pain he tried to paralyse the new enemy with Thunderwave.  

[Blood_Goddess]

Absol jolted back with the take down, his two front feet being knocked out from under him as he tumbled into the sand.
peeling his lips back the horn on the Absol head was enveloped in darkness, and the dark type lashed out at the Growlith in his Night Slash as he tried to stand back up.

Pins sunk into Charizard's scaly flesh, sending a jolting pain jolting through his body, Roaring in pain, and losing much of his altitude, the Charizard slammed himself onto the sand, on all fours, panting and growling, saliva spraying from his mouth as he roar out in rage, and all at once threw all of his weight at the Jolteon, teeth and claws out.

This time, the Hypnosis from Essex worked, and the Poliwrath flopped down on its back with a thud. The Shiftry shrugged off all attempts at a status change from Jabari.

The Emboar rattled and flailed, but he stayed on his feet. He turned in kind on Yuushi with a sickening Smog.

The Sceptile could do nothing about the impending Wing Attack, caught as it was by Viceroy.

The Grovyle eyed the Pygi in the sky, then disappeared into the ground using Dig

The Dusclops was definitely on his last leg as the attacks connected, but it still had energy for Confuse Ray at Tortie and Red

The Poliwrath, being asleep, could do nothing to combat Discord.

"As if, you dirty Rockets!" One of the kids, a boy with a backwards baseball cap, countered at Aulus. A Haunter and Golduck were released to stand in defense of the humans. "Just you wait! The League will have you all behind bars!"

The Sceptile didn't stand a chance. A Wing Attack from Lasi and another Fire Fang from Viceroy did it in, and the Pokemon was quickly down and recalled.

This time, the Shiftry was affected by the burning move, but that didn't stop the Razor Wind that was now released at Countess. Meanwhile, the Rapidash was paralyzed by Kaiser, and unable to move.

The Growlithe yelped, but this was no Spring Puppy! It ran right back at Absol with a Fire Fang.

The Jolteon heard the roar, and turned to see with extreme surprise the rampaging Charizard. The Jolteon promptly abandoned it's current fight with Lindsay and went running for cover under the van the Rockets had arrived in.
