Watching as Syl flew up to the branch, Kayl couldn't help but feel a deep chill in his senses, something was more then just off. As Gannon called out for Syl to back away so that Brageet could help the stuck Fae, Kayl found himself looking around once more. Looking at some of the larger odd shaped trees and bushes as well as a large boulder just a short distance away, Kayl felt his heart skip a beat as a heavy wave of nostalgia filled his senses. Kayl couldn't understand it, he could feel a wide range of emotions filling him, from happiness to loneliness, uplifted spirits to a deep overwhelming fear. It was as if he had been here before, which baffled him even more as Kayl had never come to the island before attending the Academy. There was no time to reflect on this however, there was a far more pressing issue at hand. As Brageet lowered the Fae into Gannon's hands, Kayl quickly stepped over as well to look over the small fae. perhaps the little guy would be able to tell them what had happened here.

As soon as Kayl looked upon his face however, he knew that it wasn't going to happen. The Fae's mouth was permanently gaped open, in utter shock and surprise much to their horror. His arms were outstretched, hands and fingers slightly curved as if he had been leaning or pressing against something round, such as a branch. His legs were slightly bent as well but like the rest of his body, were completely unmoving. Even his clothes were stiff and frozen in place. If one didn't know better they would think he was a little statue, as he could pass for a toy figurine or carving. Looking over the small Fae, Kayl couldn't help but wonder what could have done this. Some form of strange magic? Perhaps even someone's raiment? One thing was clear, he couldn't stay like this, there must have been something they could do.

"Argos... What's wrong with him?" Sylrenya said as she landed on Gannon's wrist, leaning down and placing a hand on Argos' arm, trying to console him. "We can help him, right?" She said as she fought the tears from her eyes. She wiped her face as she took a deep breath and then brought both of her hands to Argos' outstretched hand. A soft glow of light started to fill her hands, and then it slowly flowed into the Fae, covering him in light for a moment before fading into his body. Some small cuts and bruises started to heal, but the Fae was still unable to move. Kayl's eyes narrowed as he watched Syl use her magic to try and help Argos. Again he felt a pang of nostalgia, but this time with an overwhelming sense of sadness. Kayl shook his head slightly as he felt his eyes start to well up. 'This again?' He thought to himself as he quickly brought his hand up to wipe his eyes. He had felt this one time before the very first time he had met Sylrenya in the library. For reasons he could not understand, he felt a deep well of sorrow, and from that sorrow came overflowing tears that he could not control. It was a strange meeting for sure, that had several other students and teachers, Gannon included, wondering what had happened. To this day Kayl still didn't know, and now he was feeling it again.

"I-its not... working... " Syl let out with a gasping weep as she tried to use her magic again. Shaking his head and catching his breath, Kayl quickly composed himself and then looked to Gannon. "Surely someone back at the Academy could help him?" He said aloud, thinking it was probably best for them to return as quickly as possible. Sylrenya looked up at Gannon then too, her eyes wide and pleading as if she was begging for him to save Argos. Seeing her face, Kayl wondered if his words may have inadvertently caused more harm then good. He didn't know whether or not there was someone that could aid them back at the school. He didn't know if the Fae would even make it back to the Academy in time but he did know this, they had to try. For Argos' sake... and Sylrenya...

This wasn’t what Gannon had expected to run into when he’d agreed to bring Silme home. If he had had any indication that they’d Be walking into what had to be a decimated village, he would have used far more caution to bring Silme here. But there was no going back and one of her kin needed their help. As Silme worked to heal her friend, Gannon spoke with Brageet.

<<’Have you ever heard of anything like this happening in the forest before?’>> Brageet saw and heard far more around the woods than he did. If anyone knew of strange going ons in the forest it would be her.

