"Hmm, there's got to be a way to make the ghosts come out. We're in the perfect place for something spooky to happen!" Scorpa frowned as she poked around the ballblock. This was how it always happened in movies, after all. The yellowblood took a few more steps around the ballblock, clucking her tongue in thought as she circled around.
"It's too quiet for a ballblock. Maybe if we get some music going." It wasn't a very scientific approach to it, but Scorpa figured it'd be better to just try thing rather than disqualify ideas. She glanced to Flydra questioningly to see if she agreed.
"Wouldn't that be romantic? To dance with ghosts!" Scorpa laughed. It would certainly make a great story. Perhaps they could come back here sometime for a SHEshell special made for tv movie! Scorpa wasn't above stooping to such levels. Provided the place didn't collapse first.
"We might even-ah!" Scorpa yelped as she slipped on a stray plastic bag that had somehow gotten in here. Catching herself, the yellowblood snatched it up and regained her balance with a pout.

"Yes. Very good," Reisio mumbled in agreement. They tugged along their twin, following the older blueblood to the other side of the room.
"What did you find there?"
They peered over at Garand's find - a chunk of the drapery that had fallen. It also appeared that a plastic bag had joined the party.
"We can put the garbage in the other garbage," Reisio suggested.

"ACK!" Fortunately, Reisio's boots were practically armor. Only a small, painful pressure breached the threshold of their shoes. "Ow, ow..." Tears sprung to their eyes and they clapped their hands around Oisier's.

The group followed Garden's request to move away from the pillar and Flydra nodded along as her moirail talked about music and ghosts. Her mind was still focused on trying to cook up a way to capture a ghost for later study. The point of the mission was to understand why ghosts were manifesting strongly and terrorizing the place but to the scientist, the mission was to get her hands on a research subject. It might help her better understand the daywalkers to compare the dead body with the undead spirits.
On instinct, she reached to catch Scorpa's elbow as the yellowblood wobbled on a plastic bag. The two had spent enough time around each other to be in tune with the reflexes and slips of their quadmate.
"That's an excellent idea-" She responded to Reisio but was cut short as the poor child stepped on a painful needle. Flydra frowned and reached to put a hand on the shoulders of the twins, squatting down to speak to them.
"Should you feel any pain, let me know right away. I am a medical professional. I will not let you hurt for long." This was the whole reason she had become a doctor, to help her fellow citizens. While she lacked the extensive equipment back home in her clinic, she had plenty of medical supplies in her bag to handle first aid and the typical injuries sure to accompany exploring a decaying building. Stuff like broken bones, cuts and scrapes, puncture wounds from debris.
She was less equipped to handle possessions, supernatural hauntings and such but hopefully that wouldn't come up, you know?

Investigating the BALLBLOCK Team: Reisio, Scorpa, Flydra, Garand, Austri Obstacles: 0/8 Hazards: 0/3 Items:
Lonely Plastic Bag Moldy Curtain Piece Bloodstained Flask
Scorpa, Flydra, Austri, and Garand. Oisier mentally logged what information they could as they silently maneuvered their way throughout the hive. It was awful hard to take notes when there were so many hazards scattered about. They supposed it only added to the intrigue of the endeavor, but they hadn't expected so many of the dangers to come from their own teammates.
Oisier instinctively gripped Reisio's hand at their yelp. They glared scathingly at Flydra despite her attempts to sooth Reisio. "We are capable in our own right, Miss Dromen," they replied with the barest emphasis on the "Miss".
Once they were certain Reisio was not in extended pain, Oisier turned their attention to the room. They were now twice as alert for sharp slivers and twisted rocks. Instead they found a dull metallic glimmer, mostly obscured by stains.
Carefully, Oisier retrieved the object, only to nearly drop it as they recognized what they were holding. "Eugh! Filthy!" They juggled the flask between pinched fingers. They gingerly upended the flask at arm's length. Better to find out what was in it now before they accidentally spilled it all over themselves.
To their continued disgust, the contents were perhaps worse than rancid hobo liquor. Clotted, orangish blood drizzled onto the rubble at Oisier's feet. They looked slightly ill at the sight, if not the smell. "Wha- What was this being used for..."

Austri had been quiet, surprisingly, pensive and less angry, wanting to make a good impression on all the bluebloods in their group no matter how young they were. They were adorable too, a little creepy but that didn't stop her from wanting to get closer to them. The older blueblood looked way too familiar, and the greenblood was constantly squinting at him, struggling to remember. Where...? As they kept walking and the others kept talking, Austri couldn't help but gasp the minute she heard his name. Her eyes blew wide open. "Aaah!" She exclaimed, pointing at him and smiling brightly. "Garand!! I knew I recognized you from somewhere!! Oh my gog~!!" She was doubly excited to be with them now, but-- Did he know Scorpa and Flydra?! What a coincidence. She definitely wanted to impress the higherblooded trolls now! "How have you been~?! I'm so sorry I hadn't followed up with you after the whole spacestuff...~ A lot has happened since then, hehe~" She tried not to think about it.
She was growing more and more concerned the further they traveled, attempting to show concern for the children but glancing a little too much in Garand's direction. Gog, he'd grown up well hadn't he? Her lips tugged into a smile when suddenly, one of the twins shrieked from pain and Flydra rushed to their side, while the next found a strange flask filled with... "Oh, eew," Austri wrinkled her nose at the substance dripping from it-- Was that--? "Ugh, Flydra, is that blood? Was someone literally drinking blood back before~?? Yuck." She distinctly remembered one of the ghosts being a rainbowdrinker enthusiast. Austri pursed her lips. She sincerely hoped they hadn't been doing what she thought they were...
Lost in her thoughts, the greenblood had not realized where she was stepping until she felt the pain slice through her foot. Austri yelped, hissing in pain and wrinkling her nose at the needle in her shoe. It'd gone deep enough that she felt it in her foot-- Well, the chance she'd get sick just jumped from 0% to a good 70%... "These needles are so frustrating...~!"
