Dear boss
Word has spread that traveling merchant came from an area where people co-exist. It is best someone gathers information on this village. I will report directly to you with my findings.

✝ " I search for salvation

Kya understood the situation as quickly as always and was already on the move. Orias stood up, his face losing the playful smile that always lingered there. ”Yes Armand I understand and will follow your rules. I just hope for the sake of your people everything works out. The barbarians can be much more brutal than you can imagine so please, make the right decisions when it counts.” With that said Orias turned on his heel and walked to the Window where Kya was waiting on her Dragon and the Law abiding policeman had already begun to fly away from. Tenderly, Orias placed a foot on the dragons back before stepping on behind where Kya was placed. Beneath him, he could feel the radiating body warmth as the large creature would follow Kya’s command to take off. Buildings and people all shrank as they escalated quickly into the atmosphere and Orias became a bit queasy. Up in the air, his control was so much more limited in what he could do. There were plenty of techniques that could save or protect him but not on the level that others had, not at the godly level that was expected. Here in the sky was Kya’s terrain and she along with her dragons ruled it all. Sitting down and folding his hands together, Orias began to focus on the area surrounding him, the birds flying, the faint chakra signatures that they passed over every now and then signaling another ninja or strong human being was close under them. From far away, it would look like he was deep in concentration then it would all fade away. Stretching his mouth, a yawn revealed his perfect white teeth as he leaned back on the dragon. His blond locks whipped along the sounds of his face along with the occasional strand of black from his sister. Besides him, the periodic thump of dragon wings beating the air took a steady rhythm like a metronome.

There was no question as to why he was with Kya right now, it was natural as it should be. The bigger question came in the fact of what they would do with handling the barbarians. ”So Kya, we have our orders. We must explore while locating and keeping track of all Barbarian camps. If attacked we are able to fight back to ensure our safety. Very loose lines of work but all the more to move around in. How will we begin?” This was one of the things Orias truly enjoyed: acting within the law but not for everyone else’s purposes. Following rules and guidelines laid down for a person guarantees their safety and protection as long as their actions were within their own interpretation of the rules. Justice and the law itself, they were very strong and irrefutable tools to get what you wanted much cleaner than other methods. Currently the only question before them was how far would they act within the layout of the plans?

Hana walked into the office. She had dropped the basket of picked herbs at the hospital on the way to the office, of course. Approaching the receptionist, Hana requested if a message could be delivered to the Amekage, "I would like the Amekage to know that a little over half an hour ago a kunoichi of another village, one known as the village hidden in the whirlpools, was spotted at the gates. She meant no harm, but she expressed worries that her presence near our village, accidental as it may have been, might alert the leader of her village of our existence. She believes that if her village's leader knew, then he would launch an invasion on our territories."

As the receptionist jotted everything down, Hana waited hesitantly. The skeptical face of the worker worried Hana, and her face had no problems showing that worry with a creased brow and pursed lips. She blinked but decided that there wasn't any more she could do. She'd heard through the grape vine that earlier today the Amekage had called a select group of shinobi to his office and assigned them duties personally. She, obviously, hadn't been one of them, which meant that she was considered too weak to be of personal use to the weak. Hana was actually okay with that. She understood why and would have done the same.

No, instead of trying to fruitlessly pursue an audience with a busy village leader, the best course of action will be to do everything she could to personally prepare for surviving whatever storm may arise from this first interaction between two villages. Hana left the office after a few polite pleasantries.

He made a note about the existence of another village, potentially friendly, potentially either. Either way, the guard would be put on alert and ready. He had been at it for a week or so, and Armand already wanted to retire. The courier could use some duty, since she took the initiative to actually deliver mail. After a tip from an intern, he headed off to find her.

                                                                    (Chakra): 350/350

The bells had rang, echoing through the drainage systems of Amegakure. The city would gather in the pouring rain as they had always did when the bells sounded. They'd gather under the Amekage's tower, waiting for his words. For a leader, Armand was young...but ambitious. This is what some of the Borderlanders feared. When the Shogun came to rescue Amegakure, three years ago, Armand was pressured to agree to reside inside the newly establishing Shogunate of the country. His credibility was wounded in his peoples' time of need. Had the battle persisted, he would've scorched the very earth they lived on to survive, no matter the cost. Armand wasn't sure which outcome was better for his leadership.

