                        ▰ SOCIAL AND PERSONALITY

                        Personality: Somewhere between bubbly and a bit timid, lacking some confidence in herself due to lacking the same physical abilities and bloodline of her mother. This isn’t to say she isn’t confident in what she can do, her innate ability to produce silk and fashion clothing of such degree it’s only limited by her imagination, though she doesn’t see this as anything but a minor inconvenience for others if used combatively and as such this doesn’t give her much confidence. She perceives herself as weak and delicate much like her species and is aware of very few advantages she can use to make herself effective or standout as a potential shinobi and puts effort into a group of her weak points to try and fix these flaws with futility. Added to that her fathers talents who can use some medical techniques was also not passed down to her, Etsuko finding it extremely difficult to use medical techniques even if she could absorb some of the knowledge.

                        Besides her attempts there she is not an unhappy person and doesn’t complain a lot about her insecurities or inabilities, instead being relatively normal for a girl of her age, enjoying a lot of stereotypical hobbies, like fashion, cute things, flowers and one of the more odd ones, sampling materials. She appreciates butterflies and moths considering her similarities but put more faith in the more popular sort and is totally unbothered by any creepy crawly besides a few predatory insects. She hasn’t got an totally Akimichi diet but does eat a lot for her size and it shows in her personality, she enjoys vegetables over meats and quality made fabrics and clothing is a favourite, other plants that people normally wouldn’t or couldn’t consume are fair game along with pollen. She is mostly friendly and occasionally a little haughty with people, portraying a mostly confident person if the scenario doesn’t involve fighting. She finds people who look intimidating, weird, scary or physically imposing to be precisely that and it is noticeable in body language and presentation, to the point of partially hiding behind people taller than herself. Most would describe her as friendly, energetic, a little outspoken and a bit timid and kinda quirky and a little clingy.

                        Biography: A generational student of the village and daughter of a moth type Kemono Shinzo and an Akimichi. Her mother whom is a village shinobi put expectations on her to continue family tradition, which has met barriers as she never developed the bloodline or even physique and her dad was never a fighter and she got her genes from him. This resulted in her being small, without much physical ability and with abilities her father couldn’t really teach her much beyond the basics which has left her a twice failing student with confidence issues. Etsuko’s family life is pretty normal besides her feeling inferior and unable to reach her parents standards, she hasn’t had to deal with anything terribly significant and has two older siblings(from her mothers previous marriage) that she gets along with decently well, then one older biological sibling and two cousins who were adopted by her father, one younger one older. She spends her days doing a combination of average things and training, though tends to focus on areas she is weak in and doesn’t see much progress as a result, not actually knowing where her talents lie.

                        She works at her dads tailoring business part time and the one thing that can be said is that she certainly did pick up and surpass that talent. She is able to create and replicate clothing she has seen and inspected in a very short period of time, though taking her time greatly improves the quality. She considers herself something of a fashionista and other people would agree, though people who like brand names quake at the thought of her eating or taking a bite out of them with little remorse, the only time she might not do this is with custom and personally made things.

                        Family: Etsuko has an extremely large family, her cousins on her fathers side numbering at over sixty, then a much more modest nine on her moths side, when including her five siblings.

                        Father: Commonly called Papa cause Etsuko is a daddies girl, his name is actually Gudaro Minekei and her is an insect or moth specifically mostly moth type Kemono, the two noticeable breeds are Funnel and great silk moth. He is a half decent healer, though all his medical knowledge has chakra or natural basis and doesn’t conform to standard practice. His real talents is as a tailor, a very skilled one who works with his own Silks, though comparably slower in able production with his daughter but a veteran at the craft leaving her working hard to even skim half his quality in skill. He is mild mannered and very thoughtful and understanding, finding it difficult to keep up with his fast paced, expectant and informal daughter. He isn’t particularly remorseful about her only inheriting his bloodline nor her inability to learn medical techniques, much to her chargin he doesn’t actually want her being in the danger of what being a shinobi entails and wishes his wife felt the same way, though won’t try and get in the way.

