Alex smiled and looked at her. "Thanks a lot that was very nice" she said. "I beleive you can do anything you put your mind to" she told her. "I think you'd make a wonderful vet" she said as she began to eat again. "So...is there any young man you have a thing for?" she asked with a smile her fang showing slightly.

Karana smiled and finished off the last bit of her lasagna before answering Alex's question in a casual tone of voice. "No, not really. I mean, a few of the guys at Cleanse and Eden aren't half bad, but I don't think they are really all that interested in me, or they have their eyes on someone else and I'm not about to break up any romances." She wiped her mouth clean with her napkin.

Alex smiled at Karana. "That's mighty nice of you" she admitted. Alex wouldn't have a problem doing that, she normally followed her instincts. Finishing off her meal she looked at Karana. "You're really a pretty girl Karana..." she trailed. "I think that the boys and girls are both cute" she said. "I like men and women equally" she admitted to Karana.

“12 years to the day…12 years to the day since I first arrived here in Eden, and now I am one of the oldest” Serena muttered rolling over on her bed to face the ceiling. She often counted the years of her strange rather confusing life. Which up until she was 9 years old had been pretty normal, until she like many others, had been visited in her dream by the one known as the mad man. Her yearning for freedom had been granted in a sea of fire and screams, something that still rears its ugly head when the lights have faded.
With a low grown she got out of bed and began her usual routine. Which consisted of washing, training, another wash, Breakfast then a stroll around her home of the last 11 years. A place called Eden. From the outside it seemed like any other orphanage. But those within its walls where not your average children. They had all been visited by the mad man. And he had bestowed upon them ‘gifts’ that resembled their favourite mythical creature or fairytale.
It was still early. But knowing Serena she had probably slept in, she was not one for keeping track of time though she ought to.
In her usual quiet self she greeted others who past by, although she had been apart of Eden for quite some time, she was still not known too all occupants. Which is probably due to the fact she has been travelling a lot over the years. Carrying out task’s for the top occupants here. And it was only last week that she had returned from a 4 month trip in France.
The combat room was empty, which was always a plus in Serena’s eyes. She smiled before laying out a battered leather case that held her most prized weapon. One that she had excelled in, even by top marital arts experts standards. The Kusarigama was a weapon that took good amount of skill and determination to use, and if you can get your skills sharpened just right, this weapon would become your life line.
Serena had spent a good few hours the previous night sharpening the curved blade, while she had repaired and damage to the 10ft chain and changed the ball weight. Now the weapon was back to its former glory.
She took up her stance the blade in one hand while the joint chain and weight was in the other. She began with a few simple spins of the blade before checking to make sure that the weight was the right type. She took a deep breath before really letting lose on the dummies.
For two hours Serena trained. She was panting and beads of perspiration made her skin sparkle. She was now sitting on one of the mats satisfied with the now defiantly dead, dummies. “Nothing like a work out to wake up ones mind and body”

Elizabeth ducked as Renault turned the stones on her, a few of them lightly scratching her arms as she held them up to protect her face. She lowered her arms knowing one had lightly scratched her face but shrugged it off, momentarily turning her attention to Cheshure. "Ok, you win." She laughed talking to Renault, before returning her concentration to the body floating above them suddenly becoming serious. "What did you find?" She asked, intrigued and nervous about their new enemy.

Renault dropped his agility increasing armor to the ground with a thud and the looked up at Cheshure with a smirk. "Yeah, yeah. Slow. Yeah. Just get to telling us what you saw will ya?" From there, the shell he once was simply dissipated into the dirt. Looking at Eliza, he half bows, then looks up to the air walking Cheshure awaiting the results of the mission and the answer to Eliza's question.

Karana was surprised by Alex's words. She had nothing against people who liked both genders. But she never would have expected it from Alex. Then again, she barely knew her. Karana smiled. "Thank you. I haven't given much thought as to whether I like girls as well, but I guess you can say I've always been pretty open minded. I think you're very pretty too," she said. "So, how long have you liked both guys and girls?" she asked curiously.  While Rimet was cleaning the kitchen, Yukina set to work cleaning all of the rooms. It took her awhile. Quite a few of the rooms were a mess so they took more time than the rest. Once she finished, she decided to head down to the kitchen to see how Rimet was doing. It came as a shock to her when she saw the kitchen. She had never seen it so pristine before. She stood in the doorway and looked around, a stunned expression upon her face. "I've never seen it look this way before. You can practically eat off of the floors," she said staring at her reflection below her.