As he looked out across the crowd, he would see handfuls of shogunate guards posted here and there. The shogunate liked to keep tabs, it seemed. Armand wasn't sure whether to be grateful for the extra watch in his home, or to be angry at the potential distrust. Though, Armand wouldn't see the distrust as unreasonable. Armand had done his best to show peace to the Borderlanders. And while it had worked, it had backfired greatly when Amegakure had grown from it. There was a year of complete isolation of the village until a certain voice of reason managed to talk him into trying a peaceful expansion once again....even if the Shogunate was against Amegakure climbing in power.

As per usual, beside him, probably holding an umbrella and being helpful, was Hana Im. Despite her lower ranking in the village, she was widely respected by the civilian population. Her medical skills were invaluable during the recovery, and her name was almost interchangeable with Armand's in terms of any good done on a village-wide scale. He couldn't have asked for a better and more trusted assistant.

Now was the time to address the people. Armand would wave his hand over the crowd as he approached the balcony, sharingan as clear as day. He utilized a genjutsu to amplify his voice.

"People of Amegakure. Thank you for joining me today. I will be brief, as I know that many of you have your duties to carry out for the day. It has been three years, three long years, since the Village Massacres. The reconstruction has been difficult. And though new amount of effort can replace those lost, we honor their memories by remaining standing and fighting while others may wish to see us fall."

Armand took a breath and turned to look at Hana, giving a smiling nod and urging her to step a bit forward. The village seemed to like her presence.

"Three years ago, many of you stood and fought for your home, despite not being a part of our village's military. Once again, I am unable to express my deepest gratitude to your loyalty and sense of duty. It is because of you, that Amegakure is able to begin again, in an attempt to spread our peace and advancement with the world beyond the borders. It is because of you, that this village is a shining beacon of humanity to the rest of the world." As Armand spoke, he turned his gaze across a few of the Shogunate watchers. They didn't cheer, they didn't smile...they only watched and reported. Armand turned and looked to the horizon past the rain clouds. East. "As soon as we are ready, we shall rebuild, bigger than ever, and establish order through the borderlands." The Amekage looked back to his people and raised a fist. He wasn't sure what other gesture of solidarity he could do. "For glory!"

The crowd chanted back, showing great enthusiasm and new life. Their new life echoed the rebirth of their home. There was no mention towards the Shogunate, as Armand wanted to keep his people trusting in himself. His sharingan glanced at the shogunate's police. They were loyal to their leader, so he didn't judge their visible unease at Armand's verbal goals.

The Amekage turned to his assistant and tried to smile, while cutting off his vocal genjutsu. "Let's get out of the rain." He state quietly and usher her inside. "Well...I'm not much for inspiration or speeches...but it seems they liked it. What do you think?"

                                                                    (Chakra): 350/350

The Village Massacres, as they had come to be known, were the bloodiest, most brutal raid Hana had been witness to. It had left her scarred, and a part of her still hadn't recovered. She had lost her mother, her step-father, and her little half-brother. She would never work with most of the hospital staff that had welcomed her so warmly to Amegakure. That old lady that would give her an extra rice cracker whenever Hana bought some sweets for her shop? She was one of many who didn't even have a body to bury. Masako Chiru's body also could not be discovered, and for a little while, Hana had held hope that maybe her cousin at least was still alive. However, she could not rationally continue to believe in such an unlikely thing, and by three years, she had come to accept that the cousin who had led her to the Rain was no longer of this world. So many that Hana cherished were lost. However, she was just one of many like that. For the sake of the many who needed help after the blood bath and for the sake of the arduous recovery and assimilation that followed the destruction, she had endured, some may even say ignored, her own weaknesses. After a short period of mourning for everything she had lost, Hana had went straight to work.

Amegakure had lost many of its experts in every field and not even absorbing Uzushiogakure had alleviated the problem that all occupations were lacking hands. The medical field was no different. There was no rest for a doctor. After treating the injuries of those that survived, she would need to assist those who struggled to live without shelter or reliable food. Then as rebuilding started, it was a medic's responsibility to ensure the safety of those working and the health of those who had injured themselves with any assortment of construction-related injuries. What time she didn't spend accompanying the Amekage as he went about his duties, Hana spent either working at the hospital or assisting in some village recovery project or another.

