People watching had always amused Gavin. This morning was no exception. He wasn’t sure if it was the small town atmosphere but everyone was very friendly. Greeting him as they walked by and one little old lady even struck up a conversation with him. Luckily she had to get to coffee with friends so she moved on quickly. It wasn’t that Gavin didn’t like people, but he honestly just didn’t have much to say that anyone wanted to hear. He was an angry, hormonal teenager that was just sent away to private school. Not the sort of thing you wanted to get into during that casual ‘how are you’ exchange that everyone did and no one actually meant. Seriously. They would say it, but no one actually was wonder how he was doing, how he felt, what he needed. It was sort of irritating that people used it. But, he kept all that to himself, just nodding and saying ‘good’ as they passed on their way.

It was getting closer to the time for class to start and a few early students were making their way to campus. Soon enough he saw a blonde with a bike helmet that he remembered passing the day before. Judging from the searching look in her eyes, she was still figuring out the campus. "Is this where class is?"

Gavin nodded as he took another drink of coffee. Swallowing, he continued, ”If you’re looking for Geometry, than your in the right place. If not I probably won’t be much help.” Looking at his watch he guessed that he still had time. He wasn’t exactly the type to arrive first, after all. Pointing to the girl’s helmet, ”I saw your ride when I was moving in yesterday. Nice. How long have you had it?” Granted, not the chatty type, but he could spare a few words to talk motors and gears.

Minori blushed lightly.''I-I'm not perfect...I-I don't know why you call me that.'' he said shyly.He ate his food and rinsed his plate.He had been throwing his phone,black ipod,and earbuds into his bag when he realized something.''Ah! I didn't make lunch so you'll have go without a Minori's cooking:lunch version today...I'll have to buy something to eat.I won't have enough time during lunch to buy groceries then come home to make something....I mean I might be able to but I don't like to rush my cooking...I'll have boxed lunch prepared for us tomorrow.'' he said softly.Hearing his last sentence,he blushed abit more.''I-I'm only making food for you cause I-I have to make sure you eat something.I-I don't want you starving yourself.And let's go to the store after school.I can buy more groceries and maybe we'll be able to find the tv you came out of.'' he said,packing a bottle of water and putting extra money in his pocket.He then stood by the door,waiting for the male.''I-I'm only w-waiting for y-you cause we're going to the same place.'' he said,blushing.He didn't know why he was blushing so much around the male.He couldn't of had a crush on him or anything.He concluded that it was the red haired male's fault and that otherwise,he was normal.''Isn't that called a crush though? But that couldn't be true...I can't have a crush on someone.I'm too shy.And I still have to keep an eye on him in case he's just joking with me.'' he thought.

Walking through the hallways carefully checking the number of each room she walked by, Rin finally spotted the classroom for her first class. As she walked in, Rin noticed a few people had already arrived, moving quietly inside she took a seat up front and brought out a notebook and a pencil before she placed her hat into her backpack. Her gaze didn't linger from her desk, as she was a bit nervous to meet anyone's gaze, she wasn't even sure if she had sat down next to anyone.

Moments later a familiar voice spoke calmly to her "Hey Rin, glad to see you found the classroom.". Looking up from her desk, Rin nodded and gave a small smile to her brother "Yeah, I was a bit worried about not being able to find it so I left early." Rin explained. Her nerves calmed down a bit knowing that her brother was going to be in class with her. Now the only problem would be people telling the two apart from one another, in the last school they had been in, there had been a lot of mix-ups a few more awkward than others. Like the one where a boy asked Ryu to meet him after school then confessed having feeling to who he had thought was Rin. Yeah the two never forgot that one. But between how they looked the same and sounded the same, they knew that people couldn't really help it, and Rin not liking girly clothes made it even harder for people to tell.

"I'm going to go grab a seat. We'll talk later, alright?" Ryu spoke calmly and after getting a nod from Rin, he walked over to the third row and took one of the seats off to the side so he'd only have to sit next to one person. Rin knew that Ryu didn't like to sit at the front of the class, something about having all those people behind him tended to make him nervous.

Once he sat down in one of the seats, Ryu took out the supplies he was going to need for the class then placed his hat on top of his backpack. He wasn't really sure about the school's policy on hats, but both the twins out of habit didn't wear hats indoors unless they had been placed next to a window on a really sunny day.

There was a difference between someone who had a cool ride because their loved their car/bike/what-have-you, and someone who just wanted to be made cooler by their wheels. The blonde seemed pretty stoked about her bike but usually you had to see a person behind the wheel/handbars to really know how much of a gear head they were. All and all, she seemed relaxed, laid back, not like she was going to be irritating him; he appreciated those qualities. ”I helped restore a 1950 Vincent Black Shadow. Belonged to a friend of the family. I took it out a few times once it was running. It almost had me going after a bike. But I fell for a ’67 Impala that a mechanic friend and I restored. The trip out here was hard on her though. She in the shop in the city.”

More and more students were arriving. Sighing, he glanced down at his watch again.”I guess, it’s that time.” Shouldering his bag and gathering his coffee, he nodded toward class, indicated that she could walk with him if she wanted to. It wasn’t a come on or a presumption. They were standing together and about to walk to the same place, it would have been awkward to walk at a comfortably staggered distance in silence as if they hadn’t just been talking.

As they walked through the halls, Gavin realized that the school had not just been taken over by a hipster prep fad as he had originally assumed. Those plaid pants were uniform. That was so not in his information that had been sent to them. Or perhaps it was and his father conveniently destroyed it before he could see it. There was no freaking way. And plaid? While he fully acknowledged that he was a sexy beast, plaid pants was just a style that he didn’t think he could rock.

Walking into class, he headed straight for a desk in the back of the room. Granted, Math was his subject, but that didn’t mean he was going to be piping up and getting chatty with the teacher. He just wanted to get through this year and didn’t care if he wasn’t setting any school records along the way. He had raised his chin to Rin as he walked past her, and then spotted her brother on the other side of the room. Granted, he wasn’t entirely sure that it wasn’t the other way around. But he had Rin pegged as a ‘sit in the front row’ type. The few others that were already sitting, he hadn't seen around campus yet. Dropping his bag and sliding into a desk at the back center of the room, he slid into his seat and pulled out his text book. Class hadn’t started yet and he’d rather have something to do to keep his hands busy.

Flipping through the pages, he made a bit of a face. Because his education was ‘non-traditional’ at best, he was given more flexibility with class choices. Geometry had never really thrilled him. Algebra and Trigonometry were more his thing. So now, he was in class with quite a few younger students, taking this class as a senior. As he scanned the material, he thought perhaps it wasn’t so bad. But class was going to have to start to be a better judge of that.