<<’Never. This is unlike anything I’ve ever encountered before. But Gannon…that will have to wait. The fae’s heartbeat is weak and will likely only get fainter. Silme’s healing is helping, but he’s fading fast. We need to get him to Merek and Vivian for treatment.’>> She was right. But it was already the middle of the day. Even if he and Kayl rode hell for leather, they wouldn’t arrive until the middle of the night, if they were lucky. If they were going to do this, the medical staff would need to know they were coming.

“Kayl, do me a favor, hold Argos and Silme for a moment. Silme, I want you to stay by his side. Your presence will help calm him…” Gannon said reassuringly as he gently handed Argos over to Kayl and watched as Silme fluttered over to Kayl’s wrist.

Quick as he could, Gannon pulled out a small piece of parchment and scratched a note to Merek stating the situation and asking that he and Vivian be ready to treat a unique patient and to speak to Elijah about Silme and her nature. Gannon knew the note was cryptic, but Elijah would know what he meant. Merek hadn’t encountered the fae as far as Gannon knew, so he didn’t want to confuse the poor man. Rolling up the paper, he looked to Brageet.

“Brageet, take this note back to the Academy. Be sure to give it directly to Merek. Be safe but go as fast as you can. We will be right behind you.” Gannon said as he handed her the note and caressed her feathers lovingly.

<<’I’ll see you soon, love. Be safe.’> That being said, Brageet launched from her perch and took to the skies with a cry. Gannon knew she wouldn’t fail him. Looking to Kayl, he nodded.

“Alright, we need to get back to the Academy as quickly as we can. Merek and Vivian are the best chance we have at helping Argos.” That being said, Gannon and Kayl figured out a way to securely and comfortably carry Argos. Silme was to stay at his side and heal him as needed. Gannon suspected the little fae was fading fast and there was no telling how much time he had left…

Once everyone was ready, Gannon urged his horse from the greyed clearing and Silme’s village. Leading the way, he followed their path from the way they’d come, urging his horse forward at a steady gallop. With their mind links still in place, Gannon spoke to Kayl and Silme as needed. He offered Silme reassurance and encouragement, telling her that he would do all in his power to help Argos. To Kayl, the two discussed the journey ahead. Even as the sky began to darken, Gannon urged them on, only stopping to water the horses when the mounts demanded it, but even then, they continued at their break neck pace, a sense of urgency following on their heels as they raced back toward the Academy.

Taking Argos into his hands, Kayl watched as Gannon scribbling some instructions on a small piece of parchment. Understanding quickly what Gannon was about to do, Kayl quickly set out to his horse and placed Argos down at the base of Elynai's neck for just a moment. "Hold him steady for just a moment," Kayl said as he held Argos until Sylrenya was able to gently take hold of him. Kayl then pulled himself up into the saddle of his horse, being careful of the space where Argos and Syl were sitting until he was settled upon his horse. He picked Argos back up and carefully placed him into the cup of his arm before looking up and getting ready to take off as soon as they were ready. After Gannon gave his orders to Brageet, Gannon led the way back through the forest, back the way they came riding as fast as they could.

<<'Although I certainly hope we can help Argos, I can't help but think about what happens if Argos is unable to hold on until we return to the academy'>> Kayl thought as he spoke through the mind link with Gannon once more, wanting what he has to say to remain private and between them so that he didn't worry Sylrenya, who was doing her best to keep Argos alive. <<'Thus, I wonder if there is anything we could do to get answers, not just about what the hell happened for our own knowledge and curiosity, but for Sylrenya's sake, I'm sure she will blame herself for not being there, even if there was a possibility that there would be nothing that she could have done'>> Kayl looked up at Gannon with narrow eyes as he followed him through the trees. They had been riding swiftly through the forest now, a life was now literally in their hands and they hadn't a moment to lose. As Kayl followed Gannon, he looked down at the Fae for a brief moment and then looked up at Gannon again with an idea.