What time she had to spare after fulfilling the responsibilities she owed to the village, the people, and the Amekage, was often used to just wind down, mentally and physically rest herself so that she was always ready to not just finish what she had planned but also any emergencies that may arise. Sometimes, it was just solitary rest. Most times, though, these were the precious moments Hana had to interact with those she considered friends. It was the precious time she spent with those few she cherished that were still alive that grounded her and reminded her why she continued to do everything she could for others.

As for ninja training, Hana had largely neglected it. She did not doubt it was necessary to build strength, but she had always been a doctor before a ninja. Healing jutsus were handy, yes, but inefficient in the larger scheme of things. She could either immediately heal a handful of patients then collapse from chakra shortage or tend to the slower but natural recovery of several times that number and still have energy to do whatever else she had time for. As a doctor, Hana had grown in leaps and bounds, but she was still registered as only a lowly genin in the ninja ranks.

However, to the crowd present for the Amekage's speech Hana's rank meant nothing. When she straightened her posture and gracefully stepped up from behind Armand to beside him, rotating the umbrella she held so that it continued to shield her and the kage from the rain, a silent but visible change swept through the crowd. The faces of many present lit up in recognition, and Hana, as bad at hiding her thoughts as always, smiled gratefully in return. Hana had adapted beautifully to her work load. She was still as busy as over, but none of the stress of overwork was apparent in her appearance. She was one of those rare breed of people who could actually learn to find enjoyment in work.

When her eyes drifted up from the crowd to the shogun guards that watched the proceedings, Hana offered a welcoming smile. No response, and her smile quickly turned into a pout. It was always so difficult to get friendly with the guards, and she genuinely wanted to since they spent so much time in the village. Optimistic as ever, Hana didn't think the shogun would ever negatively interfere. She had witnessed no evidence hinting at such foul play, and without evidence, such negative conspiracy theories would remain just that, theories.

Hana's eyes were drawn back towards the crowd, which was now chanting in response to the speech Armand had just finished. She did not echo Armand's cry for glory, nor did she add anything of her own. All she did was smile widely at the encouraging chant, happy to see the village unify in the face of prolonged difficulty. Through the excitement Hana felt, she recognized what this moment meant. This moment was Armand's. It was his chance to raise faith in the Amekage. It was not her place to step forward and add anything.

When the kage ushered her back enough, Hana made no move to resist. Instead she was… laughing? Something about Armand's attempted smile and the way he was so quick to leave the spotlight had just seemed funny to the assistant and, as always, she couldn't resist. Very carefully, even while laughing, Hana lowered the umbrella and shook the rain off of it before popping it into whatever holder was available. "I think the crowd seemed to be motivated by your words for the most part, Armand-sama," was Hana's honest response as her laughter gave way to a thoughtful expression, "Of course, there were always the special cases mixed in with everyone else. No doubt you know who I'm talking about. They're the people that we always seem to manage to mix ourselves up with. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if a few of them will appear before us in a little bit."

Of course it made people feel good and have hope so that was enough. It had been three years since the village had been attacked, he had made good on his promise back then. He had killed as many barbarians as he could, he believed the number was about even. The village certainly lost a lot of people back then but nothing to do. He entered the kages office at the right time."Why what ever do you mean special cases, im perfectly normal, well as normal as a guy who can have wings and bones sprout out of his body. What up Armand, been a little bit. I took it upon myself to bring you a special guest, one of the other ninjas who came from the other village. Of course what makes her so special is her eyes, that and shes way too nice for her own good." And just like that Rosaline would walk in behind Cecil, her face neutral.

                                                                                      • Senpou Kaguya Dormat
As a master of the bloodline, the Kaguya Sages are capable of manipulating their bones with their mind. It is very similar to angel/demon manipulation, though in less quantity and range (100 feet within their body). Usually it will be something like pulling spikes out of the ground, rather than manipulating a tide of bones. Their bones regenerate faster, grow impossibly proportionately large, and can be used very strategically. The bones can be changed in shape and molded together even when already released. Fighting a Senpou Kaguya user is often very overwhelming, as they can repel many attacks with little chakra involved. They force their opponent to use jutsu that are actually strong enough to destroy the bones, which already gives the opponent a disadvantage. When using the Senpou Kaguya, your eyelids will turn a dark red, and you will often appear to shudder and pulse uncontrollably in the minds of others.