                        First Class:
                        ▱▰▱ Heritage Keystone You receive an additional 5 custom technique slots to be used only on bloodline and bloodline-related techniques. Additionally, you may create a "keystone" technique; this technique is essentially a Bloodline ninja's signature move, with power and versatility similar to a technique such as Kamui. This technique must be submitted as a custom jutsu and approved. It also does not take a custom jutsu slot. In addition, you are able to use your third action for any Bloodline Jutsu, whether it is offensive or defensive, once every two turns. This discipline may not be taken in conjunction with another Keystone Discipline. Refer to the Keystone Guideline for more information
                        Second Class:
                        ▱▰▱ Infinite perception Your specialty is more in sensory than in sealing or summoning. You are able to discover things such as demon chakra, or the type of technique that is about to be active (Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, etc.), even specifics such as Bloodline type and rank from any active sensory technique. This discipline allows the user to be able to sense their enemy’s ninjutsu attacks and their composition, which grants a -2 rank reduction to dodging with the dodge mechanic X-ranked skill so long as it was used within the range of the user’s sensory abilities. You can release yourself from genjutsu at one rank lower in kai chakra release but with no benefit in pain release. In addition, the user's sensory abilities are extended fifty feet per rank of the technique. As a master tracker, you can advance in the ninja hunter and special ops careers for half as many Oinin Butai and ANBU missions completed. Upon reaching Initiate in Oinin Butai, you gain the Eagle Eye perk innately so you can choose one other Oinin perk as well. When you use a sensory technique with jamming you can double the jamming effect, this ability applies to one technique per three posts.

                        Strengths:
                        • Good at making clothes and with wire/thread work in a comparable but different way than say, a puppeteer.
                        • She has really good senses both naturally and then with the ability to use sensory Jutsu, making her rather perceptive
                        • Has all the great abilities of a moth, which involves the fact she can create her own silk, something she considers a strength of hers
                        • Has decent ability to pick up on and defend herself from gen-Jutsu
                        • Is good at evasion and creating distance, especially from heavy hitter close combat types. The biggest advantage she has is the ability to fly without burning chakra or anything.
                        • Is a very good cook.
                        Weaknesses:
                        • Has little confidence in her own abilities and practices in areas she is incapable of excelling in
                        • Is physically weak and fragile, ineffective with offensive Tai-jutsu and gets jumpy and intimidated against close combat opponents.
                        • Is a little cowardly, as in feels fear more easily and prominently than others might in her position which can impede her abilities. This is partly fuelled by the belief she is delicate like a moth and her antenna are rather sensitive to pain, she also is rather reactive to pain. She’s also easily intimidated, especially if on her own.
                        • Lacks assertion in most things she isn’t good at or opinionated on, tends to fold to other peoples wants.
                        • Fire style is a weakness of hers and messing with light sources and such can mess up her flight coordination and bearings in general, though her sensory abilities can counteract this.

                        • Praying Mantis, especially giant ones are terrifying, some other hardcore predatory insects carry the same emotional incentive.
                        • Being abused for her race/because of it.
                        • having her insect parts mutilated or removed.

Moth/Silk Jutsu

SilkMoths Divine Weaving | Rank X | Bloodline [ depends ]| Cost [ Spiritual] | Keystone Technique
Etsuko’s signature skill is her ability to produce, manipulate and weave special silk threads from her body, that take on the properties of substances and techniques she consumes. This thread can be used to bind, create clothing and for multiple supplemental purposes like binding, creating barriers, setting perimeters, used to climb or break a fall and more. This silk is stronger than normal silk, able to be manipulated as an extension of the body and used for various purposes. The ability to spin stored types of chakra into threads isn’t actually her using nature she normally cannot and is only the ability to copy the traits into a special chakra silk material until her body completes digesting and runs out of base to replicate, never able to extend into abilities outside of her thread/silk techniques.
• If consuming fabric, techniques or armour then she may store the qualities and spin silk that emulates said traits or copies the properties of whatever is eaten into silk creations, granting made armour all the same benefits. This is done with consumed armour by casting techniques holding said qualities and in the case of armour/clothing eaten at specific a minimal rank, the cost starts at C for normal items, B for second tier, A for third tier items, S for legendary and S+ for endgame legendary item, doesn’t work on weapons larger than a projectile. This functions nearly identical when used with other thread techniques, except she must pay a ranked amount of chakra(min cost rank of tech or armour replicating) and her thread techniques benefit from those effects for the same one post per rank, costing no action to apply in this circumstance. Knowledge of traits as stored for four posts before “forgotten” and she may only keep two memorized for this time.
• traits she has consumed are basically replications of items consumed, save for ranked abilities granted by them(meaning elements and stats bonuses are gained). In the case of silk made from a Jutsu, any status effect inflicted or caused and elemental strength and weakness are replicated into its form and offensive aspects are applied on physical contact, basically turning said Jutsu into an armour but is treated as spiritual in these cases. This armour lasts up to one post per rank of chakra put into it.
• When used for attacking/binding/defensive technique she instead pays the ranked cost of the traits she replicates and then the thread techniques she use carry the same effects and trait, though status effects and such are lowered to match the rank of the technique.
• Any clothing or armour created suffers no weight penalties and have a durability rank equal to the rank paid and last 1 post per rank paid, this armour is treated as spiritual if made form a Jutsu’s qualities. Any hijacked properties can ONLY be used with thread techniques.
• the threads are naturally weak against fire release before being augmented and as such are treated one rank lower until carrying elemental properties, in which case is carries its weaknesses. Although she looses knowledge of how to make a silk, any technique active with an effect keeps it until that techniques timer wears out.
• Requires having used either Devouring or Fabric eating to make use of this Jutsu effects.
(if this comes off as too hardcore I’ll ask it be considered if it was then only if she could eat techniques and applied their traits to created silk instead. This technique required this much writing to be clear, I tried to keep it low.)