<<'Lord Gannon, what if you did a mind link with Argos? He might be physically paralyzed, but perhaps you could speak with him?'>> Kayl asked in thought to Gannon once more. They had been so entrenched in trying to return to the academy to help the Fae, that possibly speaking with him hadn't crossed any of their minds until just now. If Gannon could speak with the Fae, perhaps he could find out what had happened back in the Fae village while also making attempts to calm and reassuring the Fae. Kayl looked down at Argos once more as Sylrenya continued to use her power to try and keep him alive. Kayl was worried, but of course this didn't mean that Kayl wasn't eager to try and help the Fae if he could, he had full hopes that they would arrive in time, and that someone at the academy would be able to help Argos.

Gannon was so focused on getting them through the forest and back toward the main trails that would make the journey easier, that he hadn’t thought to create a mind link with Argos to determine what had happened back at the village. It was so simple – even if the fae was paralyzed, that didn’t mean that his mind was lost.

<<’Kayl, you are a genius! I hadn’t thought of that.’>> Anything that they could get from the little fae would help to solve the mystery of what had happened. Stretching his senses, Gannon reached for Argos.

Given the fae’s flickering power, it was harder to connect with his mind than it had been with Kayl and Silme, but after a few attempts, Gannon was about to connect with Argos. The moment Gannon’s mind bonded with Argos’, he knew that something was profoundly wrong. Not only was Argos in a state of shock and panic, his emotions were so turbulent that it was like being smashed with a series of waves from all sides. Gathering his strength, Gannon urged his mount forward, knowing that his horse, his dear friend, would know what to do without being told so that Gannon could concentrate on Argos.

<<’Argos, my name is Gannon. I am a friend of Silme’s. We’re here to help you.’>>

    <<’!!!!’>>

At first that was all of the reaction he could get. No words, just surprised reactions, confusion and fear. No words were spoken from Argos’ side, but Gannon was determined. Argos was still in there, he just needed coaxing.

<<’Argos, please, what can you tell us about what happened? Who attacked you? Where is everyone?’>> Something Gannon said must have triggered the response – whether it was the word ‘attack’ or the question regarding his kin, the next thing Gannon knew, Argos was panicking.

<<’He came….MONSTER….stole them! STOLE THEM!!! MONSTER!! MONSTER! MONSTER! MONSTER!!!’>> After that, Argos just seemed to repeat the same thing over and over – a man had come to the village and taken ‘them’. Gannon could only assume that ‘they’ were the other fae. Had the man been a sort of poacher? It was unclear, but whatever he’d done had been enough to traumatize the poor fae to the point of near death.

<<’Kayl, I wasn’t able to get much out of him, but we need to do all we can to find out what happened – the other fae may have been captured.’>>

Turning his attention back to the ride, Gannon spoke with his horse, guiding him through the trees. As the sun began to set and night began to set in, Gannon and Kayl thankfully arrived at a more well-worn path. With the moon shining over head and a mostly clear sky, they had to slow their pace a bit in order to follow the path safely. Gannon hoped with all his heart that they arrived just after midnight and that Merek, Vivian and Elijah were ready for the most unique patient they’d ever had to treat…

<<'Captured!?'>> Kayl thought as his eyes instinctually looked to Argos and Sylrenya. For a brief moment, he wondered just what kind of horror’s must Argos have seen. <<'Captured? How?'>> He asked mostly to himself, but was still speaking within the mind link. It was a valid question, how exactly does one catch even a single Fae? Never mind a whole community of them. How do you catch something that quick? Something that hidden? Something that small? Fae weren’t exactly the easiest things in the world, even as someone who found that he could actually see through their invisibility, Kayl doubted he could catch a Fae if he tried, and he knew he could be incredibly swift. The more he thought about it the more he wondered how serious this was. Not only that, but Gannon too was now just as endeavored to finding out what happened, almost as much as trying to save Argos’ life. What in the world did Argos say? what in the world did Gannon hear?

