[RAID] Final Frontier

Faleen

The control panel had just a few buttons on it that were conveniently and clearly labeled, and appeared to control the bay door, some hooks along the ceiling that had since fallen off and now lay discarded on the floor, and one for the lights. A small rectangular panel on its side was fitted with a space to insert a key to open it.

[Room A, Inside the Wingull]

It looked and sounded dead. Lex carefully stood and started to explore. The first box was carefully examined for goods and the next gently shook. He tipped a few, and explored farther in. Empty packs. Some sort of exposed wires… something had been here and it looked like they had left in a hurry. “Looks like they left in a hurry! All the emergency gear is gone and all the boxes are empty.” He approached the controls, shining the light over them, trying to figure out if one was labeled lights.

Flatline huffed, settling low and eyed the console. "Porygon?"

Tama

The left wing of the jet he studied had been bent, obviously rendering it unusable, while the majority of the craft had numerous dings and dents in it, either from falling debris that now lay scattered on the floor, or from its fellow aircrafts on either side of it.

(Hayes, Console)

Without moving her flashlight she glanced in the direction of Hayes, recognizing his voice enough not to have to shine the light on him,
"Yeah- uncertain for how long too."
she lifted a corner of her mouth though "It doesn't look like it will be too much help, though I am more interested in seeing if there is any power running through this place." she added, then pointed to the box "If I can get to the wires."

Zoroark let out a soft huff, and stepped forward to claw and pry at the locked panel. trying to bust it open.

Room B

"Waah!" Tambrey found herself momentarily alarmed as she was suddenly in the air... Well, that would teach her to wander ahead and not check the floor... but still...
A net trap. She had to get out of it, sure, but this.... meant something.
She reached to speak into her 'dex.
"Um. Agent Tambrey here... I found a net."

Gauntlet rose up to peer in at his trainer, stuck in a net, and eyed her with concern. This was no time for laying around in a hammock.

Unfortunately, there was no button that was labeled 'lights'.

Tambrey

"Are you all right?" Claire asked immediately, making a move to go further inside the hangar but hesitating, then remaining where she stood. "Are you hurt?"

Unfortunately for Zoroark, the panel door was flush against the surface, and the gaps were too thin to allow claws between them to pry it open.

Kailee having found nothing of interest on her first look glanced around the hanger. So they had the jets covered. But hadnt Tambrey gone into the other room? Werent they supposed to not wander around alone? She glanced toward the stairs "Um...." However her voice was a whisper and so she went toward them to see where the other scientist had gone. She glanced to her dex as she heard Tambrey's voice. Was a net really worthy of being notified about? She started through the door "Agent Tambrey?"

Well, that was all gibberish. Lex frowned and reached up, scratching his curls through his hat. Wait. Lets check and see if their was an ignition of some sort. And if there was, if it had a key in it or not. Otherwise he probably should start looking elsewhere. If there was, he would try to start it.

[Room A to just outside B]

In the quiet of the mothership Tam's cry reached his ears easily, jerked his muscles into motion without much input from his brain. Tortie joined him in an initial brief sprint across the hanger, which came to a brief halt when Tam's voice came in across the dexes. Slowing to a jog Aulus gave a little laugh of relief as he came up to the door and peered through with the help of his flashlight. "Need a hand down there partner?" he asked with a forced tight smile, looking around for wherever she had ended up without by leaning around the doorway; he was still cautious, too cautious to just charge in if she wasn't actively being injured.

Char nearly made to go along with his master when he took off like that but he had orders and so far as he could tell nobody was dying so he stuck to them and thus stuck with the unfamiliar grunt.

Room B - Elite Claire via Dex, Kailee

"Uh. A little bruised? Mostly embarrassed. Nothing broken, I think. This is not a comfortable trap but it's certainly not lethally designed either..." Tambrey noted into the 'dex and then gave an experimental kick and push to test how easily she could just... un-net herself...
Then she heard Kailee and Aulus.
"Uh! Hi! Be careful, there /might/ be traps in here... A hand down would be welcome, thanks..." She warned, and said, sheepishly.

(Hayes, Console)

Zoroark let out a growl when her attacks didn't have an affect on the door. though she didn't have much time to get too annoyed with it, as a sudden cry echoes in the hanger.

Faleen jerked around quickly, using her flashlight to search the aria "What was that?" her dex was in her hand, and Agent Tambrey's voice spoke through it... talking about finding a net.

Faleen furrowed her brow and glanced over to Hayes "A net?" "Did you scream? who needs assistance?" back into the Rocket Dex

[Room B; Going to save Tambrey/explore it if someone gets to her first]

It seemed Jezzabelle heard something in the next room before he got the word on his dex that another Rocket was caught in a net. So, there are traps. Interesting. Calling Tiamat, he headed to the next room. Aulus seemed to have sprung to the rescue of Tambrey, so he let him handle it, but will lend Quidal for her Cut ability if needed as he cautiously stepped more into the room.

[Room A, unlocking console?]"Not too much," Hayes agreed, "but we could get the lights on. Make it harder for anyone to double back around and ambush us on the way out." And since Tambrey's call came over his 'dex just then, his suggestion was only further cemented in his mind as a Good Idea.

Chill. Your not-girlfriend has a giant man-eating shark, you're fine.

"Hnh," he grunted when Zoroark's attempt bore no fruit. "Let me try." He clicked another Pokeball open, this time releasing a star-shaped creature that hung in the air. 'Cold!' Alphard exclaimed.

"We're in Sinnoh, buddy," Hayes smiled faintly, then crouched down by the panel. "Here, look at this - simple lock. Want to give it a shot?"

The Jirachi's mouth formed a little 'o' at the puzzle presented. It nodded, psychic voice floating into Faleen and Hayes' minds. 'I'll try.' Descending nearer to the panel, it closed its eyes and glowed softly, reaching out with psychic energy to find the movable parts of the lock - and then, maybe push them into place.

[Room B]

Aulus swept his flashlight around once more before stepping into the room, watching where he put his feet with every step. Once he spotted Tam dangling inelegantly in the net he picked his way over to her. "Hi there," he said with another rictus smile, "no time to be hanging around you know." Taking a firm hold of some loops of the net down around Tam he nodded to Tortie. "Okay, cut her down carefully, I've got her."

Tortie nodded a reply, using a highly restrained Night Slash to try to cut through the trap.
