M soon realized that both girls had lost their memories. The island experiment had opened M's eyes to many things. One such thing was that the past was in the past and in his opinion irrelevant. It didn't matter that he had been living in one room for years under constant watch. What mattered was that he was there, with his new friends, experiencing the world. M replied simply to Leeloo and Sabine," I am M. A friend and fellow experiment." The experiences he had with the girls up to that point had seemingly vanished, and M wasn't sure how he felt about that. He was mainly glad that both girls were back and there was time to make new memories.

"Yes," M replied, keeping things simple. What was past was past. If a new start meant making some of the uncomfortable moments go away then he would make it happen. M then began to wonder what he could tell them about the past few days if they asked. Would he weave a tale and deceive or manipulate the girls to get what he wanted like a human? Or would he tell them the truth or not tell them anything at all. These thoughts weighed on M, while he laid Leeloo on the bed beside him and releasing his telekinetic hold on her.

Leeloo stared at the man named M. "M..." She whispered softly. It was a strange sensation and she liked the warmth of another person. It was comforting. Her blinking got slower and slower, and soon her black eyes closed all together. Her mind continued working on the flashes of memories that were so confusing. She searched for M's mind and probed in. Pictures of herself dying? Being brought back to life?

Leeloo listened to the guttural, unharmonic sounds that were this language. She stared at the man, then at the red sheets, that were dyed with blood. She looked back at M, and made a slight noise. A sort of gurring noise along with a slight change of pitch. She shivered gently and breathed slowly.

She shivered, to show him what she wanted. Then a picture of her cuddled up in a blanket with M and Sabine, to keep warm.

Sabine complied, somewhat reluctantly. Though the information that this room had been hers also made her somewhat more comfortable, she still didn't feel she knew this girl well - but M had given her the responsibility to watch over her with his request, and Sabine would fill that responsibility. Besides,unnecessary death was not pleasant, and Sabine had no desire to witness it at this moment. She laid on the bed, close to Leeloo, and watched her carefully. And she surprised herself a little; she felt pity for her. Somehow, she felt that this girl was a powerful being; possibly she held as much or more potential than Sabine herself, and yet she was lying here, weaker and with no more comprehension than a child. Sabine softened a little towards her, and couldn't help but give her a small, reassuring smile.

Leeloo sighed as she felt the warmth of another person. She heard thoughts and faded memories. She could feel how terrible it was for that lady, seeing something but not able to grasp the memory connected to it. She felt the pity, the confusion and slightly reluctance. She breathed deeply and her body slowly calmed down, and the red blood cells began mitosis and the process was exceedingly slow.

Violet's eyes opened in a drowsily fashion. A moment's silence followed by a quick examination saw that there was now a lack of blood within the atmosphere. Leeloo looked to be at peace with Sabine as company right besides her. Further examination of the room showed Novama looking as if he was about to leave. "Oh? I think I may walk out with you." Standing up slowly from her stiffing sleep, she smiled. "It seems you have enough company and I detest causing anyone inconvience." Approuching Novama as if cautiously, she made sure it was ok to go with him out the door.
