"You'd like that, wouldn't you," she said affectionately, some of her old mood returning. Cobain had been right - it did feel better now that she had yelled at someone.

"You wouldn't hear much complaint out of me." Cobain admitted, shrugging and smiling. "I told you you'd feel better." He added, feeling her moods change.

"And I do feel better," she added in satisfaction. "I'm sorry for taking it all out on you, though."

Kiae smiled into his shirt before shaking her head and stepping back. "If you got your hair cut, you'd almost look like a real Tinker," she remarked. "A tall one."

"Technically you would be," she replied, purposefully being dense. They had gone farther from camp than she had thought, but it didn't matter. It was nice to have some quiet time before everything happened.
