"Mmhumm, right!" Taavi agreed with Sasha, a bit distracted by taking pictures of the lovely Vulpix but still engaged in the conversation. "It looks like it's come from a wing, not from the body.... Wow she really likes the camera hu?" Taavi beamed, the gold-furred Vulpix was moving towards them but pausing every so often to let him catch another flattering profile or partial profile.

After some hesitation Swift trotted towards the other Vulpix, stopping a polite distance away to allow her to come to him; if he were in her position he would be intimidated by the large group of strangers but... well that didn't seem to be a problem for her.

The gold Vulpix padded up to Swift and sniffed him curiously. After a moment of deliberation she made a satisfied noise and started to groom him, inviting him to do the same for her.

"Err," Taavi laughed, "well I think we have somebody along for the trip then!" In a little while he might ask Sky to ask her some questions but it seemed rude to butt in right away when she was greeting another of her own kind.

"Probably should let Glit out to get some sun," Sasha mused and sat down a bit away on a rock, watching Taavi take pictures of the rather sunny looking Vulpix. They opened up the pokeball, releasing the serperior who gave a pleased noise and stretched out, flicking a white bleached branch away with her tail.

"And always open to more traveling partners," Sasha smiled at Taavi.

[Kat Bel - The forest / - totally no bugs , not keeping the caterpie]


Heck no, no bugs! Caterpie were not as scary as spinaraks or the other bugs but they were still creepy. She made a face at the bug and sighed, noticing she had splattered the berries to tempt the chatot all over her palm.

"Great," Kat sighed and brushed them off. Sticky hands and feet and she hadn't manage to make friends with the Chatot.

"Chatt, chattt."

Kat looked up. "Ooh, you are still here?" She said, pleased. "Come with me? "

[Lexxie, not keeping the scraggy, Coastal Ridge-----Hot Springs]

Lexxie stopped half way as he spoke to her. "Yes. She is very beautiful, a lovely coat." She watched as the trainer pet his absol affectionately. "I've seen, studied, a lot of absols and never seen anything like her. You guys...seem to suit each other."

She continued to watch them that she didn't even seem to notice the scraggy that had come and gone.

A moment passed, as she realized that she was staring again and became flustered. "I'm sorry. I must seem rude. You take care now. Nice meeting you."

Lexxie turned to leave and then to Makoto she said, "Let's check out the hot springs. I bet you'll love that huh?" Makoto let out a happy cry. //HECK YEAH! LET'S GO!!!//

Michiko smiled and laughed though a bit embarrassed. "Oh..ah ha. Sorry. I'm not very good at humor. But no, I can learn now. I don't mind if I dont get to do all the stuff I wanted to do today. I rather learn so I can learn how to be a better water type specialist."

She turned towards the Captain. "Any good fishing spots?"

With a bit more coaxing and some berries, Kat had managed to get the chatot down from the branch and on her arm. "Hey, pretty." She cooed, looking at the brightly colored small parrot on her arm.

She caught a glimpse of a bright blue bird and turned her head back to bonding with the small parrot like pokemon she had got to land on her arm.

Oliver managed to keep from snerking in amusement at the answer. Wise old man answer if he ever heard it. "My interests are a bit varied but, bug, grass, and poison types." He admitted. "Half in pure curiosity of what an isolated island would have and maybe getting a few good pictures."

Michiko and Oliver - The Boat

"Good water all 'round ya. Could drop a line right here an' catch ya summat." Whittard mumbled around his pipe at Michiko's question, languidly reaching up to scratch the beard under his chin.
"Volcanic island wi' a tropical forest, lad. 'S fertile. Tha' mess too." The old man nodded toward the tourist settlement, with it's shop and facilities.
"Ain't so isolated as y' think. Things get 'ere. Things stay 'ere."

"Ooh, yeah, good idea," Taavi nodded and then smiled as the serpent appeared. "Hey Glit! Good sunshine hu?"

The Vulpix seemed to be done posing for now so Taavi put his phone away and sauntered over to Sasha with his thumbs hooked into his pockets and a grin curving his lips. "We were right, the view is gorgeous," he said, pointedly looking at Sasha rather than the scenery before leaning down for a kiss.

[Abel, hot springs; not keeping Budew]

Elizabeth's path could be easily traced, even if she herself wasn't visible; in her wake bushes rustled, flimsy twigs snapped, and the winding path of disturbed foliage ended as the fire-type darted out behind them, chasing not the Oddish from before but a hapless Budew that waddled across the path as fast as its tiny legs could carry it. As it vanished into the bushes on the other side and Elizabeth hastened to chase after it, Abel reached out and placed his hand over the snout of his wayward Charmeleon before she got too far. "Alright you, that's enough of that," he said, his tone firm but his expression one of quiet amusement at his fire-type's antics, "leave the poor thing alone, will you?"

While she visibly deflated at the realization she had to stop playing tag, she nonetheless rumbled an agreement. With that settled, the blond dropped his hand back to his side and continued walking, loosing a soft 'heh' at Zevran's words. "Next time we can forgo logic, yeah? And that's good. Some of them take longer to hatch than others. I've had some experience, yeah," he affirmed with a brief nod of his head, "from living on my parents' ranch. I got to help with a few eggs here and there but not very often. Usually that was my sister's and my mom's job. My brother and I usually helped our dad with other stuff around the ranch."

As they walked along and talked, the scenery faded from lush and verdant to a smooth rocky path that sloped upward. Once at the top, the plateau's multiple pools of warm, steamy water spread out before them. Abel paused for a moment to look around, his gaze sweeping from one side of the plateau to the other end, while Caleb and Elizabeth immediately trotted forward to begin investigating some old lava tubes nearby.
