Well I live in St. John's and that's considered a town to most people from away from Newfoundland. Where I originate the pop. is 800.
I have been to the mainland once. I went to Toronto and Ottawa among other large settlements. I can't see how people can survive in a place like that ^_^;

It's not as bad as you think. I guess I live on the other end of the spectrum, not thinking of it possible to live in a isolated, seemingly-quarentined island/oasis/area.

Exactly. Most of the people here, if not all, live or are very close to large cities from what I understand. I mean, most of you are from the US. Isn't that all big cities on the coasts?

Not all, but mostly. It's very livable when you get used to it.
I now live in a place, still on the coast, which is particularly isolated, and I hate it e_e

'Livable,' right. I still get lost taking public transit. And I've lived here for almost half a year now. ^_^;

And livable would likely be an understatement. If you can figure out things like that, it's a lot easier to live in than other places.

lol I'm imagining Metrobus in my hometown. xd
It would comprise of one route that would finish a full cycle in ten minutes lmao. Much more convenient to walk over there.
I know three different bus routes, and that's all. There's 23 or 24 different routes in this 'city' and the one next to it. We don't have a subway or anything like that. Yup, this is probably a 'town' to most of you xd