Thinking about everything that had happened thus far, Kayl started to think about how they could find out how this all happened. <<'Perhaps if we returned to the village, we could find some clues, maybe some tracks?'>> Kayl stared to think within the mind link, not realizing that he was still sharing his thoughts with Gannon. <<' What about Argos, perhaps he saw something else during the attack, something that could clue them in?'>> He thought again within the link, as his thoughts wandered, it was as if he was speaking aloud to himself, not realizing that he was still speaking with Gannon. <<'But we won’t be able to get anything out of him as long as he remains panicked, so anything we could get out of him would only be after we calmed him down, which meant, only after saving his life…'>> Kayl’s thinking started to trail in a different direction now, <<' But… that’s a dangerous gamble, what if we can’t save him? What if he doesn’t make it? What if… No, stop thinking so negatively Kayl, we can save him, we MUST save him. There has to be another way… wait…'>>

Suddenly Kayl looked up at Gannon with a somewhat hopeful face. <<'That’s it! Of course! Lord Gannon, we need Lelyna!'>> Kayl thought within the link as his eyes narrowed slightly, emphasizing his thoughts. <<'Lelyna could retrieve the literal memories of the attack, and tell us everything that happened, not only that, but she could replay the memory, over and over again, which means she can scan every sight, hear every sound, with Lelyna we can analyze all of it, and not only find out who did this, but maybe find out where they went!'>> Kayl said as he looked to Argos and Sylrenya once more. Of course, Kayl was very concerned about Argos, but if other Fae had been captured, then they needed to do something to save them, and this was their best chance and they needed Lelyna’s help to do it.

[ - Begin Interaction for New RP Day - ]

Kayl’s concern was understandable and shared – Gannon didn’t like the idea of Silme’s people being in the hands of a poacher, or someone that would clearly hurt them for some unknown reason. But at the moment, helping Argos was their top priority. If he and Kayl needed to return to the fae village again to look for clues, then they would – and they’d bring anyone who might be able to help, with them. But right now, they had a more pressing issue.

<<’I don’t know, but Argos said that ‘He stole them’. The only way I can interpret that is that the fae were taken somewhere.’>> Gannon’s words didn’t seem to register with Kayl as he began to think to himself, his thoughts traveling between the mind link they shared. Gannon didn’t have the heart to stop Kayl or to interrupt him to tell him that he was sharing his inner-most thoughts. If anything, this was almost like thinking out loud and maybe it would help.

Leading them by the light of the moon, Gannon kept a sharp eye on their surroundings. What he wouldn’t give to have Brageet with him, her sharp eyes saw everything. But they were on their own and all they could do was press on as quickly as they could.

Eventually, Kayl’s ‘thinking out loud’ led him to a conclusion that hadn’t yet crossed Gannon’s mind. They had one student who could help them, one student who could use her power to give them the answers they so desperately sought. Lelyna. With her raiment, she could pull the memories from Argos and share them with others. She could bare witness to all that Argos saw and tell them exactly who was responsible for the attack and what had happened to the other fae.

There was only one problem – Lelyna was due to sail home on the first ship out of the Eoana Harbor, at dawn. <<’Dammit! If we want Lelyna’s help, we need to get back before dawn – she’s sailing home for the rest of the break at first light with Mikhail and their families.’>> Gannon was only privy to that information because she was in the Graduate program and had feared that she might not be back before the beginning of the new school year.

<<’But you’re right Kayl, Lelyna is the only one who can actually show us what happened! Once we get out of the forest, we’ll need to split up. I’ll take Silme and Argos to the Academy Infirmary for treatment while you go to find Lelyna.’>>

It was another two tense hours before they broke through the forest’s tree line. The city could be seen off in the distance, the harbor off to the side and farther still, the Academy. Halting their mounts for a few brief moments, Gannon reached out to Kayl. “Silme, you and Argos are coming with me. Kayl needs to find Lelyna. He’ll meet us at the Academy soon.” He said in as reassuring a tone as he could as Kayl gently passed Argos to him, Silme flitting over to stay with her friend.

