Elizabeth looked up at Donovan surprised at the apology. She slitted her eyes toward and opened her mouth to say something rather rude, but nothing came out. Something was wrong, she should have said something harsh toward him, but she couldn't think of anything harsh to say to him. Her mind was blank, so she simply sighed and looked the other way while speaking. "Well I guess it is understandable since I am getting married to your brother and everything. Your forgiven this once."
((Sorry for not being on alot. I try my hardest to get on at the library but it is hard since my dad works nights. Hopefully I'll be getting a new comp soon so you won't have to wait so long.))

Donovan watched her attempt a rude comeback, fail, then tell him she forgave him. This once. He grinned and laughed quietly, not a mean laugh but a genuinely amused laugh. "I get the feeling we'll be having this conversation more times than you'll be happy about." He had a habit of getting under people's skin.

Elizabeth simply stared at him not daring to say anything to his words. He most likely was right, which made her skin crawl slightly. She leaned against the beams behind her and closed her eyes in an atempt to get some rest that she she direly needed at the moment.

Donovan grinned when she didn't say anything, trying to suppress a laugh. When she closed her eyes, he did the same. No point in bothering to stay awake. The rescue people would wake them up soon enough. He yawned largely before relaxing, willing himself to sleep.

Finally after what seemed to take forever, Elizabeth finally feel into a deep sleep. Her chest rose and feel lightly as she breathed. Soon her mind began to dream and how wonderous those dreams were. A light smile feel upon her lips as she dreamed, waiting for her sleep to be ruined by something or someone.
((OMG I might be getting a new computer soon which means I be able to get on more often instead of every month!))

After dozing for half an hour, Donovan half opened one eye. He looked over at Elizabeth, watching her. His thoughts raced and his heart ached. Or maybe that was the chili he'd eaten coming back to bite him. Either way, his heart hurt.
Closing his eye again, he fell back to sleep only to be awoken sometime later by the sound of voices nearby.

Elizabeth stired as the light sounds of voices began to ring in her ears. After a moment she half opened her eyes and glanced around. It must be the rescue squad finally arriving to save them. 'Finally.' she thought to herself as she shifted herself into a more confortable postion.

Donovan tilted his head at the sound of barking, and close by too. They must have been using dogs to search for people. That would certainly speed things up. Stretching his arms out in front of him, he yawned largely, making him look too much like a cat. He pulled his arms back in before sitting up. "Sleep well?" he asked Elizabeth.

As Elizabeth finished sitting up a sharp pain ran up her back. She wanted to shout in pain but instead she bit her tongue and held it in the back of her throut and let the pain reside. "Yea." she said simply, not wanting to speak to much in fear of Donovan hearing her pain in her voice.

Donovan looked at her suspiciously, as if he suspected something wasn't quite right. But he didn't get the chance to voice his suspicion. The sound of footsteps overhead caught his attention. Looking up, he yelled, "Hey! Watch where you're walking!" The person above shifted over slightly and started digging, causing bits of dirt and drywall to come down on him. With an annoyed hiss, he shook his head.

Elizabeth watched carefully as the people began to dig. She watched as dirt and rubble fell ontop of Donovan causing him to become irattated.
As Elizabeth went to grab for Donovan’s arm to remove him from the place where he sat the pain once more began to coarse through her body. She let out a small cry of pain but she simply bites her lip to shut herself up and tugged on his arm as larger pieces of rubble began to fall from above. She knew what the problem was, it was her back which could cause problems later but at that moment she had no worries of it as her mind was set of keeping Donovan from being squished from rubble.

A cry of pain caught Donovan's attention even though it was quickly cut off. His head snapped around, eyes locking on Elizabeth. As she tugged on his arm, he moved out of the way to sit beside her. As bigger pieces of rubble started to fall, he growled lowly, shifting so he put himself between the rubble and Elizabeth.

Elizabeth noticed the protective stance that Donovan took in front of her as he moved from his place as larger and larger pieces of rubble began to crumble.
Her hold on his arm tightened as a low moan escaped her lips. The pain was quickly becoming worse by the second. However she didn't want to show weakness in front of Donovan so she bite down on her lip hearder and tried her hardest to just suck it up and wait for the people above to get done.
