Adelaide Jean Stone The morning rolled around, and eventually Adelaide was pulled from her slumber. There was a throb in her head that told her something hadn't been right from the night before. As the memories of yesterday filled her mind, she let out a groan and hid her head under her pillow. Between the awkward fight from her friends and the news she'd received from her mother, all she wanted to do was hide from the day and hope things would eventually get better. After a few more minutes, she finally pulled herself out of bed and peeled off her clothes from the day before. She knew she couldn't sleep the day away, no matter how much she wanted to. With a new set of clothes in hand, she made her way to the bathroom to shower and hopefully wash away her current headache. Unfortunately, the shower didn't get rid of the pain in her head, but at least she felt clean now. Her wet hair stayed down and she pulled on her clean clothes; her short, black, jean shorts, and a white crop top. Today was likely going to be a lazy day. At least that's what she was hoping for. She didn't even bother with shoes or socks, and her makeup was currently obsolete. Why bother with makeup when she didn't plan to see anyone. The only person she was currently seeing was her mother who was going on about something or other as she piled food onto a plate for Adelaide to eat.

Zek Zek sat up in his bed and quietly stretched and changed his clothes, making sure to check that all the tags where in the back. Getting the harness onto Bullet and attaching the bar to hold onto, the two made their way downstairs and into the backyard, where Zek let Bullet roam around. Wonder if any of the guys are up yet he thought to himself, taking a seat on the ground. He didn't like that it was hard for him to contact his friends, he couldn't really dial a phone, unless he listened carefully to the tones, he couldn't read texts or emails. Zek let out a small sigh, things were rough but he was glad to have Cyrus in his foster group. It gave him a friend that could actually see that stuff and know how to get to cool new places, and message their friends. The thought made him smile a bit It's nice to have someone that's there he thought patting Bullet on the head as the dog nudged his leg. "Yeah, I got you too Bullet." he said.

Cyrus Alman The morning came quickly, and Cyrus's most memorable dream was insane in hindsight as he lazily sat up and let the covers fall into his lap. He rubs the sleep from his eyes, but they still burned with the need to be closed again. He shook off the temptation and looked around the room. Most of the other beds were empty except a couple of boys still snoozing through the morning. It would only be a matter of time though before someone came to wake the rest of them up. Miss Tracy never let anyone sleep passed 10am on any given morning. He looked over at the sound of a voice and smiled, seeing Zek already awake. Bullet was near him as happy as ever to be alive. "Mornin' Zek." Cyrus croaked out, forcing him to clear his throat. Once his voice seemed more reliable: "Feel like breakfast? Maybe we should hit up something from the store instead though? I'm pretty sure it's a pig sty in the dining room now, because everyone else is already there."He was still wearing yesterday's clothes, but wasn't really feeling the want or need to change them, except for maybe his T-shirt. Slipping his shoes on, he stood from the bed and started rummaging through his dresser for a clean T-shirt. when he found it he changed into it and headed out the door. "I'll wait downstairs for a bit if you decide you'd like to come with me." He said back to Zek who seemed lost in thought for the moment. Once downstairs, Cyrus found he was right about the kitchen. Not only was it wrecked, but Miss Tracy was humming quietly while washing the dishes with some of the boys who had stayed to help. There were almost never left overs packed into the fridge, but Cyrus felt the need to check anyway. Miss Tracy looked over at him with a knowing smirk. "You know there isn't anything in there for you. They finished it all." A couple of the boys laughed softly. Everyone has missed breakfast at one point or another if they woke up too late. Closing the fridge Cyrus gave her a pouting grimace and leaned against it. "I know." He replied. "If you clear off the table, and sweep the floor, I'll give you something so you can get your breakfast from the store nearby." She said. Miss Tracy wasn't a demanding woman, but she always had opportunities for the boys to earn some cash. Although, she encouraged the fact that they would earn far more in a paycheck than the five or ten bucks they could get from giving her a hand around the home. "Yes Ma'am." Cyrus replied, and set himself to the small tasks.

