Dante leaned over and kissed her cheek.
"I've got orders. I'll see you later."
He left the room and climbed the grand stairs in the palace.

 

[DarkWaterMiyo]

"I really wish the Majesty would understand these two. I've known them both all their immortal lives. Master turned Kanna-san because he loved her." Ms. Shirune sighed as she explained to Grey some of the deeper things.  

[Fire_Alchemist_Riya]

Grey kept quiet; she didnt know if they knew her story and she preferred not to tell them. "My heart goes out to you."

 

[DarkWaterMiyo]

"Thank you..." Kanna said as she sniffed a little. Her eyes had become puffy and red when she cried.

Kazuo gave her his hankerchief and hugged her. "I really wish there was something we could do."

"Y'know...." Kanna said between sniffs, "This seems to remind me so much of a story back in the human realm...Cinderella...."

Grey snorted. "Not quite. Dont we have a lesson to get to?"

 

[DarkWaterMiyo]

"Yes, you're right..." Kanna wiped her eyes and sat down on a chair to compose herself.

Kazuo stood next to her, waiting for her to finish.

"How about we do a different dance this time," Ms. Shirune suggested.  

[Fire_Alchemist_Riya]

"Whatever you'd like," she said quickly, wanting to get off the subject as soon as she could.

 

[DarkWaterMiyo]

"Something a little more upbeat should do it..." Ms. Shirune began playing a song with a more lively melody, so the steps were faster.

Kanna accepted Kazuo's hand again and together they began the faster-paced song. They kept perfectly on beat the whole time.

Grey sat on the lavishly adorned chair and sighed to herself. This wasnt where she wanted to be. And the day was certainly going to be long.

 

[DarkWaterMiyo]

"Marters-san, you seem bored. If you wish to leave, you are allowed to."  

[Fire_Alchemist_Riya]

She rolled her eyes at the teacher. "I know what that means. Forget it. I'd rather work than get reported."

 

[DarkWaterMiyo]

"Oh, I didn't mean it like that. But if you wish to stay I'm not going to stop you."

Kazuo and Kanna continued to dance as Ms. Shirune changed the music to very slow.  

[Fire_Alchemist_Riya]

"You dont find it inappropriate for them to dance together?"

 

[DarkWaterMiyo]

"Well, even though it is against The Majesty's original wishes, she has allowed Kanna-san to be the Masters dance partner for lessons today. If she allows it, then I myself certainly has no objection."  

[Fire_Alchemist_Riya]

Grey stood and picked up her thin notebook.
"That isnt what I mean. You're making it harder for them later."
