It had been announced that they were now in what Petra made mention of passing into a security premiere. Rosie felt her heart leap, and she leaned back into her seat, hands on either side of her legs. They were getting closer, this was Rocket territory then? She barely had time to wrap that around her head though when the can started to shake, and practically lurch up from below them.
Startled, and having no idea what just caused that, her firs thought was that the Rockets had some kind of safety in place to keep out intruders, that was until she saw the spray of sand, and the massive ground times within it.
Reaching out to either side of her, gripping what she could of her friends as the Hippowdon made it very clear they did not like this vehicle. "And, that is certainly a challenge" She gasped as the van finally stopped moving and they were leaping out to attack.
Goggled pressed to her face, securing her eyes a hand moved to her hip, snatching up her Luxery ball and tossing it out as she stepped into a flury of sand. "Alright Vahy'n-"
The water type flattened her fins against the blasting sand, but lifted her tail high in defiance. "Hydropump[/b,] what Petra says, try and drive them back!" It didn't help the shaking ground, as violent geysers of water erupted from the sand aimed for the foremost Hippowdon.

The black Hippowdon bellowed at both Gloria and the Bouffalant, stumbling backwards at the combined efforts of the two pokemon, but mostly by the Victreebel's Vine Whip attack.
Meanwhile, the tan Hippowdon was rushed at by a large, shiny Arcanine, and roared at it before being struck almost immediately after by a Leaf Tornado. Growling in anger, the ground-type ignored the tiny Jeeves and instead locked his focus on Aurora as he leaned forward, sand erupting from his back in an attempt to trap the Arcanine in place with Sand Tomb. No sooner had he shot his attack when a Hydro Pump erupted nearby and shot at him. Two super effective attacks, coupled with a normal attack sent him stumbling backwards with an irritated grunt, though for now, he was still standing.
Two Hippopotas cried out as a chilling wind whipped across them and stumbled back, and one rushed forward towards the Sneasel - the other attempted to do so, but its progress was impeded by a sudden number of seeds latching onto its face. "Potaaah!" It shook its head as it stumbled back, then turned to rush towards Moriko in a Tackle.
The four remaining Hippopotas, finding themselves unoccupied, immediately surveyed the area and focused on a single target - the one with the type weakness. All four of them disappeared under the sand and headed straight towards Aurora.
Alder pulled another pokeball out now that the black Hippowdon was away from the van, and sent out his Vanilluxe who used Blizzard. The former champ took a moment to glance around, and couldn't help but notice the four burrowing pokemon all headed for the same opponent. "These.. seem rather focused and coordinated," he noted aloud through his sleeve, his brow furrowing. "A little too much for wild pokemon."

The goggles kept the sand out of her eyes, something she was immensely grateful for, able to keep them wide open as she watched her pokemon, scanning the battle field. holding an arm up over the lower half of her mouth she picked the next target. "There next," Rosie called to her Vaporeon.
The water type looked to the only ground type left on the surface, though golden eyes peeled to the ground were the four had vanished under. "Vapor! Por!" "They're using dig." Rosie looked over to the trapped fire type. That... was not going to end well, and Vahy'n didn't know any attacks that could attack the underground pokemon. until they surfaced there was nothing she could do to help Closing her hand, she kept an eye on the fire type, "Vahy'n, Aurora Beam on the tan one"
Opening her mouth, a breath of fog escaped the pokemon's mouth, and a colorful beam shot shot forward in an elegant display, the chilling beam crackling and ice extending from its beam.
Team Rocket pokemon, The League officials came to that conclusion, so this was for safety... The thought was a little scary, but it just meant they were better trained then wild pokemon.
An Espeson that sh recognized from before moved to join Vahy'n as she started her attack. helping to increase the beam's power. Rosie looked over to Andre, giving him a thanking smile.

The Hippopotas let out a sharp cry as it was kicked away, but it quickly righted itself - except the previous Leech Seed sapped some of its energy away. Shaking its head once more, the small ground-type charged towards Moriko and this time, aimed to land a sharp Bite on the Sawsbuck.
The tan Hippowdon, seeing his Sand Tomb successfully trap his target, loosed something akin to an amused chuckle. Abandoning the fire-type, it instead focused on Jeeves instead, rushing towards it, but found his progress halted when he was struck by an Aurora Beam, and he stumbled to the side with a grunt. He shook his head again and lurched forward uneasily, but resumed his unsteady progress towards the Snivy, intent on attacking it despite his dangerously low health. A sudden, unexpected Aerial Ace from above struck him and literally knocked him off his feet, and with a fading groan the large pokemon passed out.
Petra's sudden announcement pulled Alder's attention, and he frowned at the situation. "Everyone, be careful! These are most likely Team Rocket pokemon!" He didn't need to repeat what she just said about hurrying to wrap this up. That said, Vanilluxe shot another Blizzard at the black Hippowdon, and with a groan, the large pokemon stumbled backwards before collapsing on top of the sand.
The four Hippopotas erupted out of the sand all around Aurora in a tag-team Dig attack, their anger rising as they noticed the larger pokemon had fallen already.

With the Arcanine taken care of, the four Hippopotas turned and looked for their next target --
But three of them found themselves hit by various attacks first; two nearly fainted, but remained upright, one stumbled and the last remained unharmed thus far. The four of them split into two pairs and rushed towards two new targets - one pair headed straight for Viktor and the second pair headed for Luna, with both pairs readying the same attack for each target: Bite.
The Double Kick sent the Hippopotas tumbling backwards again, but it managed to stand very unsteadily before stumbling clumsily towards Moriko, readying one final attack -- but forgot about the Leech Seed again, which suddenly sapped what little strength it had left, and the small Pokemon dropped to the sand mid-step.
The sixth Hippopotas similarly dropped, after yet another Icy Wind from Agatha. That done, the Sneasel charged the downed pokemon, only to find herself suddenly recalled back to her ball before she could make a meal of it.