                                                                                      • The Bone Apostle Dormat
This is an advanced version of the True Blood Unleashed. The bone apostle is a very powerful form of the Kaguya that can be activated at any time. Some would consider it their true selves, as it seems extremely natural to them. This state seems to constantly shift. Whenever they use one of their 'aspects' as an apostle, it will usually disappear as quickly as it emerged, remaining a mystery. The difference between a Senpou Kaguya and regular Kaguya's chakra is almost impossible for anyone to notice until this is being used, which can be a very quick thing. Their chakra will change slightly, enough for most dojutsu users to see that [something] has happened, but without clarity on what. It is not exactly defined what this form is. The form has a total of [5] aspects, and they are all very much meant for assassination and domination in physical combat.

                                                                                      • Dance of the Willows Passive
It is the first of five dance forms. Using the ability to manipulate their bone structure, the clan member will grow and extend a forearm bone through the palm of their hand to form a stabbing instrument. Using fluid and precise movements, they will then impale opponents.

                                                                                      • Dance of the Larch Passive
Karamatsu no Mai is a form of Taijutsu developed by Kimimaro to take advantage of his cursed seal and bloodline ability. It is the third of five dance forms. After activating the level one cursed seal form, Kimimaro will begin to extend multiple bones from his body. Both from his rib cage and his radius and ulna. Because they are hard as steel (and can be as hard as hyper diamond at Kage), these bones can act as a strong defensive mechanism against incoming strikes. Due to this they will also serve as an offensive attack to allow Kimimaro to move with little effort to impale his opponent.

                                                                                      •Bone Strength

                                                                                      Genin: Steel
                                                                                      Chuunin: Titanium
                                                                                      Special Jounin: Emerald
                                                                                      Jounin: Corundum
                                                                                      Sannin: Diamond
                                                                                      Kage: Hyper Diamond
Senpou Kaguya: Unbreakable by physical objects. Only ninjutsu can destroy a Senpou Kaguya's bones. They are even harder than hyper diamond, a level of resistance impossible to categorize.

                                                                                      • Your bones aren't the only part of your body that are resistant. Your skin and flesh are both highly invulnerable to a certain level of physical and elemental damage. Your skin feels and acts like stone; it's like a hard outer shell that defends you. You can have a sword lodged into your throat but from the average ninja, it'd take many seconds to pierce all the way through. You're a moving tank. When you've mastered Senpou Kaguya, your skin becomes as tough as corundum.

                                                                                      • You have enhanced perception, and for good reason. Kaguya train their whole lives to dominate melee, so they are better than most others at predicting attacks and perceiving the enemy's movements.

                                                                                      • Wind: This element gives the clan the ability to use the Flight Transformation as well as makes them lighter by fusing into their whole body. The Flight Transformation gives the User large reptilian wings(pterodactyl-like). The lighter body gives the use +1 speed . Due to the wings, the User is capable of mid-air combat.

                                                                                      • Water: This element is adapted into the blood and cells of the clan, giving them enhanced healing and regeneration ability. Small injuries are instantly healed. Large cuts or external damage in two. Broken bones will set and heal in three posts. A lost limb in five. Capable of healing others completely, but after healing someone else they turn to a weakened and smaller state (-2/-2, Transformation techniques strength reduced by 1 rank). Immune to poisons. Healing will passively activate when needed.

                                                                                      • Lightning: This element excites both the muscles and the senses. With acute smell, taste/smell, and sight, along with greater balance, this makes for an excellent tracker. +1 speed

                                                                                      • Ally of Nature
Can speak and use wild animals for various tasks. Understands the speech of any non-human species.

                                                                                      • Natures Vanguard
Due to the inherent ability to passively absorb natural chakra, Jyuugo members find themselves able to passively regenerate 10 chakra per post.

