yalie5 draven_heart 'Lament of the Lamb' anyone? Quite a depressing manga or rather different form the ones I read most of the time, but I like it. hmm... starving artist commits suicide kind of depressing? more like, sickness making you into a vampire thing and saying should i kill my self before the madness takes me or before i hurt someone i care, kinda depressing.

Right now I've just finished reading Full Moon wo Sagashite.
Such a sweet story, it made me almost tear up.
It involdes a girl who wants to be a singer who is suffering from throat cancer and if she gets surgery then she won't be able to sing anymore. She made a promise to a dead love that she'd come close. Then these gods of death visit her telling her that she has only one year left to live.
Gods of deaths=They are similar to grim reapers except they commited sucide in their previous life and their punishment was to take the role of gods of death. 0-0;

You might've seen the series, "Twin of Brothers" on TVB, starring Raymond Lam. The book is so much longer and complicated than the tv.

cold_blooded_chick yalie5 cold_blooded_chick Vampiric depression?!?!? eek yes when you torture yourself so much that you doubt your own worth and waste away to virtual bloodless corpse that is only one step away from salvation, being cursed for eternity and becoming a blood thirsty demonic advocater that will steal the youth of others... really it's worse than the starving artist suicide stuff. domokun I'm lost... sad hehe^^ sorry about that. i got caught up in the spur of the moment. let me explain. when people are really depressed and really doubting whether or not they should be alive they're thinking too much on it and will forget about the good things and just not eat and stuff like that. and they waste away pretty much turning all pale and frail and looking like a vampire. and when a vampire really does come along and offers them a chance at eternal life and stuff like that they'll see it as salvation at the moment, but later on they'll probably realize their mistake and regret it seeing it as a curse and by then they can't stop drinking blood and stealing the youth of others by drinking their blood and killing them most likely and letting them keep their own youth and beauty.... so do you understand it now?
