She raised a brow. "Dude, just tell me. It's not like I will tell anyone....your the only person I currently know in some little way. I....kind of want to know more if I am alright to be selfish about it but c'mon........it's your Mom is it?" She thought about it was his mom. "If I know Moms, they only want to know that you love them back and appreciate them, they don't expect expensive stuff..." She then saw he was standing up as well as he said he didn't remember much about yesterday....she frowned lightly hoping to make sense of the dreams...do they pick on something people are emotionally connected to? She wished she could know.

"But it's your choice, I don't really have a right to say what you should do. And...since I have to wait a bit...I'll accompany you." She had her hands in the jacket pockets as she followed him outside. In all honestly, being in the mall was somewhat exciting. "Have you been to the mall often? And is it...fun?"

She nodded to him as they walked around the mall, it was a little noisy especially the people in those weird booths in the middle of the store, trying to grab people's attention. She learned a bit that it was best to not give them any eye contact whatsoever as they kept on walking. "Yeah, I get it. She'll like whatever you get her."

They then stopped at a store that did seem more feminine and that made her a little hesitate but they went there, probably because of the possible gift items. He then asks if she needed anything while she was here. She blinked a couple of times and then chuckled: "Even if I want something, I can't afford it. I want to save as much money as possible to go to college...nothing but a pipe dream but I am trying." She then picked up a perfume bottle that said lavender and tried it on herself...a big gush of scents overwhelmed her and she had to put it down and back off. "Perfumes are frickin strong." She mumbled before picking up another sample bottle to try. "Do people really use this stuff...weird way to attract people."

She raised a brow when he responded that it was meant to be strong, to get people's attention. She thought to herself to never have perfume on during 'work' per say. He then got a bit close and sniffed the perfume she had on, complimenting how it smelled good on her. "Weirdo." She chuckled, putting down the bottle, now asking if she wanted some. "Yeah...no thanks dude. Thanks anyways. Save that money for the gift you want." As soon as she said that though, something got her attention.

She bent down to the bottom shelf as she picked up what seemed to be a pink book. It was called "What I Love about you by _______" which meant Akira would put his name on the line or something. She flipped through the pages to see there were things one can fill out, like one of them said "I never get tired of your ___________" which meant Akira can put whatever he wanted. She looked at the price tag and saw it was only 10 dollars...pretty good. "Hey Akira...." She then showed him the little pink book. "Maybe this one can help, seems cute...not expensive, and you can customize it. There are little statements you can fill out whatever you want to for your Mom." She now can only wait if he thought the little book will help or not...if not, they will have to continue searching.

She frowned. "Well....there goes my idea." She puts down the book and crossed her arms, trying to find another idea to give to his 'Mom'. "I don't think it's kiddish...." She mumbled as another piece caught her eye. She saw four orbs on a stand, which were selling as a set. She then saw they were giving in an aroma of some sort. She read the tag that they were called Healing Scent Diffusers, made by Stephen Kitras. The orb was painted in different colors and held wooden reeds that give off a scent of its choosing. She read what each four had:

Passion: Fiery prisms of color are heightened with an intimate blend of cinnamon and vanilla.

Energized: Bold, rainbow swirls dance with the enlivening scent of plumeria.

Unwind: Mellow, purple streams compliment a soothing lavender fragrance.

She then saw the price which for one was 29.99, but taking the whole set was 69.99 which would be a cool, but expensive gift. Next to the balls was a little piece of earring hanging by itself, the tag called it Auroral Earrings, which it was described on the tag below: "Delicate botanical-inspired etches add unexpected shimmer to these dark wood earrings. Beautifully hand crafted by artisans in India, these eye-catching teardrop earrings bring an organic touch of style to your ensemble." The tag said it was about 18 dollars.

"Hey dude, over here." She had her hand out and then held each item on her hand, one held the scent diffusers and the other had the earrings. "Which one seems good? Scented orbs or a pair of earrings?" This seemed like a fun treasure hunt, she was dying to try to find the answer for this poor guy. The poor guy wanting to get something for his Mom.

Shilga shrugged as she gave him the earrings as she put the orbs back. She did make a mental note to herself to probably get one of them for her 'shack', it would probably make her feel better about it. She stared at the orbs and thought of the plumeria one as she came to him, since he was the one to make the purchase after all. "They look nice...seem pretty smooth as well..." She shrugged slightly as she then turned her head slightly to see what else this store had...but nothing currently interested her.

Once he would go to check out to get the earrings, she wondered what else they had to offer in this mall. In all honestly, she thought of having a book collection, or take up drawing since she heard drawing can be a good stress-reliever. Now they were out of the store, as Akira might've found what he wanted. "Besides food, jewelry, perfume, and those nice scented-orbs...what else do they offer?" She had her hands on her pocket as she kept wandering around the store with just her eyes, taking it in. "Anything you like to do for fun in here? You probably need to add some fun to your life. My only fun is a good hike where I am...maybe see a mountain lion...a coyote or a wolf if super lucky."

"Interesting...." She mumbled, since she always thought videogames were a big huge thing for her age group, hell it would be fun if she had the money to get some. "Oh.....and no problem." She almost forgot to respond to his thanks for her help...she thought she didn't do much really...just threw in suggestions at him.

"I name it? Does that mean they have Sci-Fi Weapons? HA! Kidding." She snickered in amusement before they kept on walking, nothing much interested her since she had no money to just throw away at the stuff. Well...she would like to have a dog....that would be nice. "I always thought of a dog but....one doesn't deserve the s**t I am dealing with...so it's an easy guess that I am not getting one." She did a small smile. "I think that'll be the first thing I get if I get actual shelter like...when I actually pay bills or get a job, it'll be a dog." She then kind of stopped. "Speaking of that, do you like dogs?" She had to ask. "Let's just ask the first question as we are partners of a school assignment...." She had the hands in the hoodie's pockets as she kept walking with him, exploring the mall with her eyes. "Maybe a bookstore would be cool too...damn expensive though."

"I like to read...it's kind of the only entertainment I have." She chuckled a little, it was not of happiness though...it was the kind of chuckle one used if they tried to make a joke out of something that was pathetic. "I could only read in the public library or school because well...money....don't need to explain it." She then took a look around the mall as she happened to look up the second floor. A movie theater and an arcade was up above them. The movie theater only had five movies playing and the arcade seemed a bit bigger...almost as big as the Banana Republic store.

"You said you rather play board games....is there a place we can play a board game or something? Just one round...then I'll be heading home." She was mostly staring at the Arcade though, almost curious as to what it was like.
