Maybe it's simply because you really don't see the symbol as much since the end of the Cold War? Back then, you'd see fallout shelters in most buildings, which were designated with the symbol...along with a lot of nuclear-themed movies, which had the symbol all over them. Maybe it's just due to a decreased exposure to that particular symbol? <<

God forbid they ever find something radioactive somehow and decide to play with it gonk *Snuggles and nibbles happily on her poky* We've had tons of incidents with the dumb asses down in South America stealing stuff from hospitals that were radio active. they filled hundreds of 36 gallon drums with top soil and tons of other stuff after an incident involving the theft of a metal box full of blue powder that was a radioactive by-product of X-ray machines from the hospital it was stolen from. a Little girl died after playing with the powder and eating a sandwich, she had to be buried in a lead coffin, and 1 cubic foot of top soil acres around the area had to be excavated and put in the drums mentioned before. They once did a ep of Captain Planet where a similar thing happened. Captain planet is still on, its on Boomerang and they show the symbol. Also most hospitals have the symbol somewhere. I know they sell stickers with the symbols, and signs for teenage doors and walls. Not to mention lego has stickes in some of their sets.

We are leaving the education of the masses to Capt. Planet and Lego? Am I the only one who has a problem with that? I mean, legos are great, but it's still a stretch to say that they teach a coherent worldview. I can totally fix that pothole with enough bricks XD
