She turned her head away at the mention of that part of her past, crossing her arms again with a shrug.
"Well, we'll just be careful until then, unless Ethin has an overwhelming desire to be an uncle," she added wryly.

"Speaking of which, have you even ever met up with ol' unlce Sevvy?" Cobain asked with a small grin. "He'll never admit it, but he's grown fond of the kid. Still doesn't keep him from asking if 'you're finally here to take the whelp off my hands'." He went on, chuckling.

"I've spoken with Sevran a few times. We just settled that whole issue before I even left. He doesn't dare ask me," she said with a short laugh. She had been going to say something else, but left it hanging.