“Ok, so I guess it is time to answer the call of my stomach and eat” Serena muttered to herself while leaving her room. Which was in a bit of a state, clothes where scattered around on the floor and the odd suitcase. She always put tidying up to the last minute.
She left her room wearing simple jeans and a plan black t-shirt, and headed towards what she remembered as the kitchen. Inside there was two others who she recognised but did not remember their names “Man I really need to pay attention…or hand out name tags” She smiled while opening the fridge and inspecting its contents intently. “Hmmm” She murmured out loud before reaching in and grabbing a egg.
The pan sizzled spitting tiny drops of oil over the once pristine oven while Serena waited for her egg to be done. Her eyes moved from one person to the next wondering what each of their gifts where. She liked to keep a note on the gifted ones she meet. Even if one dies, it would give her a slight understanding of what someone else with a similar gift could do. And how to stop them.
Serena began to butter some bread leaving crumbs on the cutting board. She turned to face the others who where present and gave them a sheepish smile “I will clean this up when I am done”
With the food ready she sat at a table and began to munch on it appreciably savouring it like a person who had been starved. “I never could stomach foreign food” She said thinking back to the time in France when she had struggled with the language barrier and ordered snails on the of chance that it might have been chicken.

(( Yes it was a fantastic first post, just one thing it's been 12 years sense everyone joined their respected groups, haha no big deal though. ))
Cheshure smiled. He held out his arm and pulled on the cuff of his sleeve. it stretched to great lengths as he reached into the blackness that was his sleeve and rummaged through everything before pulling out a folder. " Don't ask how I was hiding that. " He tossed the folder to Renault. In it were the missions specifications for Sentinel and every person that was going on the specific missions. " I would say my mission was a success. " He laughed to himself for a moment before waiting for a response.

"As you wish." Nasrin replied to the Mad Man, with a small bow of her head. Her sadistic smile quickly became ever so slightly smug. To be given the chance to join the ranks of her creator, it was such an honor. She would take this chance to proove herself and show the Mad Man just how much she respected him and would remain loyal to him. Any protests that Evie would make would mean little to her actions. Twelve years she was forced to watch the life of Evie from her mental prison, and now Evie would watch as Nasrin made up for those twelve years in blood.
Nasrin turned to leave once the Mad Man had vanished to begin his own mission. She found herself then facing a man in stelth armour. "Very well." She murmured after his bow, "But let this not take long. I'm eager to begin." As far as she was concerned, the only thing she felt that needed preperation was finding where the nearest shuttle was that she would be able to commandear. Unless the Sentinel had another way for her to get to the space station of course.

Alex looked at Karana then out the window. "hmmm" she thought. "I think I've always have...well at a point and time I thought everyone was 'icky'" she said laughing. "But I think when I was like 11, I really began to like people." she told her. "When we first met Brian, I had the HUGEST crush on him" she admitted laughing. "Then when I was like 14, I had the biggest girl on Marie" she said. Marie was a former member of Cleanse, a manipulator of light. "Would you like some desert" she asked.
Angelina wondered how her commrades were holding out as she saw land approach. Africa was a large continent. She would have to stop and rest soon enough. She would rest before exploring the secrets of the pyramids.

Karana nodded. She remembered Marie, but did not really know her on a personal level. "I can see why you would have a crush on Brian. He's something special all right. I didn't exactly have what you would call a crush on him, but I am very fond of him. But in this day and age, it would be illegal. I'm only sixteen and he's twenty-five I believe. She beamed at the mention of dessert. "Sure. You know I always have room," she said patting her stomach, which was amazingly still flat even after all that food.

Alex laughed a little as the waitress came back to collect their plates. "Can I have two peach cobbler slices with vanilla ice cream" Alex requested. "Hope you like it...it's the best desert here" she said smiling. "Well, I mean...you can still talk to him, that's not illegal...having a sexual affair is against the law" she said. The waitress soon brought out two plates of the desert as Alex began to eat. "Enjoy" she said smiling.

Karana licked her lips at the mention of peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream. "It's my favorite," she admitted waiting until the waitress brought out their plates before she began speaking again. "I mean, I know I can talk to him and I do, all the time. I don't think I'll ever be ready for anything sexual with anyone in the near future," she said. "I want to get this business with Sentinel taken care of first before I start worrying about who I want to be with." She took a bite of her cobbler and ice cream.