                                                                                      • Enhanced Survivalist Body
After hundreds of years spent in the wilds and also being changed subtly by Nature Energy, the Jyuugo Clan has gained a greater physical prowess than the rest of the world. All jutsu attacks are 1 rank less effective against people with this bloodline, and jutsu 3 ranks lower than them are negated entirely. -

PHYSICAL TOUGHNESS -- The Taijutsu class not only teaches you to ignore pain, but can also make you immune to damage from weak attacks, based on your rank, making you almost immune to damage 2 ranks below you:

Rosaline walked up slowly to Cecil's side sighing before she spoke. Her eyes made it quite clear what bloodline she had."I think its better I introduce myself and get everything out of the way, that way you can decide if you want me here or not. My name is Rosaline Von Xylander. That last name is of course a barbarian one, as I used to lead a Tribe myself. That was a while ago and I had been residing in the Whirlpool village but the bigger tribes attacked it and destroyed it. I was certainly sad to lose my home but I'll make something clear. I don't hate the barbarians and I understand why they did what they did. In the clan wars they might have fought only with soldiers but when it came to tribes attacking tribes, there were times it was necessary to wipe the entire tribe out. I ordered some myself in fact, it's not like I hate the villages either. It simply how I lived and now I live like everyone else in this village. In truth I have been hear since the Whirlpool village was destroyed but did not report to you, despite being a ninja. I wanted to avoid the issue, but when Cecil found me a while ago it felt like I should clear it up. If you do not want me in your village then I shall go but I would certainly hate to leave something I've come to love. "

She then stopped talking and waited for a reply, in truth she had come off sounding quite mean. But there was no better way to say it, those were her feelings. Perhaps the Kage would understand and she could stay, if not she would have no choice to but to find a barbarian clan to join up with or live on her own. She would probably end up how she used to be. Of course her words visibly angered Cecil who as pretty much everyone knew hated barbarians even before the attacks on the village.

                                                                                Stats:

                                                                                Chakra: 280

                                                                                • A God's Example
Any wielder of the Rinnegan may freely summon and manipulate two items. The Guoudama (Truth-seeking Balls), and Nunoboko, a multi-ringed staff, much like that of a buudhist monk. The Rinnegan wielder can manipulate up to six guoudama, and one nunoboko at any point in time. These items are indestructible. Chakra receiver rods may also be freely generated in infinite quantity, to be tied in with a jutsu listed below.

                                                                                • A God's Demonstration
A renowned skill of the Sage of Six Paths was his ability to transcend space and time to communicate with those who they've established links with. Similarly to Hagoromo's communication, the individuals in question will be pulled into a blank, ethereal world, where they may speak to the user of this skill. Any one user of the Rinnegan may maintain bonds with up to four people at once. However, this skill may not be used within five posts of the user initiating combat. Since this skill is used exclusively outside of combat, the user may have all four individuals at once with no cooldown.

                                                                                • Rinnegan users are able to choose one of the Mangekyou Sharingan techniques to keep, and it receives the following passives as listed below. All of these techniques are then considered Rinnegan Jutsu:
                                                                                - Susanoo: The user's Susanoo may now grow legs, and costs 10 less chakra to summon. (20 chakra to summon, 10 per post after)

                                                                                • Physically superior (+2 base to stats of your choosing).

                                                                                • Is able to produce an unlimited amount of rods, which can also be used to track shinobi who are in possession of one of the rods. RPCs can be debilitated using the rods, using a jutsu listed below.

                                                                                • Can shift +2 to either of your stats, in lieu of losing those points in the other. This is considered a base boost.

                                                                                • Tremendous chakra pools; nearly the energy of a god. (+150 Chakra)

                                                                                • Rinnegan Techniques are strengthened by one rank and the use of handseals have been simplified to hand gestures (i.e. closing the hand, opening the palm, clasping hands, etc.) Upon achieving this Tota, you are considered a Rinnegan Sage.

                                                                                • Opponents in view of the Rinnegan are subject to the most potent scrutiny of all. Chakra points, the flow of their chakra, an in-depth sense of perception capable of predicting how an opponent is going to strike based on the flow of their chakra alone. Opponents with higher chakra levels are much more susceptible to this reading ability. This ability extends to being able to detect movements using displaced chakra in the air. As previously stated, high density of chakra levels in the air can negate this ability rather quickly. This high level of scrutiny also allows Rinnegan wielders to notice the specific chakra natures and attributes inside of an opponent, allowing them to know what elements/bloodlines the opponent has so long as they've seen the chakra before.