“The Warsong Summer Home, Kayl. As fast as you can, time is of the essence.” The moment he knew that Silme and Argos were safely cradled in the crook of his arm, Gannon urged his mount forward down the path toward the city. With the late/early hour, the streets were completely empty. The clacking of his horse’s hooves upon the street rang out as louds as a bell as Gannon raced toward the Academy. He only prayed that Argos hung on and that Kayl could get Lelyna to the Academy fast.

They had ridden for for several hours before reaching the edge of the tree line, and Gannon's orders replayed in his head. He was to quickly find Lelyna, and bring her to the infirmary. Kayl nodded when Gannon told him where he could find Lelyna. "We'll be there soon, I'll retrieve her as quick as I can..."Careful, but quickly, Kayl passed Argos over to Gannon, and Sylrenya fluttered from Kayl's arm to Gannons. She quickly put her hands back on Argos's arm and forehead, and pushed forth some energy to try and stabilize him once more. As Gannon turned off to head back towards the academy, Kayl continued on ahead and rode full stride to the city, to the housing district, to the home of the Warsongs.

Thanya stood on the edge of the forest, her ears pressed down. She was disappointed with herself. She knew she was not supposed to go into the forest; the headmaster himself had told them on the very first day of school. People in town had even warned her about townsfolk disappearing in there, yet the animal inside her could not resist it any longer.

Q'ara's mental image of being back amongst the trees had pushed her over the edge. She needed to smell the decaying foliage of the forest floor as she ran along it. She needed to feel the bark between her toes as she climbed the highest tree. She needed to find herself high in the canopy, plucking the juiciest, freshest fruit from the branches. That latter point she craved most of all. She missed nothing more than the taste of fresh picked fruit. Clutched tightly to her chest was a book she had read many times. Several of the pages had tabs on them. It was a book about foraging on the island and she hoped to find some of the delectable items detailed inside.

This wasn't the first time she had come this far. Last free day she had come to the edge of the forest and sat there all day reading her books, yet she could not work up the willpower to break the rules to go inside. Her tribe had taught her to honor the law as that is what set them apart from animals and for a moment it seemed like her logical side would once again prevail.

With a sigh, Thanya turned and began to head back towards town but then her nose caught a smell of something she had never smelt before. She turned around and traced it back to the forest. The smell was sweet and delectable in odor; she knew it had to be some kind of fruit or flower she had never tried before! It couldn't be too far in the forest if she could smell it here! So, with her stomach finally defeating her brain, Thanya obeyed her animal instinct and walked into the forest, following the enchantingly sweet smell to its source.

    [ - Enter Eoana Forest - ]

Upon arriving at the Academy, Gin ran straight for the girl’s dormitories. He didn’t know exactly which room was hers, but he didn’t have to – there would be one room where her scent was the most prominent and sure enough, he found her room with ease. Transforming back into his human form, he pounded on the door. As he waited, he caught his breath, his chest heaving as he tried to calm his racing heart. After a few minutes of no one answering, he knew that he was too late – Thanya had already left for the day. Cursing his luck and his timing, Gin transformed back into his wolf form and concentrated on picking up her scent.

It didn’t take him long to follow his nose toward the main buildings of the Academy, much to his relief. He quickly ran for the library, but upon entering, he found that while she had been there recently, she’d already left. Cursing his luck, yet again, he went back on the hunt, literally.

The farther away he walked from the main buildings and the closer he came toward the line of the forest, the more his stomach flip flopped with worry. He came to an area where Thanya had lingered, where she might have even sat and read for a while, but then as he drew in a deep breath and sniffed at the ground, he caught sight of her tracks; tracks that led into the forest. Growling low, Gin shot into the trees as quickly as he possibly could. He needed to find her before she found that apple tree!