Nomming down on materials is basically a skill for her and her teeth and jaw is surprisingly strong, as such she can bite into and consume a lot of things, specifically clothing and armour. This treat armour as a rank lower than it is in collisions and will always do damage to the armour or weapon if they draw in a collision, removing a tier of durability and granting her a mouthful. This technique must be used to obtain fabric and material samples for weaving clothes. Does standard ranked trauma beyond these other effects as is an attack.

Can create weaves of clothing for allies out of silk she produces, this can either be of her normal silk, which is then weak against fire release like wind. This armour is medium rank and considered to be medium in tier armour unless she consumes legendary armour and uses its material base which offers the benefits of heavy armour due to the high quality materials. She can pay this technique cost up to three times for one activation to clothe up to that many allies. There’s a minus 2 to agility if it’s treated as heavy armour.



Flannel Moth’s deterrent | Rank B | Bloodline [ Element ]| Passive [ Spiritual
]

When an opponent makes contact with her bare skin by their own volition then they are given the gift of her bodies venomous hairs. This near instantly creates a rash that travels approximately a foot from the area of contact. This venom creates a grid like irritation and larger skin bumps, causing intense radiating pain that can be compared to breaking a limb or suffering another physical trauma or even white hot burning, followed by true swelling. Techniques used by this limb are reduced by one rank in effectiveness and looses stat bonuses when using it(half if using a two handed weapon), though this does work like an effective Pain release on the victim up to A-rank in value. This technique is passively paid and does NOT work in conjunction with her own offensive actions, only when she is struck or successfully blocks. This venom lasts 8 posts or until cured, doesn’t cost an activation to trigger but it’s cost must be paid.




Binding weave | Rank X | Bloodline [ Depends on threads qualities ]| Cost [ Complex ]
Using her threads she attempts to capture and restrict a person movements, costing her an activation to do so and requiring an opponent pay equal ranked cost to escape and inflicting them with any copied effects to a bound person. This technique binds a person with threads that quickly evolves into a full body weave, binding arms and legs like a straight jacket like construction, preventing an opponent from using hand signs or somatic gestures. whilst bound this technique may be recast on subsequent turns to increase the cost and number of activations required to escape up to 3 S+ value and as many activations.




Adhesive Weave | Rank X | bloodline [ none ]| Cost [ Complex ]
With this technique Etsuko can create sticky threads in a couple of ways, one being creating spiderweb like traps that are very thin and usually perfectly camouflaged in the environment. This allows her to deploy these webs commonly as a part of a body flicker or replacement technique, assuredly creating this trap between herself and her opponent at the cost of an additional action and this techniques cost when used with other Jutsu. Chakra sight makes these traps rather obvious and one can just roleplay around it. In most other cases if the opponent follows a path toward her that lacks significant deviation and they don’t figure a good reason to notice the threads they can consider themselves triggering said trap and will need to defend. Alternatively she may trigger it when near an opponent and guided toward them. Triggering this trap ensnares an opponents limbs and body with the incredibly sticky and strong threads, rooting them to it and disallowing any attached limbs to be used for any purpose, escaping this explicitly costs an offensive action and every post they are attached they are inflicting with an increasing tier of paralysis starting at T1 that persists for 1 post a rank this was cast at even after being freed from the threads.