NO HANDSEALS -- Because of the ease of use for elemental jutsu of their element, the do not need hand signs for jutsu of their element.

Sage classmen have a -3 training reduction on all ninjutsu of their element

Life in Amegakure was a strange thing to adjust to if he had to be completely honest with himself. It was a large place, towers stretching high into the skies above them further than the normal human eye could see. The place was incredibly dreary, what with the constant downpour of rain upon his head and upon those around him. It was almost as if he would constantly need an umbrella with him just to combat the rain, as if that was his new mortal enemy instead of the Barbarians. What a strange thought to have, you would never think that rain would become such a hassle for someone, but with the lack of breaks between downpours; being that it was one continuous stream of water, it grated on his nerves quite quickly. Being born and raised near Uzushiogakure he was used to warmer and somewhat smoother weather, being that they were by the water the air was always humid and always the right temperature, not too warm yet not too cold at the same time.

Coming here though it was always cold, which thankfully due to his extensive training in extreme conditions such as extreme cold and extreme heat didn't bother him as much as it did his civilians; the ones that survived the Barbarians onslaught that was. Which after hours of combating them there weren't many that actually made it out alive, if not for the Shogun's armies timely assistance they would have most likely all been slaughtered, including himself and his Shinobi; however few he had at the time. They were overwhelmingly powerful, easily able to deflect his attacks whilst launching their own at the same time. Their speed and tactics were far above the average shinobi would have, and above what the average Barbarian should have if the stories about some of them were anything to go off of.

Reaching up to run his fingers through his short black hair, Nobuyuki allowed his piercing crimson eyes to sweep over the crowd that had gathered before the large tower that resided the Amekage, waiting patiently for the man to emerge and give some kind of rousing speech to them. Of course as per usual they were all surrounded by the guards of the Shogun; who were watching them all like hawks to make sure nothing serious happened within the village. Though what could happen that could threaten the Shogun he didn't know, he just hoped that he would never have to actually find out. There were very few things in the world that could strike fear into his heart, and something as large as the army that was within Amegakure that wasn't his or the Amekage's certainly did that. You could tell from the way they stood and the aura they exuded at all times that they were prepared at any moment to slaughter whoever they needed if it meant keeping peace within the village; at least their form of peace. Who's was right had yet to be determined, but he only hoped he wasn't in the middle of it when they were all forced to either swear fealty to the Shogun or the Amekage. Making a quiet tsk sound with his mouth the black-haired male crossed his arms over his chest, leaning against the nearest wall whilst staring at the balcony above.

Rain poured atop his head like a never ending stream, soaking his hair and shirt through to the bones as some would say. He found himself not caring at that moment, he simply wanted to listen to the speech that was supposed to rouse his will to go out and interact with his new allies, make friends and train and do whatever else was expected of a Jounin. As soon as said speech was finished he let his hands fall from his chest before stuffing one in his pocket, keeping one at his side as he walked towards the Amekage's office, following alongside the other ants as they went about their daily lives. After three years of being looked down upon and scorned, Nobuyuki couldn't help but hold some disdain in his heart towards the civilians and other Shinobi from Amegakure. Instead of kindness and open arms for people who'd just lost their home and hundreds of thousands of their closest friends and even some family, they got hatred and disgust; almost as if they were beneath even the Barbarians that invaded them both. Shaking his head slightly the Jounin began his ascension of the stairway leading to the office above him, his crimson eye darting about to take in everything around him. This was his usual response to coming to this office, always wondering if perhaps just around the corner there would be a group of Anbu or Ninja who wanted to end his life for being an Uzushiogakure shinobi, the Uzukage at that.

Reaching the door that lead into the office, Nobuyuki reached forward with one hand before pushing it open slowly, taking in the appearance of every ninja in the room with an apathetic gaze. The three tomoes in his eye spun dangerously before he walked forward, brushing past the girl and male standing near the door speaking to the man. Stopping in front of the desk the man dropped his body into the chair, crossing one leg over his chest before resting his elbow on the right arm. With that done he clenched his fist before leaning his cheek against it, his head lifted slightly so that it would seem as if he was looking at someone beneath him. This was his usual appearance when he spoke with Armand or those within his forces, he would most likely never take them seriously or give them any sort of second glance. The only one who he somewhat acknowledged was the Genin wielder of the Rinnegan who was in his village, simply because like himself she came from Uzushiogakure.

