My parents are okay with me being bi, it's not a big deal.

But I know people who have kicked their children out when they've found out they're gay. Sick.

That sucks. D:

I'm telling my parents
I'm Bi when I'm eighteen
and headin' off to college.
Sort of a "HA! ;P
Your 'perfect' daughter ain't
as perfect as you thought" moment.
They'll probably never let me
back into the house,
and thats suprisingly okay with me. ^-^"

Those assholes! D<

I'm straight, but my parents don't really give a damn about that stuff.

Kicked her out? That's horrible! Happens a lot though. ;___;
Well if her parents are Christians, then that's a bit hard. I would tell them to go to the church and ask how to handle the situation...before you kick your daughter out.
I'm not sure how my parents would react. Not sure how they'll react in most situations! D:
Best of luck to your friend, PTF.

Ew.. I agree you that parents should love their kids. It's a weird thing, that they kick her out just because that. O___o;

i can see where you're goingg
my cousin David who's 14 yrs old was kicked out of his home, and now lives with me (his aunt asked a priest what was "happening" and the priest answered "its just a phase" stare )
i know a guy named cameron who had to be homeschooled right when his mom found out
it does suuucckkk
butttt, if i was a mother, i think i would act similarly
i mean, I wouldn't KICK them out, but i'd be pretty sad/upset, since i can't have biological grandchildren (edit: and of course, it's just different... for such a significant "change" it'll take time).. but I'd probably get out of it, and of course, accept them for who they are. i accepted others, so i guess i really wouldnt *mind*
remember those days when bi/homosexuality wasnt a norm? i'm actually pretty glad more & more people are motiv8ed/being honest(?), so one day, no one would care if you were gay/bi/whateverrr