Kid Gloves | B-rank | Bloodline [ depends ]| Cost [ Spiritual ]
Creates thick silk mittens upon the hands of an opponent, these gloves sheathe each finger before a second layer is created tightly sheathing over every finger simultaneously overtop like a mitten. This material is pulled so tight that it totally prevents intricate use of fingers, barring people from using the appendage for things like hand signs or the use of weapon techniques lower than its casting rank, cushioning the impact of their Tai Jutsu strikes by nullifying the strength stat down to zero. Costs an offensive action and stamina equal to ranked cost of this techniques casting to rip these off(1-rank reduction in cost if their unarmed is of an element the silk is weak against.), no damage is incurred unless the silk holds offensive properties, weak to fire without other properties and it inflicts any properties the strong have to the victims hands each round. Last two post a rank.

Forming multiple strands of strong silk weaved together Etsuko can attempt to latch it onto on an opponents limb, normally the leg so she can manipulate the thread and yank a person off their feet into the air and whip throw them through the air in a high speed throw. This results in a person being treated as falling 5 ft per rank in additional fall damage. If a person if caught by this technique the thread remains attached, requiring its rank and an offensive action be paid to remove it lest be subject to repeated attempts to throw them or use the thread attached to them to her advantage in other ways. This Jutsu is weak to fire release without special silk and can be used as a whip, last two posts per rank.

When an opponent is attached to her threads Via silk whip throw, Restricting, binding or other weaves that involve thread tying or attaching to people she may use this technique. By pulling on this thread she can impede a persons physical abilities, reducing a selected stat upon use by 2 until the opponents next post and negating the stats gained from a Tai/Buki technique up to its rank and halving the gains from techniques above its rank. This technique requires a technique be attached to an opponent to even be used, it simply needs to be paid to take place…. In trade for this being a sudden pull the effect it has on gaining stats only effects said action it is used on and can only be used against one attack per person attached per round.

Mighty Antennae | Rank B - S+ | Bloodline/Sensor [ N/A ]| Cost [ Spiritual ]
Etsuko has two massive antennae on the top of her head which have unique scent sensors on them so incredibly powerful and selective that she can separate and track scent trails that have even been concealed for most to any other being. She can essentially visualize the trails and traces of scent she picks up on due to being able to selectively focus on and filter and separately identify scents from one another with the billions of sensors in her antennae at an incredible pace. These floppy antennae are a point of pride for Etsuko.
• This allows her to locate people and track their scent so long as she is within 40 to 100 at B - A, 100ft S-rank and 200ft at S+ for two post per rank, ignoring any and all effects that remove or block the ability to smell a person and as such any advantage they would have gained(Due to the fact she can basically see and focus on scents with the capacity to separate and filter out negative scents that might be used to overwhelm this sense). This is unable to be jammed as it is a natural ability of being a Kemono Shinzo and lasts 2 posts per rank cast and an action but may be refreshed upon ending for no action and the original cost being paid, two rank cost lower every other post maintenance cost. Should her Antennae be damaged badly or removed she becomes unable to use this jutsu, each Antennae needs B-rank damage applied to be disabled.

Etsuko has the interesting trait of having very adaptive chakra that easily blends with and takes on the properties of other chakra, which likely is a reason to how her Divine weaving works. With this ability as long as she has a sensory technique active Etsuko can match another person’s chakra moulding and release that in sync with the other person. This allows her to be treated as using an appropriate technique for collaboration as it mixes into and takes on the properties of the others technique or can buffer it, able to effect either of the normal collaboration bonuses based on circumstances.

Restraining Silk | Rank X | Bloodline [ depends ]| Cost [ Complex ]
Etsuko will launch silk threads through the air or on/underground in multiple thick and sturdy threads that wrap around peoples limbs, with a tight grip allowing Etsuko to restrain their movements and reduce their freedom of mobility. While connected to opponents they loose stat bonuses from techniques and Etsuko can yank the threads around and make life harder for physical Jutsu. Lasts 2 posts a rank removing the threats requires an action and their value in resources to remove, however she can pay the cost to counter the efficiency of their effort and cause them to remove only half her threads and require another attempt to remove the rest, causing the still captured limbs to remained effected by this technique.

Appearance: Is a diabolical ironclad beetle which is a flat looking as opposed to rounded beetle with a bark like shell. Though he is darker in colour. He’s only about six feet tall and about 18 long, unlike most beetles his species has no wings.