~ Rin entered Eoana Forest ~

She persisted on following from a distance, from Gia's, to the Academy... And now... T-the Forest..? The canine's heart sank as she watched Gin rush into the one place that was considered forbidden. Why? What was so important that her own brother is ignoring such an important rule?? Rin was aware many people went missing in there... And that might be an answer to her own question. Did he see somebody he knew entering? One of his visions? Rin shook her head and focused on the chase, managing her distance so he wouldn't pick up that she was close by.

Dummy... She was growing more and more worried by the second as she rushed into the forest without a second thought. Her mind went back to the times back at the Enzo home, all the times her brother was there when she needed him. It was like her mind was telling her to keep those memories close, that if she hesitated at any point it might be the last time Rin saw... No! It wont happen! Rin shook herself again of these thoughts and continued running, adjusting her movement through the trees so that she was ready to take cover should her brother ever look back, no doubt in the state he's in he would be far more furious if he found out his little sister was just behind him.

[ - Begin Interaction for the RP Day - ]

Gannon had been enjoying a nice day at home when he’d been alerted to a disturbance in the woods. Ever since the citizens had begun to go missing, and especially after Otsanda’s death, Gannon had requested that the animals of the forest alert him of any suspicious activity that they thought he should be aware of. Most of the time, they reported people wandering in on a dare or to scavenge for berries and acorns. Others blatantly entered the woods to hunt, which was to be expected. But when several birds, deer and smaller critters came chattering at his door and windows, he knew that it wasn’t a stray hunter that had entered Eoana Forest…

No, it wasn’t a random citizen, but several students – three to be exact. Thanya, Gin and Catherine, all shifters, two of which were new to the Academy and one of which knew better than to disobey the order to stay away from the forest. However, it seemed that while Thanya had gone into the woods in search of something, Gin had gone charging in like a crazed animal sometime shortly after. Rin, obviously concerned for her bother, had followed. It was unusual behavior to say the least…

Gannon was well aware of Gin’s visions – he’d been one of the Professors recruited to help him begin the process of controlling them last year. If Gin went racing into the woods after Thanya, it was safe to assume that he’d done so with good reason. If he happened to have had a vision of her going missing? Or meeting up with whomever had been killing citizens and students? Then it was entirely possible that Gin had gone after her to save her.

With this realization, Gannon knew that he needed to act fast. Brageet, having been alerted to the commotion, was awake and eager to help.

<< ‘I’ll fly ahead and alert you when I find them. They can’t have gone far…’>> Brageet said as reassuringly as she could as she took to the skies and began to fly ahead of him.

Following the guidance of the animals that had come to him, Gannon ran through the trees. Each of the animals was chattering away, talking about how reckless Gin was being, how the students should know better, etc. All Gannon cared about was finding the wayward students before something horrible happened…Hopefully, this was all just a misunderstanding…

Thanya wandered deeper and deeper and deeper into the forest, her nose guiding the way. It occurred to her she had traveled well beyond the point where she would have expected to encounter the source of this tantalizing smell, but the smell was just so tempting and she could tell she was getting close. It was almost as if she was in a trance. She weaved over logs and under bushes and squeezed through the underbrush, shifting when necessary, each step bringing her closer to her goal.

After what seemed like an eternity, Thanya finally reached her destination. Before her stood an enormous tree, covered with brightly colored, luscious looking fruit. Thanya opened her eyes wide in amazement as a little drool escaped the side of her mouth. Thanya quickly referenced her book. They were indeed some kind of apple, but they were larger and more vibrantly colored than anything illustrated in the pages. With a shrug, Thanya passed the book to her prehensile tail and began to climb the tree.