Shifting his attention to focus fully on Armand, Nobuyuki allowed a small smirk to dance across his lips, as if mocking everything he was about to speak. "Rousing speech as always Armand. I almost found myself clapping along this time, sadly though the deliver in the middle was a bit lacking, so it put me off from the whole situation. Maybe next time you'll finally crack the code and give the best speech ever." Tilting his head slightly in thought he gave a soft hum before speaking once more. "Or maybe not, who knows. We'll just have to wait and see I suppose. However enough with that, let's focus on why I've come here today hm? As per usual I've come to get assigned a mission, or perhaps a squad this time, that would definitely spice things up a bit no? Do keep in mind though, if you attempt to give me something I find too risky or downright stupid I will refuse it. I am many things, stupid is not one of them." With that said he fell silent, letting his left arm rest gently in his lap as he stared at the man before him. His Sharingan spun lazily, as if daring the man to make a move against him; daring any of them to make a move. He'd almost always kept his eyes active in this village, lacking the trust necessary to deactivate them when around other Shinobi, simply because he never knew when one of them would try to kill him or someone close to him.

Armand sighed at Hana's laughter and subsequent remark. "I suppose motivation is a word for it. Of course, no small thanks to you. Did you notice how much brighter it seemed when you stepped out for them to see? I feel like they'd want you as the Amekage more than they'd want me. How's about a promotion?" Armand grinned, hoping that he wasn't taken seriously. The Amekage doubted Hana was one for gruesome politics. "At any rate...we'll have to speak to the Shogunate soon. It is an uneasy thing...the watchers."

At that moment, the newly hired interns allowed the incoming shinobi into his office. Armand gave a thoughtful nod to Cecil. "Good to see you again, Cecil. Well...a new guest. I've got no complaints for nice shinobi being thrown into our midst.", He stated, turning now to Rosaline. Quite a mouthful of a name. And...she came all the way from Whirlpool territory. "You have my deepest sympathies. I understand your background, and the will to want to make your home succeed in troubling times. Had you been closer to here, I would've made my best effort to offer your people peace and protection...though I suppose that time is in the past."

Armand frowned slightly. He had promised many tribes protection, and had established much peace through taking in refugees and runaways. Unfortunately, there the Village Massacres was that act backfiring. He'd done good, but he'd also been an indirect cause of much suffering. "Regardless, I welcome you to Amegakure. You are welcome in my village, as military personnel or not. All that I ask is that you do the duty that is asked of you, and you remain loyal to these people." He said, gesturing a hand out towards the balcony and the subsequent crowd below it.

"I suppose I'll nail the formula down one of these days. Mission, hm? Well, you are a jounin around these parts, so I'd be better off giving you a squad of genin to lead around. Do you have any special requests as to who you'll be receiving?" He asked, giving him some leeway to his setup. Armand noticed the active sharingan, at the same state as his. The Amekage always kept his active as well, but he wondered what Nobuyuki's reason for it was. Interesting company that the Rain kept these days.

✝ " I search for salvation

[timeline]

Orias arrived, looking slightly annoyed and weathered into the office where he was supposed to meet the NEW person in charge of everything….how fun. He went against the back wall and gave off a fake smile before turning it into a scowl while crossing his arms.

Kirito waited silently behind the group of people massing together in the office. Drawing attention to himself was troublesome so he would wait for things to become less crowded to get the Amekage's attention.

As per usual the young heir to the Yamana throne was late to appear when summoned. With hands shoveled into his pockets, Masato strode towards the Amekage's Office, listening to the speech that Armand was giving to the village. He had no personal thoughts towards the speech, it served it's purpose. It had sown it's seed into this village's populace. Walking closer to the building the level of it's security was made ever evident with all the Shogunate guards standing around. Seeing the group of soldiers brought back memories from three years ago when the barbarians attacked and then the armies showed up, saving not only their village but apparently Amegakure as well. Even though to most it would be a sigh of relief, to the young male it was a stain on his life, having to be saved by another like that. To him though, he believed they had a greater chance than most to defeat the Generals that were assaulting them that day. Locking eyes with one of the soldiers caused a sigh to escape past his lips.

