Phoenix347 chibi_blue_mouse Actually, it's unknown how many years ago the events of the Kingdom Hearts series took place. For all we know it could have been a hundred years ago. Although, Yen Sid is still alive, but he's a Disney character and therefore kinda immortal . . . But let's assume that because Yen Sid is still alive, it hints that the original KH cast is still alive as well. We still don't have a timeframe to tell us how many years have passed since the events of KH3. (I'm guessing KH3 since the intro to the rp says that the good triumphed over the evil.) But let's assume Yen Sid is . . . 60 or 70 when we see him in KH2 and DDD. 20 or 30 years is a pretty good estimate as to when this rp would be taking place. Okay, now assuming that everyone on the side of the light survived the events of KH3, Aqua, Terra, Ventus, and Lea would likely be in their 40s or 50s. Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas, and Xion would all be in their 30s or 40s. (Ventus might be included in this group since we don't actually know if he aged while sleeping or not.) But the most condemning evidence that the original cast have gone into retirement and likely aren't going to help out is that the the Kingdom Key and the Kingdom Key D have left their original owners (Sora and Mickey) and have moved on to a new generation. We've learned from the games that each keyblade wielder has their own unique Keyblade. For Riku it is Way to Dawn, Sora has the Kingdom Key. Even Eraqus had his own keyblade and only passed it on to Aqua when he DIED. So, let me support a new theory on the basis of this RP. The final battle against Xehanort. 7 lights vs 13 darknesses. Or is it? We knew that some of those fighting to protect the light use the power of darkness. Maybe they got Terra out okay, but he's still one of the darknesses. So we have 7 lights and ??? darknesses against the remaining darknesses trying to basically destroy the world. Now, we saw what happened to Ventus when him and his dark half battled and Ventus won. It came at a large cost. It destroyed both him and his dark half and they were only able to really survive because Ventus found solace in Sora's heart. Well, this time Sora's part of the battle. Let's say they were able to get three of the 13 darknesses on their side to protect the light and maintain balance. It's an even battle. 10 vs 10. Based on the fact that all these keyblades are available to 9 teenagers, who's to say that what happened in the final battle against Xehanort in the world of this rp didn't reflect EXACTLY what happened in the final battle between Ventus and Vanitus. Both sides are destroyed to maintain the balance. (Yes, Mickey too if his keyblade is available to my character.) But that's just a theory. And I am so desperate for KH3 to come out that I've started theorizing the events that happen in it based on the premise for an RP. XP sweatdrop Ummmm simple thing to break that all; I said thirty or more cause if these people are teenagers/young adults raised on the legends, then the least the original cast could be is in their thirties or so ((Riku for example at 17 in KHII, and the oldest character is 20, so he might near 40, give a couple years for the legends to spread about)) If they were older/deceased, then it'd work for the 'more' category... The theory started moving less on the age of the characters and more on the basis that the keyblades where suddenly available and why the hell AREN'T the original characters coming in to save the day against the darkness like they did last time? Yen Sid is still alive, and he's easily the oldest of the 'main' characters. But everyone else isn't there? That seems to imply that they all died. XP I don't think that's what's going to happen in KH3, though. Since the creator said it'd end the Xehanort Arc, but that Sora's story would continue. However, I'm not sure if someone is going to die or not (Besides Xehanort, obviously) since we've seen that Squeenix is willing to kill off chracters (FF series) HOWEVER! It's a collab with Disney . . . who NEVER kill off a main character unless it's to bring them back through the magical power of true love. Kinda like the fake-out with got with Goofy in KH2. I mean, come on! Who actually believed he was really dead?! It's GOOFY! Aaaaand now I'm ranting. XD

Never really thought about where I'd be exactly... 14 years later... Eh... Still kicking butt like a bada$$ for sure. Xp I'd be old enough to drive Cid's airship! : D OMG.... confused Since this thread is mostly for keyblade bearers, maybe if I don't get kicked out for intruding, I can bring in an OC... I kinda jumped in the OOC thread without authorization or invitation... Buuuut... To also add onto the theories, I'll remind people the ultimate goal of xanahort is and probably always will be kingdom Hearts which requires the x - blade to open, which split into 7 pieces of light and 13 of darkness. While mickey might have they keyblade for darkness, he still fights for the light as he hasn't been consumed by darkness.

Phoenix347 The Sphinxy Yay! Thanks everyone for welcoming me. I meant to introduce myself but forgot. lol I'm excited to play a sibling to Oblivion. Should be fun. I'll post soon, I kind of have an idea in mind and since everyone is in the Land of Dragons I'll bring Diana there as well. Was just missing Akira having a sister until you came XD Let me know if you want to build any past events for them or such! Edit- I REMEMBER THAT SIGNATURE! Unless they want to delay it more. >.< lol

And yes, KHIII will have the battle between the thirteen xanahorts and 7 warriors of light.