Once she was safely within the branches she picked one of the apples and carefully examined it. Apples did not grow in her home jungle so the only ones she had seen were at the academy dining hall and the market. These ones looked far more delectable than those. Thanya took a big bite and the flavor was every bit as good as she had imagined. In a state of bliss, she quickly devoured the rest of the apple, pausing only momentarily to savor a bite every now and again. Thanya continued on her feeding crusade until a pile of apple cores lay on the ground at the base of the tree.

‘Where the hell are you, Thanya!?’ Gin growled low, his chest heaving as he stopped for a moment to catch his breath and to check for Thanya’s scent. She’d been all over the place, going over felled trees, moving through shrubs and bushing, moving under extremely low hanging branches. It was like an obstacle course and he couldn’t see any rhyme or reason to the path she’d taken.

Sniffing the air and the ground around him, Gin was too focused on following her scent to notice Rin following him at a fair distance. If he had seen her he would have ordered her away and back home, where it was safe. But no, he was too focused on preventing his vision from coming true…Catching Thanya’s scent again, he immediately took off in her direction.

Along with her scent he’d detected the faint smell of fresh apples and he felt his stomach begin to do flips. If she found that tree and that item…! ‘Dammit Thanya! Don’t you dare do it!’ If they got out of this alive he was going to make the bearcat wish she’d never left Mistun!

In the depth of the forest, as a cool breeze blew across the trees, the young shifter pulled and ate the delicious fruit of the large tree with glee. As she continued to feast, the very air around her started to ease and thin as utter silence suddenly overtook the area. The chirping of birds, insects and even the rustle of leaves came to a halting stop as an eerie energy started to fill the area lightly. In the silence, a sudden quiet and soft murmur of a whisper echoed out for just a moment, coming from the tree in which the shifter was sitting upon. Deep within tangled vines and brush that had overgrown over the tree's trunk, high in the tree's branches sat a strange item embedded almost entirely into the tree's bark, as if the tree had grown around it. With only a small part of the item visible outside of the tree's bark, only that small part could be seen, and anyone who got closer to it would note a soft bluish glow intermittently flash periodically. Again another murmured almost whispered like sound would pass through the area, and yet another soft pulse of bluish light. Yet still, the area around the tree remained completely silent.

    -Enter Sokea into Eoana Forest-

A cold nervous sweat developed through Sokea as he ran through the forest. Every instinct and nerve in Sokea's body told him that something was terribly wrong. What caused Gin to be in such a panic to delve into the forest that is strictly prohibited of entry? There was more than just determination in the way Gin was running when Sokea saw through his eyes. It was desperation. Sokea didn't want to focus on the negativity of the situation, but he had to be prepared for what's about to come. His priority right now was getting to Gin. Traversing areas such as the forest while blind wasn't a difficult task for him wasn't too difficult as it used to be for him. The roots of the trees he felt beneath his feet gave him the general idea where they were located. His left arm was stiffened in front of him in case he was about to run into something; feeling for trees in front of him so he could avoid them.

He felt for Gin's link again, and as luck would have it, he was in range. He slowed down a bit to connect, then picked up his speed immensely once his eyesight was restored. Vision can be overstimulating for the pale boy at times, but there was too much adrenaline running through his body to care. Being able to navigate through the forest allowed him to be able to get to Gin faster, and towards whatever he was trying to go to. There was fear spreading through his heart; there was confusion, and frustration as well. Things started to finally lighten up the day prior, and now it felt like it was slipping away from him again. He won't let it slip away from him again.

He peered through Gin's eyes for a moment; he was still running. If only he could read what was going on through his mind. Where was he going? What's his destination? The only logical conclusion that Sokea could come up with was that he saw something in a vision, something in the forest. Something that had to be stopped, or dealt with. Was it someone being hurt? What would warrant this frantic behavior? Sokea didn't want to find out, but he had to. Whatever caused Gin such panic, he was determined to be there to back him up. Sokea thought to flash blind Gin's eyes for a moment to let him know he was coming; but given his current state, he shouldn't even consider obscuring his vision. All he could do for now is keep running towards him.
