Elryn was relieved when his cousin helped him, and he clambered up onto the edge of the pool, shaking himself off.

Derrick laughed, stepping back. "Oh really? Maybe I'd rather just watch you get wet." he teased, and Elryn burst into barking laughter, finding his phrasing amusing. Derrick's grin widened, suggesting maybe that he knew how his phrasing was, and then he did a cannon ball, jumping in beside Dimitri before wrapping his legs around the other's waist from behind and his arms around the other's neck, mostly in the water as he kissed the other's cheek. "Love you." he said warmly, nuzzling the other lovingly.

Giamonde scrunched his nose a bit at that before sighing. "It was never me, Gelia. It was always the damned curse and demon..and it wasn't hard for it to take control..In my near two centuries of life..I've never been happier than I was with you and the kids.."

Dimitri turned in Derrick's grip, facing the other. "Love you, too," he said, pressing his lips against Derrick's. He didn't care that they were both still in their clothes. All he cared about was the fact that Derrick was in his arms.

Magelia nodded. "Giamonde...I understand. I just need a little time to process it all," she said, reaching over and giving his hand a gentle squeeze. She parked the car and gave him a soft smile. "Just time," she said softly.

Derrick smiled, returning the kiss deeply as he pressed against the other and held him.

Elryn gave a barking cheer, tail wagging and ears perked. He was happy his cousin had found such love and happiness.

Giamonde blinked and then smiled at the gentle squeeze. "All the time in the world.." he promised softly, lifting her hand and pressing another soft kiss to it before releasing it as he unbuckled and stepped from the car, moving to the front and waiting for her after shutting his door. He glanced around. "This world seems worse off everytime I see it." he said, looking to the neon signs of the store, the multitudes of people with their technology, and the stream of cars and noise.

Dimitri chuckled at Elryn, causing him to break the kiss. "I guess we should at least get changed," he chuckled. "Then again..." he broke off, giving Derrick another deep kiss.

Maggie smiled when Giamonde agreed to give her time. She got out of the car, locking it behind her. She stood beside him for a moment. "It isn't all that bad," she said. "Some of these technologies make things easier. I can check up on the children with our cell phones. And look, if we didn't have cars, coming to get these groceries would have taken all day long." She placed a hand on his shoulder and began to guide him towards the automatic doors of the store.

Derrick returned the deep kiss before puling away with a grin. "Well..we should take our clothes off, at least." his grin widened a bit and he winked before leaning forward and kissing Dimitri's neck.

Giamonde looked up at her and listened. "Hmph. Horses have more character." he said in a grumpy tone, but the twitch of his lips into a little grin and the twinkle in his eye showed he was being playful as he walked along with her.

Dimitri grinned. "I thought that was generally reserved for the bedroom," he teased. "Oh, you mean to swim," he playfully corrected with a wink. He began to raise Derrick's shirt up at the back to pull it over his head.

Maggie grinned as they walked towards the store. "You've obviously never had a car that you really liked," she said. "They can have personalities of their own."

Derrick chuckled. "Is that what I meant?" He grinned as his shirt was lifted, waiting until his was off before doing the same to Derrick.

Elryn made a noise. "Ewww..cousin and cousin's lover porn.." he groaned playfully.

Giamonde smiled at her grin. "I was too busy admiring the woman in the passenger seat as opposed to admiring our car." he said with a chuckle, sounding more like the Lyle of old.

Maggie rolled her eyes and grinned. "You always were a smooth talker," she said, grabbing a shopping basket. She began walking through the aisles, picking out a few things she would need for lasagna. "I have to admit...it is nice to have the old you around again," she said.

Dimitri splashed some water at Elryn jokingly. "No one is making you stay, cuz," he teased before kissing Derrick once again, trying to playfully torture Elryn.

Giamonde grinned widely at that. As he followed her down the aisle, his grin slipped as he blinked at the words before smiling softly. "It's nice to have you around at all." he said softly, brushing his hand by hers before moving it away. Giamonde wasn't stupid, and intimate affections in a public forum when he looked like a ten year old probably wasn't a smart thing to do.

Elryn growled playfully and groaned again when they started kissing. "Someone has to keep an eye on you to, before all the clothes come off and this pool becomes contaminated." he teased with a laugh.

Maggie tried to ignore the hand brush, but the grin that crept across her lips showed that she couldn't. Don't get too caught up in him, Maggie she told herself. She was so afraid of getting hurt again. "So...um...should we do ice cream and apple pie for dessert, or chocolate cake?" she said in an effort to change the subject.

Dimitri chuckled again. "Well, there is always the poolhouse," he joked. Though, the more he thought about it, it was a tempting idea. If for no other reason than to spend some time with Derrick alone. Then again, he didn't exactly relish the idea that Elryn would be left by himself since Gia was with Maggie.

Giamonde saw the grin and mentally cheered. At the question, he let out a bark of laughter. "Do you even have to ask? Chocolate cake all the way!" He rather much had a sweet tooth, as apparent when he added, "Although we could get some ice cream with it as well.." he tapped his chin as if in thought, grinning up at her all the while.

Elryn sighed. "I see how it is. Fiiiiiiiiiiine..I'll just go..lounge around..or whatever lonely, neglected dogs do." he said dramatically, giving a sniffling whine for effect before heading towards the house, grinning now that his back was turned. Elryn loved playing with his cousin.

Magelia chuckled. "Like father, like son, eh?" she joked as she grabbed a box of chocolate cake mix and cream cheese icing. "Alright. You go pick out the ice cream," she said as she turned towards the frozen food section.

"Geez...I didn't realize being a pooch that you'd still be a baby," Dimitri teased back. He chuckled and turned his attention back to Derrick. "Now...where were we?" he said, leaning in and letting his lips brush agains the other's with a smile as he spoke.

(o-o..did she mean that Jaime had a sweet tooth? Or that Giamonde's dad had a sweet tooth? or referring doubly to Giamonde? @__@)

Giamonde watched her pick out the cake and icing and grinned at her words. He darted off and returned quickly bearing cookie dough ice cream. Giamonde looked adorable in his child form, somewhat hugging the ice cream. "Cookie dough. Ice cream of the Gods." he said with a sagely nod and a wide grin.

"Meany!" called back Elryn before he disappeared into the house.

Derrick grinned as he looked to Dimitri, kissing the other deeply as the other brushed against his lips. He pressed closer before pulling away and nuzzling the other. "Mmm..I think I like you better furless.." he murmured teasingly, as if he wasn't quite sure.

"I should have known," Maggie said with a chuckle. "And see...all technology isn't bad. Otherwise, you wouldn't have that pre-packaged wonderful goodness," she said teasingly.

Dimitri savored the kiss for as long as he could. He grinned a bit at Derrick's works before pulling back. "Either way, I can still do this," he chuckled. He shook his head, shaking out the water from his hair and splashing water against Derrick.

Giamonde's brow rose slightly. "Should I be worried? It sounds like your rather fond of this Technology." he said in a teasing scoff.

Derrick laughed aloud, wiping at his eyes. "Hey! Quit it, furball!" he said playfully, ruffling Dimitri's wet hair playfully and lovingly as he gave the other a light kiss.
