Claude looked around when his name was called,having gone into a daydream while fixing Liz's hair.''Hm? Did someone call me?....Ah.Ashton-san,your back.I'm sorry.Elliot is skilled at playing that dangerous instrument.It's easy to slip into a daydream when he plays a harp.What did you need,Ashton-san?'' Claude said.As soon as the demon finished talking,he recalled what Ashton said.''Oh? Good job Ashton-san.Have you gotten rid of the weeds and mowed the lawn as well? And you don't have to bother with the snake over here.Eventually she'll go back to her zoo and leave us be,hopefully sooner rather than later.'' Claude said.Thanks to Elliot's music playing,he had stopped being angry at Sydney.Now he was just annoyed by her and really wanted her gone.

She looked puzzled when Ashton talked in front of her, she then looked annoyed when he talked directly to her. She looked around as if to see if anyone else was seeing this. She turned to him and raised an eye brow "Excuse me but it if polite in this estate for a landscaper to talk to the desk while they eat?" she asked, but it was rhetorical. "I guess I'm done eating" She stated pushing the salad away.
"honestly maybe you guys should just serve your lunches to the ones who work here" She stood up and brushed off some.
She walked to the windows on the other side of the room looking out. The sun was out and it was a nice day. The orchard was beautiful as always. She turned to some people sitting at the table next to her and actually had friendly chatter.
She turned to the table Liz was at a shot a small glare then a smile. She walked up to them and announced "Ill be walking around now- landscaper- you may ask me how im doing if you see me out and about in the orchards. that would appropriate."

Claude had managed to ignore the witch called Sydney until he noticed her glare at his Lady.He was sent into a controlled anger and he was seriously considering slapping her in the face.''Did she just look at milady like I think she did? Oh heck no.'' Claude said then followed Sydney.''You will not glare in milady's direction in her own home.Sydney,get out of this house before you make me hurt you.I've been nice enough to not slap you in the face even though you seriously need a slap in the face.'' Claude said.

Liz giggled a bit at Claude's conversation with Ashton, he seemed so nonchalant about it. And the music in the background was such a huge contrast from the mood between Sydney and Claude.
Liz nodded when Sydney asked if the workers were actually allowed to talk to the guests of the house. She knew that it was rhetorical but felt the need to make her point that the workers here were in fact allowed to converse with people. As Sydney pushed her salad away and got up stating that she had finished and would be walking around some, Liz gave a kind smile ignoring the glare,"Alight, enjoy your stay. If you need any assistance feel free to ask one of the helpers." Liz spoke before turning back to her cake and taking another bite, Yep sweets make everything better. she thought to herself with a small smile.
Hearing Claude who had also seen the glare from Sydney, but had decided to speak out about it. She couldn't help but to laugh a bit at Claude saying 'Oh heck no.' she didn't think she'd ever heard him say that before, and it just sounded so sassy. Looking over at Claude, Liz smiled a bit "Don't worry, I'm sure that it wasn't intended to come off like that." Liz said trying to get Claude to calm down a bit. She knew what he was capable of when he got angry and the last thing she wanted was for that to happen during the afternoon lunch.

''You don't accidentally give that kind of look to someone,Milady.If she doesn't get out,I'm going to end up hitting her.I'll accept whatever scolding or punishment you wish to give me afterwards.I don't know if she's jealous of you or what her problem is but she will not just come into your home and insult you,Lord James,and your home the entire time she's here without me defending you.I don't care who she is or who she thinks she is or what she is.She will not just crawl out from her rock and insult you both in your own home.She needs a slap in the face and I'd be more than happy to slap her.'' Miss Sydney Vonnette Sydney looked annoyed and raised her eye brow at "Liz i think you need to tell this attack dog to back off- its sunny, i didn't bring my sunglasses- and some times that just how my face looks" She said looking pouty.
"Seriously everyone around here seems to get so bent out of shape all the time. Its hostile" She said loud enough for other guests to hear. Many stopped eating and were watching Sydney. "Listen, butler- I'm sorry if you think I'm glaring but maybe it would be best for business and your manners to ignore it. Its not like a glare can do anything. I hope when you wake up tomorrow you realize how silly you are being today- all bent out of shape and all" She looked around to some of the guests "Honestly ill put this all behind me- i understand working here must be hard- maybe you guys don't sleep enough- being unorganized and all"
She started to walk out by the table Liz was at "Honey it was great as always- you let me know if you need help around here" She went for a huge and to kiss Liz on the cheek. "Tah tah" We did a small wave and smiled at Claude scrunching her noise up at him as she went for her walk.
As she strolled outside she looked up at lot at the house, walking slowly, and making sure her hips waved.

