Peppermint Elf A theme would be easier. Like you said, everyone's tastes differ. But if we had a theme instead of a pattern, I'm sure more people would be able to scrounge up a pattern they'd personally like. It'll also be more interesting for people who don't knit to see what everyone else chooses. 3nodding ok, so what i'm thinking is choose a theme, then maybe toss out like, 2 or 3 patterns for each catagory of easy/beginner, harder/intermediate, difficult/experienced. i don't think scarves and mittens are quite appropriate for summer. any idea for a theme to start with?