Pushing such thoughts to the back of his mind he strode past the men and women, working his way towards the top of this tower where the office resided. Upon walking into the room he could see that it was quite lively. On the other side of the office resided the Amekage, his assistant, as well as his father. On this side of the room was a man who he had learned of called Cecil, and then another male named Orias, following a familiar face, that being Rosaline. She was once in his squad in Uzushigakure, but after the attack she was never heard of again. That reminded him of what she had told him that day. That she was a barbarian at heart, and her mind was simply split into two, creating the kind and caring personality that most people saw, and then the other ruthless side that was buried. A certain theory was trying to jump aboard his train of thought but he quickly swatted it away. He had no evidence, nor did he wish to believe that she was capable of doing something like that. It was a bad habit of his, he was too kind hearted for his own good.

Masato would walk over to a corner of the room to get away from the growing group to get some space, but when he did so he would bump shoulders with Kirito, a man who he seldom had interactions with, but simply enough to know his name and the fact that he also was a host of the Hyuuga blood. Giving a friendly wave to his friend or acquaintance, whatever the other party considered them to be, he overheard Armand speaking to his father about a squad. After clearing his throat he would speak out,
Could I be on my father's squad? Or perhaps a different idea I could present to you once we are alone, Lord Amekage? The way Masato called him lord, just something about it said he wasn't being serious, and more so that he was teasing the man. However this wasn't new at all. A common occurrence between the two, like how back in Uzushio he used to attack his father randomly, here he teased Armand. Sure most of the Ame natives didn't take to kindly to it, but it didn't stop him.

As per usual, Raphael was hanging out over the village high upon one of the many skyscrapers that blanketed the landscape. He was doing his daily routine of absorbing lightning from the thunderclouds overhead using himself as a lightning rod. "Thank you for the daily feast, Lord Raijin." He prayed to the fabled Thunder God of his people. Just as he finished his daily worship and channeling was when the "Bells of Rain" had begun to rang throughout the village. 'It was time for the Amekage's speech he had planned to give to the populace like he had done the last two years as today was the day.

Today was the day of the Anniversary of the Village Massacre. It was the day that held just about the same amount of hope as it did embarrassment for the village shinobi. To be saved by the shogun and claiming the village accentually under his tutelage. Don't get me wrong, we held no ill will towards the Shogun, just the opposite really, but it was based on the honor code. Our honor was damaged by this weakness of embarrassment placed upon us by the Barbarians. Now it would seem that everywhere you look, the henchmen of the Shogun were there...watching...monitoring Amegakure as if it was a prison and the Shogun to Warden to that prison. We owed the Shogun much, but our greatest debt was to our pride and it was that debt we would need to repay to the barbarians ten fold one day.'

Raphael arrived at the Amekage's Tower descending from the air from upon a phantom dragon. He listened to the Amekage's speech from atop of one of the buildings that surrounded the tower. As the speech concluded, Raphael let loose three loud thunderous claps to his chest in the form of a chest pound as he shouted to the heavens above, "For Glory! For Lord Armand!" He added at the end as a few others joined in the calling.

Later, Raphael joined Cecil in Armand's Office. "That was a glorious speech, Armand. We shall bring back an era sooner or later. The people cheer and rejoiced in your honor and unity. For that, I thank you. It was even better than last year's." He said as he winked at Hana. "Hana, nice to see you as always." He greeted her as Rosaline introduced herself. He listen to her speak about her time in the village hidden in whirlpools and of the barbarians. "Come on, who cares about that. War is ugly business there are no good guys or bad guys. There were mass casualties on both sides and we killed a lot of them and vise versa. Its war and war, never changes. Besides, everyone that has a clan to call home are technically barbarian in origin, right? I mean, we had to have come from somewhere initially. Like my clan, they joined with another up north in the mountains that are known as the Thunder Plains. We don't have constant rain like here, but it does have frequent thunderstorms." He said with a gilded smile. "At least to me, its not where you been. Its where you plan on going based of where you been....if that make since.." He ended with a head scratcher just as Robuyuki entered the room.