Claude hissed as she left.He then returned to Liz.''The wicked witch is gone,Milady.I'm sorry but you know I hate her.I don't like the way she talks about you and Lord James.It's so rude and ungrateful.'' Claude said,gently taking Liz's hand before kissing it in an apologetic fashion.''She is right about one thing though.I do kind of act like a dog.I love being with you.When you leave me to go to work or school,I worry about you because I don't want you to have an episode without me around.When you come home,I'm glad to see your safe.I'm very loyal to you and try my best to protect and defend you.And I'm very happy to serve you..He sighed,letting go of his anger.He then looked at Liz,his voice calm and gentle as it usually was when he spoke to her.''Did you enjoy your cake,Liz? Would you like me to get you anything? I can get you another slice of cake or a drink.'' He said.

Liz looked at Sydney as she excused herself from the table and gave Liz a hug and a kiss on the cheek. It was odd how in that moment, she didn't seem like a bad person at all. Most of her anger seemed to focus on the house and it's servants, not so much on Liz and James, or at least that was what Liz was thinking. She gave a small wave as Sydney left "I will, you take care."she said giving a small smile.
As soon as Sydney was out of the house and the door shut behind her, Liz let out a sigh of relief and relaxed back in her chair. It felt like every time Sydney showed up a verbal war started. Even if Sydney meets Claude's gaze the tension would rise between the two.
Liz's attention turned onto Claude as he kissed her hand apologetically. It was always funny how old school he got sometimes. Liz nodded at Claude's question "It was very great, I would expect no less from Akira." she spoke giving a small smile though it wasn't all that hard to see that she was a bit upset. "No, I'm fine. After that ordeal though, you and Elliot might want to get a drink." she spoke calmly, she always felt bad when Sydney dissed the staff.

She walked slowly, here and there around the property. She mostly was walking towards her estate, but taking a long way. Coming around a corner she spotted a young maid, one she knew she had seen earlier today. A devil cat like smirk pierced her lips as she walked with confidence in the young maids direction.
One eye brow raised she did a circle around the maid, looking down on her physically and mentally. "Wow...you're very cute for a maid- you...are a maid right?" Her voice echoed with hidden agenda all over it. She took her lip stick out of her hand bag and reapplied it as she waited for the maid to answer.
Misa continues on her work with the flowers. She looked around, making sure no one is in sight. Once the cost was clear she started to hum the song Liz sung earlier that day. -I wonder if shes still singing.... Hmmm I'll go check once I'm done here- going down the path, watering the plants, she was startle by a voice behind her. Jumping up in place she turns to see the lady from before. The women said she was cute and asked if she was a maid. Misa started to blush when she called her "cute". Feeling really nervous she says "Yes I am a maid.... Still kind of new here.." She gives a bow "but if you need anything... I am here to assist you"

Liz laughed a bit as Claude impersonated Sydney, he was pretty spot on. She gaze turned onto Elliot as he walked over and hugged her seeing that she was upset. "Your playing was beautiful, as always."she smiled placing a gentle hand lightly over Elliot's arm. She then looked back at Claude and gave a small shrug "I manage to put up with it because I've had worse than her." Liz said looking at the table as she took a small sip of her tea. "I just don't like how she picks on you all. She acts as if you're our slaves, but to me you're all my friends." Liz spoke her voice warm as she gave a small smile.
She never really told anyone about the people that had bullied her when she was younger. Her brother knew since he had ended up fighting some of them off, but there were others he didn't know. From that, Liz had learned that you can't let them have even the tiniest victory of making her upset.