Ability: The protector
Benkei is a Noble and honourable beetle who prides himself as a defender of those with pure and honourable hearts. His breed of beetle are the holders of the hardest shell of their species, Benkeis so strong he is treated as having Heavy armour without disability.

Reinforces the shell just above his head before it lowers down to offer additional frontal protection, granting him a Heavy shield for 4 posts and counting as a defensive technique when first used.
Bulldoze | Rank: B | Cost: Stamina
Ramming into a foe with his powerful body, tossing them back with the sheer force of his weight and hardness. Crimson it’s shield bug active he may pay that techniques cost for no additional activation to gain a bonus defence against any counter attacks. Opponents struck are sent flying five foot per rank.

Rolling up into a ball that can be used to surround a single target to benefit them with the full defensive possibility that Benkei can offer. Chakra is spread through his shell and repairs any active shields and his natural natural armour up one durability level each and continue to do so each round he is a ball. While a ball he can roll around to use basic combat technique and bulldoze, applying tier two paralysis to opponents when struck this way. Costs two ranks below casting to maintain


Barrier techniques

First Princess: shield | Rank E - B | Fuuin/Bloodline [ Element ]| Cost [ Spiritual ]
Creating an rectangle of silk with a complex internal pattern with the symbol for princess within it, Etsuko focuses her chakra through it and the fabric burns up creating an transparent green barrier. This barrier is 10ft tall and 20 wide, increasing by 10 ft per rank, able to be moved at will and prevents physical attacks from passing through, lasting 2 post per rank and requiring 2 ranks lower than casting cost in upkeep. Every instance of contact with this barrier applies an appropriate tier of hex of her choosing. (E - C T-1, B T-2)




Princesses Rebuke | Rank X | Fuuin/booodline | Cost [ Spiritual ]
Using an active Princess barrier techniques mobility to its full effect, Etsuko may rapidly and forcefully move the barriers to ram people with immense force and power, the utility of this potentially changing depending on what barrier is active. She is able to cast this technique up to a barriers rank in power, reinforcing the barrier with this technique and allowing it to move up to 20 - 100ft distance, causing tiered trauma and launching people as they get rammed 10 ft a rank up to S-rank but a whopping 100ft at S+, the later three ranks of this technique doing similar damage to being struck by a massive speeding vehicle. This Jutsu strengthen the barriers strength with its own preventing the barrier loss if this technique looses in a collision.

Second Princess: Retort | Rank B - S+ | Fuuin/bloodline [ Element ]| Cost [ Spiritual ]
A technique that is set up before combat in a chakra scroll or tag that can hold its value, only two copies of the technique may be store. She may activate this stored technique at a basic unsealing cost and expending the scroll it is stored in. This creates a square barrier that’s 10 by 10ft per rank of value, rotating like a windmill and absorbing the force of techniques that strike it and unleashing shockwaves back the way it came, though as a wide ordinance, twenty feet wide and in length that smashes with waves of force equal to the power and carrying the same properties as the countered technique. This barrier lasts until the beginning of Etsukos next post, lasting long enough to be used with one of her barrier manipulation techniques if it’s the first or second Jutsu she uses in the follow up round.

Princess: Favour of royalty | Rank X | Fuuin/bloodline [ Element ]| Cost [ Spiritual ]
A barrier control technique used with the Princess series, this Jutsu is cast at the rank of a present Princess technique and costing an action to target up to three other people(each target requires her pay the chakra cost). In doing this a fragment of her barrier will separate and relocate to her target and surround them, defending them with the same traits the barrier carries until the original barrier dissipates, costing Etsuko OR the person benefiting two ranks below casting cost every other round to maintain.

Third Princess: Dungeon | Rank B - S+ | Fuuin/bloodline [ Element ]| Cost [ Spiritual ]
A barrier technique with the intent to imprison a person that costs two activations and it’s cost twice to perform. This creates a dual layered red and orange barriers that both hold a special effect each. The inner barrier absorbs chakra at a rate of one rank below the techniques casting cost per post to strengthen itself by said amount, the second barrier internally disallows effects that affect a jutsus or the barriers rank when they interact, though externally it is fragile by receiving a rank increased damage when put through external stimulus. Breaking one barrier cancels its effects, both effects are simultaneously active and a barrier can be replaced at the cost of an action and ranked value. Costs two ranks beneath casting per barrier to maintain each post. This technique is unable to work with most barrier manipulation techniques as it’s two solid cubic barriers.