Titus FeaghanWhen there was no response from his sister, Titus assumed she had spent the night with some other random guy and hadn't returned home last night. He gave a sad sigh and left her door to go take his shower. Once out of the bathroom, clean and dressed for the day, Titus grabbed his phone and headed down stairs. Thankfully none of his siblings or parents were around at the moment so he didn't have to worry about interacting with them. He loved his family, but just wasn't in any mood to have to put up with them right now. Titus left through the front door and pulled his phone out, fiddling with it a bit. He wanted to text Cody and see if she was alright. He also wanted to text Cyrus for the same reason. At the same time, he wasn't sure texting was the best way to go about that particular conversation. Face to face might be better. But then he would have to choose between the two, at least on who he would see first. Titus pulled on his curls in frustration, running his fingers through his hair and scrunching his face up as he walked, still conflicted on his destination. Finally, Ti gave a huff of air and made a determined face before deciding he would first check on Cyrus. Cody was a girl, no matter how much she pretended she wasn't, and likely needed more space and time. Titus had learned that from having sisters of his own. Cyrus might be able to deal with the problem more easily, especially since he tended to face his issues head on instead of hiding behind them like Cody. With a curt nod to himself, Titus made up his mind and started heading for Cyrus' foster home. ---------- --- ----------- A few moments later, a soft knocking could be heard on the door of Miss Tracy's home and the woman stopped washing dishes and dried her hands on a towel before going to answer it. "Oh, hello Titus. You are just in time to help Cyrus out. You can either clear the table or sweep the floor and he can do the other." She winked at him, inviting him inside. Miss Tracy was always nice to Titus and pretty much treated him just like very other kid in her home, like family. He liked that about her. "Hello, Miss Tracy. Sure, I don't mind helping out." Ti smiled at her and walked inside. "Cyrus, your friend is here. If you boys do a good job, I'll give you a little extra cash so Titus can get something too." She said, announcing Ti's arrival to his friend before going back to washing dishes at the sink. Aw, that's ok, you don't have to do that. Hey Cyrus. Ti said, turning from Miss Tracy to his friend. He grabbed up the broom and started helping out with the chores while glancing over at Cyrus. He had a friendly smile on but he was still a little nervous, hoping Cyrus wasn't still too upset about yesterday. He almost felt like he had to walk on eggshells, unsure of how to bring it up and make sure his friend was ok.

Cyrus Alman Cyrus heard the knock, and thought nothing of it. Miss Tracy didn't allow any of the boys to answer the door at any time. All visitors went through her at all times. He had already started sweeping the floor of the rather large kitchen and conjoined dining area so when Miss Tracy announced Titus's arrival he smiled a bit and motioned toward the table. "You know she'll insist. She's very reward-happy." He told Titus. "I'm already sweeping though, so the table is all that is left." As the other boys took over the rest of the pile of dishes, Miss Tracy left to fix up the living room. "What are you up to today man?" Cyrus asked, looking back down at the floor where he was sweeping. He was glad to see Titus really, and even though he was reminded of yesterday's incident almost immediately because Titus had been there, it made him feel less embarrassed. He, however, was nervous. What if Titus was upset with how Cyrus had treated Cody yesterday? Cyrus had already began to beat himself up with scenarios on how he could have better handled that situation.

Adelaide Jean Stone Though Adelaide had loved the idea of hiding away at home, she was quickly remembering why she didn't like being here. Her mother could be quite aggravating. Sometimes she wondered if that was the real reason her father worked as much as he did. Finishing up her breakfast, she got up and walked away without a word. As she went into her room, she could hear her mother hollering about how it was rude to just walk away from people like that. To be honest, she really didn't care right now. Once in her room, she went ahead and started to apply her makeup, then grabbed her socks and black chucks. She didn't know where she was going, but she needed out of here before she said something to her mother that she would regret later. Deciding she didn't want to listen to the woman question where she was off to, she grabbed a jacket and slipped out her window. It wasn't particularly cold, but she was still dressed in her black shorts and white top. It could easily get cold. Pulling the jacket on, she pulled out her phone and sent out a text to everyone. 'I need a distrraction. Help. -Ada'

Zek Zek heard Cyrus's voice and nodded a bit shaking his thoughts out of his head. Double checking his own clothes and Bullet's sightseeing harness the two follow Cyrus down stairs. "Morning Miss Tracy." Zek said with a small smile. He could hear the broom brushing the floor and after hearing Cyrus's voice talking to Titus he put two and two together. "Hey Titus, what's up? You guys want some more help?" he asked. He knew that he couldn't really do some tasks very well, but he still liked to help out. After all his friends always helped him with everything. When Bullet spotted Cyrus and Titus, his tail started wagging, happy to see the two up and about, though he stayed next to Zek who still held onto the bar attached to his harness.

Titus FeaghanTitus just chuckled at Cyrus' mention of Miss Tracy insisting on paying him. He knew it was true. Nodding to his friend, he grabbed up a washing rag and started to clean the table. "Nothing really, I just wanted to hang out with you guys today, if that's alright. Home sucks so you guys are much better company. Sure Zek, can you wipe that side of the table down?" Titus added, grabbing another rag and putting it in the other's hand. He patted the side of the table he was referring to so Zek could hear and locate it while he returned to the side he had been previously scrubbing. A buzzing in his pocket told Titus that he had gotten a text from someone so he quickly finished up his half of the table before pulling his phone out and checking it. It was a short message from Adelaide and she seemed upset. Hopefully it wouldn't lead to more drama like yesterday. That was the last thing Titus wanted to deal with. "Looks like Addy could use our company too. You want to pick her up on our way to get breakfast?" He said, lifting up his phone to show Cyrus the text. Titus would have shown Zek too but... well, yeah.