She kept walking a slow circle around the maid.
"Its my understanding that Mr Khiavelli is in. I knows hes doing paper work but could you be a doll and slip this to him?" She asked taking a enclosed envelope out of her hand bag. It had a wax in print on the front, with her family crest on it. "that's a good, maid, thank you" she said handing it over."and lets keep this between him you and me huh?" She started to sound dangerous. She winked at the maid "You really do pull of that maid outfit"
She then waved good bye and started walking back to her estate. Bigger plans in motion. She seemed very pleased with herself.

Elliot said then stood next to her.''And we're honored to be treated as such.Your so sweet and kind to us.Though I'm technically a slave.I didn't go from boss to boss because I initially wished to.I was sold from one person to the next.And my parents were slaves as well.They just happened to be sold to the same person and worked for the Lord that lived there.They were treated like you treat me and the Lord's home had the same type of atmosphere as your home does-kind and where maids and butlers act like the maids and butlers anywhere else.We were never mistreated or anything.And the people I ended up working for treated me the same way.Our family has mostly free people though.Elliot freely serves you because he was free before.He quit his job of his own will to become a butler.I'm technically a slave so I don't have the option to quit but Elliot does.Not that we ever would.I'm just saying.If you'd continue having us,we'd still be fretting over you when you go to college,interrogating your boyfriend to make sure he's nice to you,and trying to see if we can babysit your children after you eventually get married.'' Claude said.''And we'll probably still be debating on who your favorite butler is.'' Elliot said and chuckled.''Of course.The war to win the title of Liz's favorite butler is a long one.It is not concluded until our Lady tells us to stop behaving like five year olds.'' Claude said then chuckled.''But we can't speak for all the servants.Some may have a similar background to Claude or one like mine,where they willingly serve others in this fashion.'' Elliot said.''But ether way,we don't like that witch upsetting our Liz.There are people with slaves that treat them badly and she's just a lighter version of them.She might not physically beat her servants but if she treats them anything like she treats us,they also deal with being talked down to and insulted.'' Claude said.''But your a strong young lady for putting up with her.You don't have to let her in your home at all.You two spending time together and talking could end at your door.But you still put up with her and her insults.'' Elliot said.''If she tried it with someone else,they likely wouldn't put up with it like you do.She'd get hurt or kept from coming into the house.'' Claude said.

Liz giggled when the two said that they would be interrogating her boyfriend once she got one, she could just picture the two of them standing over the boy asking a million questions."Don't call yourself a slave." Liz said looking at Claude "I would understand I you wished to leave and I'm sure my brother would as well. Sure we'd be upset to see you go, but we'd be happy to see you do what you love to do." Liz smiled, standing up from her seat having finished her cake and tea. "I think the war on who's my favorite is going to go on forever by the way." Liz giggled, everyone her brother had hired was so friendly and kind.
"I think I'm going to go for a little walk in the gardens, the orchards looked so nice this morning through the windows, Ashton does such a great job with keeping them looking nice." Liz smiled. She loved seeing the plants and walking through the gardens, it made her calm down and allowed her to clear her mind."Oh, can you two make sure that my brother ate something for lunch? You know how sometimes he loses track of time." Liz said concerned for her older brother. Taking out a small notepad and pen that she kept on her almost all the time she leaned onto the table and started writing. Her and her brother tended to leave notes over the place for one another, so have it sent with something.

Once she finished writing, she folded the paper and wrote James's name on it before holding it out "And could you bring him this too?" Liz asked smiling a bit.
